First, I make specialty paint for airplanes as a living. I'm the guy who can spot used cars that "never had an accident" due to the repaint not being flawless. So when I started getting quotes for my repaint, I was pretty much accepting that my baby would be scarred for life and never look the same. You see, the reason it's easy for us car enthusiasts to see when even a good repaint fails the mark is because of something called "haze". Even if we hit the impossible on matching the gloss, surface texture, and specialty effects like mica or flake, but you miss the haze, then it's noticeable to us. As a note, the haze is a measure of how "true" or "rich" the color is once it's all cured. Is it cloudy or do the colors pop out at you kinda thing. I wanted to repaint a door and rear quarter. What's worse, it was the driver's side. So I'm seeing it every time I get in. My issue: I have a gorgeous Tesla with a high-end factory paint job that had a metallic flake effect. Pretty much an impossible ask to begin with; and then toss in that it was for someone proud of their car like me. But let me tell ya, it came out flawless! Hell, they even matched the flake and peel effects. No idea how. All with the lowest of three bids. Lastly, this Rudy fellow is the real deal. Great staff, but he himself called me the evening I dropped off the car. He understood I was going to be a tough customer to please, but there was something about him. He was confident and that's what made me choose RP. So if you need the impossible, don't even mess with the other quotes. This is my place from here on.

After the issues I had with the original work, Dario reached out to me personally and asked me to bring the car back so they could take another look and rework the areas I wasn't happy with. I brought the Jaguar back, went over everything with them, and they took the time to address the concerns properly. They corrected the issues with the hood and paintwork, cleaned up the areas that had been missed, and made sure I had an opportunity to inspect the car before everything was finalized. What impressed me even more was that they didn't stop there. They went above and beyond and took care of several areas that weren't even part of the original work. They addressed additional imperfections around the car, repaired and refinished the mirrors, and put extra effort into getting the overall appearance of the car back where it should be. The difference is significant, and the finished result speaks for itself. I've attached updated photos showing how the car looks now. Mistakes can happen with any business. They kept bringing me back to the shop for three months, only for the insurance company to ultimately deem the vehicle unsafe to drive and a total loss. I took the car to Crash Champions a second time, following the insurance company's instructions, to give them an opportunity to correct their mistake two months into this ordeal. Instead of fixing the problem, the shop attempted to conceal what had become an irreparable issue. During this attempt, my service writer called to update me, and I asked directly if I'd be satisfied with the work this time. Her response was that if I didn't like it, I could just bring the car back in. That shouldn't be the standard. Repairs should be done right the first time. Getting basic updates was a struggle the entire time. I'd call and be told the person I needed was in a meeting or at lunch, with hours passing and no callback. Twice I drove to the shop in person just to check on the status. What's worse, they tried to give the car back to me multiple times when it wasn't even safe to drive, putting myself and my family at risk. It was clear their team wasn't capable of handling this level of repair, and each "fix" was more of a band-aid than a real repair. After the third failed attempt, the manager, Ray, called to apologize. Instead of taking responsibility, he blamed the service writer, calling her "too green," despite the fact that she wasn't the one doing the actual bodywork or paint. He then offered to repair the car again and personally cover my rental and repair costs, basically asking to handle it outside of insurance. I declined. This experience was exhausting from start to finish. Crash Champions seems built around quick, low-cost patches instead of proper repairs or evaluations, and in my case their negligence cost me months of my time, immeasurable stress, and potentially worse had I not taken my car elsewhere for a second opinion and found out the vehicle was unsafe.

If I could give Marc 10 stars, I would do that in a heartbeat. If it weren't for Marc, this would not be 5 stars. We picked up our 2016 4Runner after a completed paint job the first time when Marc wasn't there. Although the color match and general look was attractive in the depth of RED that we wanted, it was on a dirty car! The windshield, the bumper, all the black trim was nasty looking - not cleaned. The inside cargo area was laden with red 'dust'. Overall, we were picking up a dirty car with pretty paint. But Marc wasn't there. It took many weeks of waiting to get our car back and the return was very disappointing. The 'stand in' whose name I can't remember, said to bring it back when Marc was there since we had issues. So - we did. On the second return, Marc was excellent and professional as the very first time we met with him. He listened to every issue we had and wrote them all down. Every detail was gone over together with him. He was polite, understanding, accepting and apologetic. We left the 4Runner with him for further detail and we added a black package to enhance the original paint job and make it stand out, looking new. Again, we missed our 4Runner for weeks, as a partial re-paint was needed! When it was ready, we were excited to see it again. Standing in the driveway as we arrived the second time, our amazing RED 4RUNNER was a stunning beauty. And I mean STUNNING! We had selected a red color with triple application of paint to give the red a depth to matchd our second car, a Cadillac. Brilliant red - beautiful. The black package made it stand out as a new car! I had tons of questions, multiple scenarios I wanted quotes for, and then more questions on top of that. Marc (said he was the manager), was so extremely professional and patient with every single question I had (and believe me there were a lot). I got four other quotes before I decided to go with the quote Marc gave me. Along with the promotion that was going on at the time Maaco had given me the best price that had all the options I wanted. The timeframe they gave me for the work needed was extremely reasonable and they beat it by a day or two. When I went to pick up the car, there were several other clients there who were admiring the paint color. Macco was able to color match the vehicle beautifully. The body work was also done very nicely and I was very happy with it. Based on my experience, I would 100% recommend this shop. The entrance and the lobby is very handicapped, friendly. They have handicapped parking right in front. The shop is located in a business center, so there is a lot of business traffic (trucks pulling in and out around the area), but not so much that you are stuck there.
