I LOVED using this service. We had a 2-bedroom apartment that required 40+ boxes and the cost of buying disposable ones + labor of "building" them would have been a huge hassle in comparison to this. The delivery was on time, and everything was clean and super handy. They even give you labels and some essentials with the package we chose. I also really enjoyed that with renting we had a "time limit" of sorts to encourage us to unpack. Normally we sit around boxes for weeks (some months!) so this pushed us to get it done over a week and it was the best decision. We are much more quickly settled into the space. The team was so pleasant and lovely to work with. We realized we needed a few more days to unpack and they extended our time for a reasonable fee without any issues. I can't say enough great things about this company and Mike! 1st off the booking process is so easy, they are in constant contact with you so you are aware every step of the way. With each box rental you get packing paper and labels. My only wish was just a few more Fragile labels. Only got 4 with my 40 box rental. Because the boxes are stackable and sturdy it made the movers job easier when it came time to load the truck. It actually motivated me to unpack faster because the boxes were getting picked up and in turn I got settled into my new home faster. It's never fun to move, but Simply Box'd did help make it a little easier. The crates are an amazing way to pack up because your stuff feels secure in them. Plus the uniform boxes really help in loading up a moving truck. And they are cleaner than cardboard boxes too. The other thing I love about this service, is that the short term rental means that you have to unpack in a certain amount of time. No boxes sitting around for months or years. Really helps speed things along. Mike was very helpful and was so nice to deliver our crates a day earlier than I originally booked. He was excellent to work with. This was an awesome idea. It cost about the same as moving boxes would have and was so much easier. They arrived on time and the pickup was the same. My only complaint is that I didn't know about this for previous moves. All of the boxes were in good condition and clean. The best thing we did for our recent move! Not only did we not have to deal with building and breaking down cardboard boxes, but we felt secure in knowing that our personal items were all in crates that would not collapse. I LOVE reusable moving boxes and have used them for my last few moves. Compared to cardboard they are easier to stack and carry, more structurally sound, and no packing tape required! It's also great to not have to deal with breaking down and recycling. Simply Box'd in particular was a great company to work with. We used them for our move in June. We move often and hate dealing with cardboard. The process of taping them up and breaking them down is annoying, not to mention all the waste that it incurs. We actually had a quote for a full service move and what they were charging for the boxes and materials were comparable. Packing was so much easier this time around. Just throw everything in that fits and close the lid. The crates are also much thicker than cardboard boxes so we didn't use any bubble wrap. We just used the packing paper they provided and used towels or blankets as buffers. Our movers were also able to stack the crates easily and I think that helped with moving us quickly. Mike just picked up our 50 boxes after a very stressful move. Basically, the only thing that went right for us was our box rental. Between our movers not showing, finding a gas leak at our new house, and my husband throwing his back out mid-move, we were struggling.
