This was the second time I had the 'misfortune' to use a body shop, through no fault of my own. To say I received stellar service, personal and professional, from both Dom & Paul would be a gross understatement. I am, quite frankly, more than impressed. Two different cars, different issues and both jobs were completed to my utter delight. The first generated about $3K more for a trade after they performed miracles on concrete splashes that had dried and were embedded in the paintwork. The car was 14 years old and came back as good as new. The most recent, was a minor mishap with a concrete pillar. I took delivery of the vehicle yesterday and was floored to find that they had even detailed the interior of the car as well as making the 'mishap' as good as new. The car was in 'just delivered' showroom condition. Thanks Dom, Paul and entire crew. I am a fan, no question and would most highly recommend to anyone. Friends and family included. Keep it up guys. My insurance company recommended I go there to repair a broken window caused by an attempted break-in. The work seemed fine at first, but I later discovered that the wiring and vapour barrier weren't installed properly. Bad workmanship. Would not recommend. read more

They do not honour their own dealership warranty. Bought two cars from them and when one needed a small rust repair they refused outright to honour their warranties contract. The contract clearly covered the rust damaged area but they claimed that the dealership (not a third party) contract was signed by someone not currently on the premise. Do not buy from Nissan Morningside or get you vehicle repaired by then. A warning to all! read more

These horrible people put my kids and I out of a vehicle taking our car for over!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10 months, in 3 different Simplicity locations and closing one of their own while my car was there in Aurora. Put us in 7-9 different rentals which all together with their false promises and lies had me miss almost a full month of work in a year. Gave us back the car not once, but twice very unsafe, the last garage they sent me to is one that deemed my car unsafe and then also had to fix the other unsafe work done to it by East York Simplicity Car Care. Then when we were told it's all finally done! Had car two days with error codes. I told President Domenic Ieraci and he said "oh my I have kids I'm so sorry, call me tomorrow and we'll get this fixed". HE BLOCKED MY PHONE NUMBER. I called him back from a blocked number. I started talking and he hung up on me. Yet! They promote helping sick kids hospital, but put my kids in harms way, along with many others in my unsafe vehicle. I was recently in a minor fender bender. Our insurance company advised getting the car checked out in case there was hidden damage. They recommend Prochilo Brothers (bda Simplicity). I called and set up an appointment, explaining where the damage was, and that our insurance company had advised bringing it in to see if there was damage not easily seen. When I went in, they only took pictures of the outside, explaining they didn't have someone available to take off the bumper to see if there was more damage. Then in the quote they sent to the insurance company they said "Client was in a hurry could not take off bumper. May require additional parts once dismantled." This is a straight up lie, and all the more galling that the day before I had asked how long it would take, and so was prepared with things to work on. I am not going to trust a company who lies to me about little things to work on my car. read more

This is for Simplicity of Thornhill: I had badly scraped my quarter panel and was dreading getting it fixed. After a few quotes, I came to this shop and dealt with Kirk during the whole time. I am pleased to say the repair was superb! They also touched up all the numerous chips and scrapes on my 17 yr old car, which was not included on previous quotes. Kirk also brought to my attention some emerging rust and a loose heat shield that started to rattle and had offered to fix at a very nominal cost. The final detailing inside and out was a nice touch, and all the tips I got for maintaining my aging car was much appreciated. In the end, I felt like was in good hands with someone I can trust. They are thieves. For a really small scratch on the door they replaced our OEM windshield which was worth $2500 with a cheap one. At first they tried to say it was cracked from the accident but then changed the story to, it cracked while we were fixing the little paint scratch. The reason they got away with stealing an OEM part of our car is they made us sign a paper that says they are not responsible for any damages happen to vehicle while in their shop, which they use as excuse to steal expensive parts of your car. Simple bumper replacement turned into me having to come back 4 times. Paint peeling, forgot to replace a piece, crack in my windshield! They also used my truck as storage (I guess) because they left wrappers and broken parts in my trunk which caused damage to the items I had left in my trunk. Customer Service was on point. Clean place, great service but overly expensive without needing to be. The staff was extremely helpful. They opened up the car, let us know what they needed to fix and how they will achieve that. Unfortunately, the fix and the quote was unnecessary and the quote was very high. They offered to look for after an off the market bumper since we had a bumper fender. The bumper itself was worth ~$200 but the quote came to $2600 which is outrageous to know that they will need over 20 hours to attach a new bumper. Even when they first offered the quote, I voiced my opinion on the cost and the staff ensured they will do what they can to make sure the price remains low. With no other choice, we looked for another body shop and they broke down what they needed to fix and a much lower quote. It was questionable the difference in quotes and procedures in how to fix the car. This time, the body shop suggested they can fix the bumper itself. In the end, the bumper looked amazing when fixed and took a shorter time as well. read more

