On the day before the appointment I had to reschedule, they were very nice and were able to move it just one day. It made my day that it wasn't a huge hassle to move the appointment. I've had lift up concrete lifting work on two dirrerent properties over the last few weeks. Their…read moreprocess is simple; they drill holes through a concrete slab with a hammer drill until the drill hits the dirt below. Then, they pump a grout mixture from a mobile hopper through a 3" flexible rubber hose which is connected to a grout gun. The tip of the gun is inserted into one of the pre drilled holes and then the technician strategically inserts grout into each of the holes, raising the slab a bit at a time until the desired grade is reached. On one set of sunken and tilted stairs on one of my jobs, they raised one side up a total of five inches. The job they did saved me a considerable cost over what replacing the steps and sidewalk pads would have costs. And they get the job done in just a couple of hours. I'll certainly contact Lift Up again for any future concrete pad leveling work.

And at this point you're all for that, cause who know how long it would take to get him back out there. Then he will go back to being your best friend and asking you for the remaining balance which he has never told you the accurate amount. Your many request for an invoice will be met with him asking if he can just come pick up a check? And after sending you a picture of the original quote (which you already have a copy of) you will just want to get it over with. Then when he offers to "knock $50 off the total" (which I guess only God knows what the actual total is) you finally just cave and cut the man a check just to wash your hands of this mess that is Fence 4 U.
