You think that you are done looking but it just keeps going. Take it from me, start on the top floor and make your way down to the basement. On a hot day, you will thank me for this. Sweat your ass off at the start of it and then end your visit in the basement where you will definitely cool down. I took my time in here because it was really a maze of a place. You cannot guess the correct path her because there is no correct path. Like a typical maze, you will find that some turns take you down a dead end. I came here with nothing in mind to purchase. I just browsed. This place had everything from books to vintage clothes. I took an interest in kitchen items and vintage toys. Or what some would consider to be vintage toys now. I saw so many different items in here that took me down memory lane. I was grasping at nostalgic straws here. I honestly wanted to buy so many things here, but really couldn't justify it. I like this type of treasure hunt. Because it's me finding items that were lost to time in my life. I can purchase some of them, or I can just look at it to unlock that memory in my mind.

One thing to be aware of is the building has a very strong musty smell. If you have allergies or are sensitive to dust or odors, definitely keep that in mind. The biggest downside for me is the customer service at the front. They are not always very friendly or helpful, and they often seem unaware of vendor-specific sales or discounts. If you are interested in buying several items from one vendor and want to ask about a bulk discount, getting someone to contact the vendor can be a hassle. Checkout can also be slow, especially when items need to be wrapped or packaged. That said, the store itself is absolutely worth browsing if you have the time and patience. There are a lot of treasures to find--you just need to go in knowing that the shopping experience can be a little cumbersome once you are ready to buy.

She seems to want to be helpful to her customers and points out all the deals and special items - although I could see how this might come across as overbearing. She helped me find a cameo necklace after I inquired, which I ultimately passed on, but I appreciated that she took the time to show it to me. The signage for some of the deals is a little unclear. I overheard a customer pick up rings from the "buy four get one free" section and then be told that those rings weren't part of the sale... definitely very confusing. After several minutes of sorting through, I managed to find a pendant, a necklace, and two rings that I absolutely adore. The total was just under $15 which was a steal considering, upon further inspection, one of the rings ended up being 14k gold. I'll return!

I then received a call that None of my items were suitable for her store. It's funny because some of the items I purchased at her store. So I'm not sure why she did this. Are they going out of business or don't want to give you an estimate of what they will price an item at? Anyway, I wound up selling everything on Facebook marketplace at great prices and no commission fees.

Very trendy in an eclectic way; wide variety of 80's/90's stuff, some festival stuff, some totally out there/whimsical/gay pride/woodstock/retro vibe stuff. It was all in my ball park because I love wearing pieces that you don't see on everyone, so I liked just about everything there. The negative for me is the prices. Personally, a big reason I love thrifting is because I usually find them at a steal price at goodwill or in a cool thrift store off the beaten path, etc. which makes it such a cool experience. But when I go to a thrift store with higher prices it takes away from the experience for me a bit, I feel like I'm paying someone else to do the fun searching for me which can be okay too I guess. For example, I think a really cool T shirt with Tupac on it was $60 or something around there. There's just no chance I'd buy that. It's pretty on par price-wise with the other shops in the area though. I forgot to take pictures inside but I bought this cool shirt I'm wearing for $16.

This is usually the part of the city I head to when I want to stroll around and maybe do some vintage shopping/antiquing (don't judge me). Many who know me know that I have a weakness for 80s/90s and especially throwback clothing and accessories that remind me of my childhood. This is not something unique to me but I will say everyone who loves vintage will probably find something that they like or want here at SIX2SIX. My first time in I didn't get to spend as much time as I'd like but I plan on heading back soon when there are no errands to run and more time to spend drooling over their amazing selection. The store is very eclectic so you have to walk around to every section. They have articles and magazines, to comics, to clothing and furniture, to collectibles of every type. They even have coins and jewelry for sell. If you are tired buying gifts from the big department stores, I am sure you can find something unique, but personal, here. The staff is very friendly and customer service is #1. I thought the prices I saw were reasonable but I am sure they are open to negotiations. If you are in the area, this is definitely a cool place to check out.

This place is HUGE. I don't know how i missed it. Or the giant antique chair that's out front for you to take pictures in. So this is like one of those antique stores where there are boothes everywhere that people rent out and basically sell and the antique store gets a small cut and they pay rent to have a booth there. There must be upwards of 40+ booths/vendors. Probably more. Everything from antique furniture, antique medical stuff, decor, you name it. I ended up getting some gifts for friends and now that I've given the gifts, I can detail them. An agate container that I thought was cool. A broach in the shape of a person (almost art deco style) but decorated in almost a Native American/Latin style. I got a set of beautiful Japanese coasters in a nice container with I believe Iris' on the front. I also got a cute little Canada themed hourglass thing. Just a bunch of random stuff where I saw it, and was like, "oh I could see this person liking this." I can't wait to go back. I spent maybe an hour or so there, but I could have easily spent more time. The people at the front were really helpful opening up glass cases to see certain items though I will say (the amount of keys and cases they have is sort of aggressive) lol. A LOT of stuff is behind lock and key. Great store though. And legit DO NOT know how I missed this.

Second version that opened in Hampden recently (the one on Read St. has been around for more than a…read moreminute). A quiet, little shop that I wish had even more men's shirts and other clothing. Also has fresh (new) house and personal accessories. However, new clothing comes in/rotates quite often. I've been here twice and picked up long-sleeved pearl-button jean Wrangler and pineapple shirts; a Hawaiian short-sleeve Pierre Cardin shirt from the 60s-70s; and and a tan 80s sweater collar puffer vest (as the employee said, "It's back to the future"). Great place, great vintage. Worth the price!
