When I asked their answer was that it is just routine practice, and if I go against their routine practice( not let them do what they want) I should go some place else; however, this unnecessary radiation exposure to my children and Bluffdale Dental routine practice should had been explained to us before it was done to my children and not after the fact. I also asked how often children gets panoramic x-ray the doctor said about every 5 years ( assistant said every 3 to 5 years) then I asked if they had requested dental records to see last time it was done since my children are new to them( their first visit) they said NO! this is so unacceptable! what if the other dentist got this done recently; Bluffdale dental did not care enough to know this information to protect my children against unnecessary radiation exposure which can be harmful to their health. Not a sincere apology or any effort to understand the client's point of view. I am devastated. As far as the visit went my children were very impressed with how well the staff treated them.

When I showed up to my appointment I was met by Dr. Proctor who was apparently a few years out of dental school. I had to laugh and I explained to him I asked for the seasoned dentist upfront due to my fear of all things dentistry and wished us both luck. He was AWESOME! His personality is hilarious. He would joke when I needed a joke. Made me feel comfortable from minute one. We are many appointments, fillings and crowns in and he is still my all time favorite dentist and I've had many in my nearly sixty years. My permanent crown today went on so perfectly I was in and out in no time . Thank you Taylor for assisting ,you were great too. I'm so happy I just had to leave a review! And he would only refer me to a very VERY expensive oral surgeon that required upfront payment of $2700 to pull my infected tooth. So, unable to afford that, I lived with it for another year and a half while it caused me much further suffering and pain. I finally found a qualified dentist who was willing to do the extraction for a mere $40 - at The Denture Company Boise. He was very kind and very fast. Helped me on the very same day I went in. Do yourself a favor and AVOID White Pine Dental at all costs. Their X-rays and referrals cost me MORE than the other dentist who actually DOES the work. The BBB should shut White Pine down.

Did not take a history. I don't think he even read my chart or any of the paperwork I filled out prior. Did not give information regarding future care, or what I should be doing for myself. I could hear him berating other patients and staff. As a type 1 diabetic I already brace for medical professionals to be misinformed and judgemental when I step into their office, and I was still so incredibly floored by how poor his bedside manner was. Even as a regular human being this man was incredibly unkind. Dentistry is already one of the most expensive and daunting forms of medical care, especially in America. There is a huge power dynamic and at no point did I feel comforted or relieved that this man was caring for me. It was also incredibly expensive and seemed very shady. For being someone who has chosen to be a carer for people in vulnerable situations it truly seems that he takes pride in creating even more barriers for patients. I am so disgusted with this entire experience. And after reading these other reviews I am not the only one. Please do so so so much better.

My last visit I saw Dr. Wright, who is a newer dentist that Dr. Singh has mentored and she is very good as well. She has a very calming disposition and soft touch. I highly recommend going to Salt Lake Dentistry. You won't be disappointed! I have never reviewed a dentist before as I do not like goi g to the dentist, but I will admit my experience here has been very good!

I do recommend them 100% I don't feel pressured at all to get services done either. Their teeth cleaning is good. They don't polish your teeth like other offices I have been to in the past. Maybe I need to ask but over all good cleaning. I had root canal done and dr. Patch was very gentle and kind allowed for breaks if needed. They do give you option to watch Netflix during your procedure. Which is cool if you need a distraction. And they give complimentary facials after cleaning. Also call for correct office hours. I don't think they have updated their website. Dr. Patch is the dentist there not the one on their website.

