Visited Ocean City, MD and found this wonderful pet boarding / Day care service…read more Once arrived in OC, we quickly realized that beach is off limits for dogs during peak season and restaurants do not allow dogs indoors due to MD state law. Our hotel provided the information brochure. Made a phone call and they were kind enough to book us for the same day appointment. Drop off starts from 7:30AM - 11AM. Pick up is before 7PM. Proof of vaccination is required to board your pet and cash payment of $30-40 per day. Frances who greeted us at the door was absolutely wonderful. He made it easy for us to leave our dog with him and enjoy the day. Tamara who was there for the evening shift was pretty awesome. There were few dogs and 2 cats already but, most of them were pretty calm and friendly. There were several separated areas for pets to sleep in. Ample space for visiting pets to be playful and stay comfortable. Will be sure to visit again if we travel with a pet in the future.

Since that time, we have called upon Valerie to cat sit for short trips as well as extended vacations. She has always been able to fit us in, even during busy holiday times. Moreover and perhaps more importantly, our cat seems to be happy upon our return. We have found the Comfy Pets rates to be quite reasonable, too. We typically opt for a 15 minute visit on one day, followed by a longer visit (for more playtime with the cat) on the following day. Valerie always puts together an explicit contract which lays out fees/expectations. Again, I think this speaks to her high degree of professionalism and work ethic. She also gives us an update or two about our cat while we are gone, and we've loved this extra bit of information as it helps put us at ease! It can be hard leaving your pet, but please know that Valerie is fantastic and trustworthy. I highly recommend her!

She has a lot of hair, it's not matted, but there's just a LOT of it. She's usually pretty easy but it takes a long time to do her grooming because there's so much hair. Glad to FINALLY have found someone who cuts her hair the right way! She gets her ears cleaned and nails trimmed. The place is clean, quiet and uncomplicated. No drama at the front desk. Just a lot of puppies greeting you upon arrival !
