A bunch of drugs that was causing blisters in my mouth so bad i could only drink liquids . Throat swelling the first neurologist told me don't eat foods or drink anything that aggravates it ! I go to RPM I'm desperate at this point what can I loose . They did some ultrasounds told me whatever I'm taking for inflammation it isn't working. Stop taking it . I also stopped taking pre gablin on my own because I was hating the side effects it was causing. I switched back to naproxen . I stopped cbd thc because it wasn't doing anything for pain and definitely wasn't helping with inflammation. The Otho ill pain clinic wouldn't renew my muscle relaxer since I was on one i. It was the same muscle relaxer I was on for decades it wasn't new . So with RPM my balance increased I was not relying on a cane all the time. And I had pain relief. No I wouldn't say I was even close to my old normal self prior to Covid. But I was able to pace myself to do some things I haven't done since June 2023 . It was a work in progress with multiple breaks. I need to contact them again.because January 23 2026 I was involved with a high speed vehicle impact . Things are popping up or not improving with the rice method. It sucks when I was making progress!

RPM took my situation seriously & got me in with a medical doctor who then prescribed a viable course of action which included physical therapy and chiropractic, & even cognitive theropy. I go to PT twice a week for stretching exercises, cognitive theropy for my brain trauma, then they spoil me with a massage & electrical stimulation to help me wind down after every session. Every time I walk out the door I feel like I've done something that was good for myself. My insurance, Medicare was gladly taken & I have have not gone broke during this process which I really Appreciate. Thank you Rockford Pain Management Jon Paul Agustsson

I went here in 2022 for assistance with weight loss and pain management for my knees. I told Dr…read more Cevene himself what my insurance would and would not cover, he was quick to brush off what I said and make everything seem doable. I was presented with a contract of sorts that mapped out what all he was suggesting I do through them. I agreed on this contact a total maximum amount I would pay out of pocket, I kept records of my payments made from my debit card. Applied payments to each appointment, I also had to keep track of appointments not to exceed the amount I was liable for. They kept making appointments past the date I would meet my maximum. I think this was done to make it to where I would be liable for more then I agreed to pay. Well like I told them my insurance did not cover injections to my knees, all through this process I made them aware that my insurance does not cover the injections, they kept saying it would all work out. After all my appointments, physicial therapy, injections and weight loss consults. Cevene pain management kept billing my insurance for the injections, this was back in 2022 it's now 2026 and they continue to bill my insurance. This place is resentless. In my opinion they are shady and just want to milk your insurance then you for services that should not have been done. If I knew then what I know now I would not have gone through with any treatment. I now can't even get the billing department to return my calls. RUN FROM THIS FACILITY.

Don't get too comfortable with this "doctor/specialist" for pain relief... Within a year she will…read moreyank the rug out from right under you. Flag YOU as the problem (as unwilling to try synthetic opioids you already tried in the past as the ONLY prescription pain reliever available, Tramadol, available from that point forward). Leaving you high-and-dry without ANY kind of pain relief what-so-ever and absolutely NO WHERE to turn. My insurance and I paid $HUNDREDS$ per MONTHLY visit for just a piece of paper on a less than 2 minute appointment every 30 days and $THOUSANDS$ for the first visit, including the urinalysis for illegal drug test as the ONLY test she will ever prescribe. I felt like a criminal, even though I was getting the very least opioid prescription available, per "MY" request. I've NEVER, EVER ran out early. Asked for MORE or INCREASED dosages. I've NEVER sold or used them any other way than EXACTLY as prescribed ONLY. I've NEVER used them any other way than the EXACTLY as prescribed, EVER! I walked into my appointment expecting what she had been doing the 9 monthly visits prior and was told, "There's nothing more I can do for you." And I was "DISMISSED". That is a HORRIBLE thing to do to someone with chronic, PROVEN by NUMEROUS tests, pain! I am given the boot to "fend for myself once again" without ANY kind of pain relief at all. It is truly cruel. Absolutely nothing but back to over-the-counter Tylenol, again. Now, I cry every single day from pain and frustration. I spend 23+ hours per day in my recliner. I can hardly walk. I have trouble sleeping. I have absolutely NO QUALITY of life left (this is NEVER going away, it's permanent.) and I just turned 50. I've been on permanent disability since the late 1990's and "THIS" is how I am treated. Like "I" am the problem. I truly do not understand. I have NO relationships or friendships other than a couple of family members because I can no longer do anything at all without experiencing embarrassing pain turning to shaking uncontrollably, then sweating BAD... All due to pain. I am now hoping and praying for a very shortened life-span since there is ABSOLUTELY NO QUALITY to it. Sad. Very sad. Save yourself the hassle and go someplace other than Rockford, Illinois, and definitely "THIS" useless "doctor". Had I known I would just get a few paper prescriptions, then "let-go", I'm not too sure I would have even bothered... Especially once I saw the bills! (She "said on many appointments" that what I was getting was really the only thing she could do for me, then... Contradicted every word of "that".) P.S. Be prepared to be treated just like a "herion junkie" by everyone from the receptionist to THIS doctor if you make the mistake of scheduling an appointment. Trust me, even if you've never ever even done anything illicit, you will still be treated as such. It's really quite awful, making matters even worse, if possible. (All the nurses were usually pretty decent.)

If you have chronic pain I'd suggest going anywhere else. I was forced to see this doctor because…read moremine had left the clinic. She asked me what she could do and I told her what I had been prescribed, she then interrogated me as to why I needed such strong meds. I explained to her why. She said I didn't need them and she doesn't prescribe them, then suggested a med I had already tried and it did not work for me. I told her that and she said flat out she doesn't prescribe that med out patient, nevermind the fact that that has been a part of my pain treatment plan for 15+ YEARS. Ended up telling her flat out that it sounds like we'd be wasting each others time. She told me to have my GP find a different provider and walked out, this interaction lasted less than 5 minutes. This doctor lacks any kind of bedside manner, compassion or the decency to care about the patient's quality of life. I never abused my meds and generally would only refill them twice a year as I only take them very rarely. I left in tears, defeated and frightened because I had to find a new doctor after I had been a patient in the clinic since 2003. A pain doctor should be the last person to question the severity of a patient's pain but that's the first thing she'll do.

Shameful practice. Dr Prunski has completely lost grip of Illinois PAIN and spine institute…read more I get it. You guys want to be all procedure and surgery based because that's where the MONEY IS. There's no money in feeding people $3.99 bottles of pills (I checked. That's what they pay for them. The price you see on the sticker is a lie) $20 for a month of medicine. Or having someone come in four times a year for $4000 injections. I am not injection compatible. My pain is in deep nerves that require a specialized team. A team that UIC will be assembling. A team that UIC has ready. The registration desk people were the nicest people as were the nurses. The physicians here? They have no bedside manners and they don't care that they don't care about you. If you aren't "their kind" of patient read: someone ready to drop boats of money on dubiously effective procedures. Dr Prunski, wake up. Start Managing PAIN. Or at the least stop making a joke of your office and change the name. Illinois SPINE institute. You guys don't want to deal with chronic regional pain syndrome or fibro or anything complex.
