We opted to have her for the full planning, though, and are so happy we did! I work full time and my fiancee goes to school full time, and both of our families live out of state, so we definitely needed Jaimee to keep us on track and help us with all the steps (and there are a ton of steps!) leading up to our big day. She set us up with all of our amazing vendors, keeps track of all the details-even the ones I never knew about, and has been just awesome to work with. I can't wait for the wedding (June 2014) and will update my review after it honeymoon so I can rave about Jaimee and Muse some more. UPDATE: The wedding was fantastic! She helped us find our photographer, florist, dj, linens, and so much more. Jaimee even took care of some of the large DIY projects herself! We e-mailed and/or texted nearly every day. She kept us on track on making decisions and getting DIY stuff done. She found vendors for us to meet with (at least 3 of each) so that we could make the most informed decision. Not only did she help us get comfortable with the information we needed, she also helped us draw the line around what NOT to worry about because it was in her very capable hands. She was such a godsend when it came to stepping in with vendors or chasing down vendors that weren't as responsive as she was. She made sure we planned for details so many couples forget, like making breakfast plans for the day-of, and how to build in "couples' breaks" throughout the wedding festivities so my new husband and I were able to enjoy connection that was just for the two of us that day. But then there's the whole Megan-ness of it all. She's hilarious, bright, creative, and still VERY calming. We didn't really see much of her the day-of, as she beautifully moved through the spaces bringing together our vision and keeping all of the vendors on track. When I say we had the PERFECT wedding, I can say it with the confidence of an older bride who has not only attended her fair share of weddings, but has also planned her own wedding back with her first marriage. In the year leading up to our wedding day, Cassie provided a high quality of services including periodic check-ins and to-do lists to help us stay on track, multiple venue walkthroughs, logistical communication with vendors, and leading our rehearsal. Throughout this period, Cassie brought to our attention many tiny details that could have spiraled into a bigger problem if there was no one to point it out to us -- including making sure tables were an adequate size, how various elements would need to move across the space during a room transition to avoid problems or delays, and various aspects of cleanup and takedown we hadn't accounted for -- and suggested helpful solutions. By our wedding day itself, Cassie had made sure every vendor knew exactly when and where they were needed. This meant that absolutely no one came to me or my wife with questions or problems. Even when the zipper of my dress ripped completely open and I thought everything was going to be a disaster, Cassie and her assistant were able to keep me calm and collected while we waited for the necessary help to arrive. If this hangup affected the schedule of the day, or if our vendors faced any other issues throughout the event, my wife and I were kept blissfully unaware. If I had to do it all over, we would absolutely hire Cassie and her team again. In fact, we'd probably upgrade our package to get even more of her expert help.
