I have been seeing Dr. Heather & Dr. Amy for chiropractic care for over a year. It's made a…read moresignificant difference in my overall well being. I always look forward to spending time on their table because it makes such a huge difference in how my body feels. A few reasons I love Freedlunds: 1. I can get adjusted without the cracking and popping because I'm chicken and I'll yelp (no pun intended) when it happens. Buuut sometimes I need a good crack to release the tightness and Amy is your girl for that. 2. It's easy in and out. The wait is minimal and the adjustment is quick. If you're busy this is a great plus. 3. The atmosphere they provide is calm and caring. You really feel good being in their space. And you know they care about you. That's priceless. 4. They have a nutritionist, Carrie, that brings a whole other realm of wellness. I've done the brain span test and it's given me great info as to the health of my body & brain and what I could do about it. 5. They carry a very high quality line of supplements to support your wellness. It's chosen by Carrie and heather and you know it's vetted as effective and clean. And they are reasonably priced. 6. The ladies in reception are friendly and fun to talk to. 7. They have great hours that accommodate you no matter what your schedule. Great place. Great people. Great service. 100% recommend.

Trusting someone else with her care when I wasn't there was incredibly difficult. I worried whether anyone could care for her with the same patience, kindness, and respect that I would. Those worries disappeared much sooner than I ever expected because of the wonderful people at Heal To Thrive. The caregivers were dependable, kind, and highly skilled. They knew how to respectfully help my mom with the everyday tasks that had become difficult for her while always preserving her dignity and independence. Their experience gave me confidence that she was receiving excellent care. The caregivers and my mom (and me) became close in a short amount of time. They shared stories, ate meals together, and watched my mom's favorite TV programs. Mrs. Davis was an invaluable source of support for both my mom and me. She knew I was hesitant at first, but with her thoughtful guidance and professionalism, she quickly earned my trust. She helped me navigate situations I had never faced before, and her genuine care extended far beyond her role. Every caregiver we met was wonderful. Although I won't identify them individually to respect their privacy, I am deeply grateful for the kindness and care each of them showed my mom. Thank you, Heal To Thrive. ---Susan 2026

BIG SCAM!!! I saw a flyer and i thought I'll try. What Next Level Fat Loss at Rockford did not know…read moreis that I have a medical background with a lot of reading on nutrition and exercise. I lost 60 pounds before on my own and I have done all those tests of BMI, RMR,body fat percentage etc before and I know what they mean. However, i am at a stage where i do not feel like counting my calories and doing cardio at the gym since i have been really busy, so I wanted to get more info about Next Level before I go. I called a toll free number and the person kept stating that she does not know any answers but she can schedule me for a free consultation or a $27 test consultation. I said I need to know more so she finally gave me the main office number. I called the main office to get info but the receptionist said that the "Dr" will discuss the program with me at the free consultation. Even though I knew this sounded fishy, I thought I'll try anyway. When I called to confirm the appointment they kept pushing for the $27 testing consultation. I refused saying I need to know what the program is about, but they kept pushing for the $27 consultation again and again. Another BIG FAT WARNING to stay away, but i still gave them the benefits of the doubt. I got to the office and it looked cheap, far from a medical facility, with a cheap self made infomercial of people who successfully completed the program. First question I was asked, are you sure you do not want the $27 tests consultation. I said NO, I want to learn about the program. After waiting 15 minutes, the receptionist (wearing scrubs as if she is a medical assistant, maybe she is!?) called my name and told me that she will let me watch a video and then the "Dr" will discuss with me. When I asked so you have MD on staff, she said no all are chiropractors!! Another flag, but what the hell, MD are not the only health professionals that know weight loss. NOTE: MY OUTMOST RESPECT TO ALL HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS. EVERYONE FILLS A UNIQUE ROLE IN HEALTH CARE. I get into a small room, with two cheap seats and a medium flat TV on a cheap DVD player. She turns on the TV, closes the door, and let me watch this cheap half ars made infomercial of power point. Half an hour of useless half scientific info without any indication of what the program is based on (diet, calorie counting, vitamins, nutritional, medication bases, hormones?! Nothing). After half hour of misery, they escort me back to the lobby where they ask me, so do you want to sign up!!!! Seriously?! I tell her, so is this the free consultation? She said yes, but we can do the $27 test consultation. I refused saying how will that help me if I do not know what is your program. I started getting angry. She said well everyone is different and we will customize your program. As I got more frustrated, the "Dr" told her to take me to a room. In the room, I ask at least give me the price so I know what I am getting my self into. She replies its different for each person, just like the dentist, he can't tell you until he examines you. I said, that's not true, the dentist will give a range price for any service, so at least give me a range. At that moment the "Dr" comes in and I said this is not acceptable, you drag me all the way here, without at least explaining things to me. He rudely replies, sir I did not drag you, you came by yourself. WELL HELLO, YOU STAFF NEVER ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS AND KEPT PUSHING FOR ME TO COME IN!?! He said that he does not want to offer his services to me, and I said I would not want it anyway. I have to admit by then my voice was raised because I am getting one lie after another and they are not even apologetic. So he said close your mouth and leave the facility, I said I am leaving the facility but I am not closing my mouth and I will write reviews online about you. He said (please get ready to laugh) if you do I will get my lawyer involved!?! Haha. I said I can write online reflecting my experience, he said no because you never got my services. Well, here you go think he know it all tough chiropractor, here is a review, send me your lawyer!!! STAY AWAY. READ COMPLAINTS ON BBB. THEY ARE CHARGING PEOPLE 1500 FOR THIS PROGRAM AND ALL RESPONSES ARE MADE BY THEIR LAWYER, SO THEY EXPECTING BAD RESPONSES.

The most important thing about it is that it isn't a race but more of a spiritual journey (to me at least). I was able to tap into my inner being and push into the unknown. There were so many motivating people there especially the person who hypes you up before starting the run. The obstacles were amazing and definitely hard. The run itself was challenging but worth all the sweat I produced LOL. Parking was super easy and not congested (luckily). Finding the place was a bit confusing as the address provided takes you to the other side of the airport so you will want to make sure you check the signs and get there a bit earlier for your race (maybe get there an hour early to ensure no hiccups in finding the place. You will get very very dirty hence the name of the event. You will be challenged and pushed to the edge but it is worth it. The other mudders are there to help fallen folks and folks that require help getting over obstacles - I felt like there was a huge sense of community throughout the whole thing. All in all, I had an amazing time and the end of the race was the electric obstacle. I got shocked right in my butt and it took me down so be careful in making your decision LOL. Enjoy the ride and go for it :)
