After I checked in at the desk, it was a matter of just a few minutes, and I was escorted to a consultation room. A very nice nurse came in and took my stats and asked me some probing questions about why I was there, and what my expectations were. She was so nice, and informative and said the Dr would be in shortly to talk to me about pros and cons of the surgery I was think of having. Dr Rueben came in and examined me. We had a nice chat about what the surgery would entail, and the pros and cons. I didn't fill rushed, and he answered my questions in depth. The nurse came back in with two price options. I could go home and think about it, or I could book surgery now, since he is booked several months out. There is a $500 deposit to book a date. I decided to think about scheduling a date right now since this is an elective surgery, and it needs to be paid in full before any surgery will be performed.

The surgical suite belongs to the clinic was attached to it. I'm a former pre-op nurse and know how most hospitals do this process. Not here though - comfortable room, sitting in a chair instead laying on a gurney, not just a hospital gown but a robe also. After surgery I woke up in a comfortable recovery room with a pleasant & knowledgable nurse. 4 hrs after I arrived I was on my way home. I felt well taken care of & pampered. I had purchased a package for Brazilian waxes, but stopped using the remaining services because the ingrown hairs and irritation were progressively getting worse after each appointment. I contacted the location several months ago and was refunded for the unused portion of the package, but not for the services that ultimately left me dealing with a painful skin condition, medical expenses, discomfort, stress, and scarring. I followed proper aftercare, tried their recommended products, stopped shaving/waxing, and used multiple methods to try to resolve the issue, but the condition continued. I understand that folliculitis and ingrown hairs can be a known risk of waxing and that reactions vary from person to person. However, I wish I had been better informed about the potential severity and persistence of these complications, especially for people with sensitive skin or those prone to ingrown hairs. I'm sharing my experience so others can make informed decisions and monitor symptoms early if they begin experiencing similar issues. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
