They have also waited until I was nearly around the corner facing the doctor before saying "Dr. *****" is working. With skeletal issues that should be handled with care and compassion; I cannot afford to allow this clinic to further harm me. Update: The day this review was written there the app showed doctors at all surrounding The Joint Chiropractic. This location, although open, displayed no doctors name. I have searched their social media high and low for schedule only to get one ever few months. Since this post this clinic has since started showing their schedule.

Our family practitioner recommended Upper Cervical Care Center/1st step chiropractic. It was 1.5 to 2 hours drive one way to this office, but I still made the appointment and am glad I did. We saw Dr. Orem in May, 2018. She took low dose digital X-rays and went over the X-rays with me. The family member with cyclic vomiting syndrome, (P), had a misalignment that was eleven degrees and Dr. Orem said the typical misalignment is two degrees. The first adjustment was, (thankfully), done the same day as the X-rays. Dr. Orem called the next day to check and see how P was doing. Six days later P experienced a very mild, very brief vomiting episode, and we came back for another adjustment that Friday. P started having hot flashes and insomnia so I drove to Rockford for adjustments twice per week, (and that stopped the insomnia and hot flashes). I noticed that P's bowel movements were becoming more regular and formed, without any dietary changes. We had P adjusted 12 times over a nine week period, and then we just couldn't handle the drive anymore. P is now with a different practitioner, however, we miss everything about Dr. Orem, Dr. Schalow and this practice. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, and Dr. Orem was very patient and calm with pediatric patients, (and a nervous mother). The prices were reasonable as well. I can not recommend this practice enough. For the first time in years, I feel my family has found healing and that is nothing short of a miracle. We have also enjoyed over nine weeks without any vomiting, and I expect that to continue. I am so grateful.