I started coming here about 9 months ago. I worked at a facility with children with mental health complications, it was a group home. I was assaulted by one of my students and broke two of my teeth. I had to have a crown put on one and a tooth pulled, an implant placed and then the new crown put on the implant. When I first started coming to Riverton Dental it was great. They helped me immensely with Workmans Comp. I called them when everything first happened and they said they had worked with Workmans comp before. They did a majority of the work at Riverton Dental, I had my Implant placed at Salt Water Dental. Mandi told me that those offices work together when implants are placed. I loved Salt Water Dental. They are beyond kind there, I even confided in Dr. Jensen about what was going on at Riverton Dental. He apologized on their behalf and asked me to give them another chance. That he goes from Salt Lake to Riverton Dental for his work and wouldn't go anywhere else. Come to find out the reason he was telling me this is because is he the owner of both Riverton Dental and Salt Water Dental. Now getting to the real issues. Lindsay called me Monday the 17th to make an appointment to get the crown placed on my implant for Wednesday the 19th of February, I asked her if she had any sooner appointments because I was beyond excited and she said no, I asked her to call me if she had any cancelled appointments because I live close to the office and would like to get in ASAP. She was kind and told me yes. Wednesday came and I got a call first thing in the morning, I thought they were calling me to tell me to come in early. It was Mandi. She was letting me know that she was not going to place the crown because my workman's comp had not paid her. She was not able to get ahold of him and they were not calling her back. I ended up asking her to give me workman's comp phone number and I called and they picked up first ring. We ended up three waying Mandi, he let her know that she had not sent in any of the bills and if she sent him the bills he would get a check out the same day for they to place the implant. She thanked him and hung up. I called Mandi back. She still said she is not going to place the crown until she got payment and a few other things she said to me that was uncalled for was "Its your fault that insurance has not paid me, they are your insurance and your problem not mine." another thing, one of my teeth were in the process of decaying, so I think that is one of the reasons it broke as easy as it did but she said "We both know that break didn't happen at work and you are lucky that workman comp is paying for that" if you work for a dental office why would you say something like that? I didn't even get an apology for it. Just so that she knows everything that happened to me is a video tape at my work and they can see it broke my teeth. We had great video cameras and they took pictures after and sent them to my "insurance" I fully recommend Dr Jensen at Salt Water, however I do not recommend Riverton Dental. I ended up going to a different office to have the implant placed. That office was great. They were the one that told me more about what was going on Riverton Dental and how many complaints they are getting. We actually had a conference call with Dr. Jensen. He ended up releasing the tooth to the new dental office. He did say a couple things that stood out to me that was a little bit upsetting. He said "We need to give her the tooth and put this down as a bad experience and cut ties" He is a great dentist but he needs to know what is going on in his other offices. If it was me as the owner I would want to know what was going on. Mandi did tell me as well if I wrote this review that she was going to "challenge" the review. She can try to challenge the review but what I know what my experience was.

I have a tendency to gag, so I kept pushing her hand away to get some air and wipe my wet mouth. She said if I keep pushing her hand away she will end the cleaning. Then she tells me to raise my hand if a problem occurs afterwards. I never got my teeth polished she said the machine doesn't work. She did a beautiful job cleaning my teeth and gave me a generous goody bag. Overall, the Hygienist was friendly and was knowledgeable except for that one rude incident.

The next is when you gps to their location it will say they are closed which makes you nervous that they are closed. Their website online will also say they are closed as well. So when you drive there you are wondering if you are gonna end up at a closed dentists. they are closed Fridays so if you have a Saturday appointment and need to reschedule you must do it 2 days in advance. Cross your fingers nothing comes up Friday. When I was getting my teeth cleaned the process was un organized. They would say they needed to get the x ray machine then 10 mins later a new person shows up with no xray. They kept leaving me hanging. The whole thing just seems messy.

Basically I picked Dr. Suekawa because his office is near my house and they're listed on my…read moreinsurance as a network provider. While this certainly could have turned out badly, seeing as I had nothing to go on, I am very pleased with Dr. Suekawa and his staff. I was feeling trepidacious about going as I had not been to the dentist in ages and was quite embarrassed about that fact (and the longer I waited the more embarrassed I became so the less I wanted to go...). It's quite a ridiculous situation to find yourself in but from looking online it seems that it's not all that uncommon. Anyways, their office is somewhat small (it's a suite in an office building) but it's very pleasant and clean and it is, after all, only for one dentist so it's the perfect size I'm sure. Also, there is a VERY nice selection of current magazines which sounds silly to mention but I always hate finding 5 year-old magazines in an office when you've forgotten something to read. I forget the hygienists name but she's very nice and friendly and certainly seems to know what she's doing. Dr. Suekawa is also friendly and quite gentle. All three of my visits so far have been very positive and I believe that Dr. Suekawa is a very good dentist since he managed to clean up my mouth. If he can do that I'm sure that the usual 6-month checkup is a piece of cake! I did have to have a couple of cavities done (one was a redo of a very old cavity) and while I can't say I enjoyed it (who would?) I AM glad to have it done and Dr. Suekawa did a great job with those as well. Most importantly, no-one made me feel like an idiot over the fact that it had been so long since I'd seen a dentist - something I really appreciate as I already felt like an idiot on my own. I will definitely continue to see Dr. Suekawa on a regular basis for all my checkups/cleanings and such.