Dom & Paul (and Esteban) were incredible. These guys know customer service. I've taken my car to a different body shop when I first needed a body touch-up. After a round of terrible service (and over priced!), I decided to follow up on a referral to Prochilo Brothers. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! Put it this way. I had my bumper damaged in an accident two months ago. At the OLD place, it cost me $1600 for the fix (and after a lot of hassle and mis-starts). With Prochilo Brothers, I had to fix the same bumper again, plus the side panel of my car, my rim and a replacement tire. That cost only $2400. Not only did they come in under MY estimated cost for the repair, they fully explained the processes they would use and the timeline expected. They communicated with me throughout the process via email. Yes. That's right. A body shop communicating via email. An incredible SMOOTH experience as they completely liaised with my insurance company as well. This is one experience that I'll be sharing with everyone I know looking for body work in the city. read more

wish I read the reviews before making the decision to take my car in for repair. first, there's zero customer service. Enterprise Car rental were left in the dark and kept on asking me for some sort of authorization?? first time this was asked ever on a collision insurance claim. first night I took home my car; I notice my battery is charged higher than normal. I keep track of this and found this not normal. I'll be reaching out to survey the car mechanics making sure all is in order. secondly, the small buttons for keyless entry has been glued back on. now pressing the button does not register anything making this entry pad useless. third, the interior door handle was put back loosely. not sure if missing a clip or their technician broke off a plastic clip. it's manageable but I began to poke around. I notice at the front bumper, the plastic shield was not re-installed properly after replacing the front bumper. now its just hanging down to the ground. overall, no customer service, no apology; it's like the staffer is running out on fumes. I am not sure what to do now, I'm thinking of getting my car fixed elsewhere and billing the Greenwood location the costs. even if I have to go through small claims. which is avoidable through auto insurance, but I will never take my car back there again. oh and they owe me a steel rim that's "back ordered". but they billed my insurance regardless. Holy cow, unbelievable service. My car was hit in the same place, on two different occasions. Strange, but true. The first time, I took it to the place my old insurance company recommended. I thought they were "OK," but I had to wait two days extra, as they made a small mistake in the paint and then in fixing that problem, they caused another one. Their shop was what I thought all shops looked like; messy, grimy, lots of dead cars lying about. 3 months later, my car was hit again, in nearly the exact same spot. The same part needed to be replaced. Prochilo was not only 40% less in cost, they greeted me in clean uniforms, a floor one could eat off of, and a very light, cheery, and happy atmosphere. They had my rental car there and ready to go (the other place had me take the TTC to the rental provider). The rental car was gassed up and clean. What really blew me away was that I received an email a couple hours after drop off telling me what all needed to be done, and what to expect. I received another email end of day telling me what needed to be done. Every day for four days, I received an email at end of day providing the status of my car. I had a question about OEM vs third party tires, and Dom spent quite a bit of time explaining how I was getting the same tire, but because Hyundai doesn't make the tires, they cannot be called "OEM." They simply answered every question clearly, easily, and professionally. Everything was so transparent. When I went to get my car, it was beautifully polished, vacuumed out, and shiny. When I picked up my car from the other place, it was rain-spotted and dirty except for where they'd fixed their mistake, and they'd polished it up so I'd be sure to see they'd fixed the error. I felt like a rockstar with Prochilo. I was so impressed, I brought my motorcycle in to have some body work done. Prochilo was actually less expensive than the motorcycle shop I've been using for the past year! I can't say enough good about Dom and Paul. The *only* thing that wasn't 110% perfect was when Dom called me from Paul's phone and I got confused about who was calling me. :) Super impressed, super amazed, and recommending this place to all my friends. read more

They welcomed us in to the shop and spent a significant amount of time explaining the what/why/how of our repair. They answered every question with extreme detail and really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and confident with them. They really came through when there were some discrepancies with the repair and made sure to get everything sorted out on our behalf while totally minimizing any stress to us. Took my Escape there for a minor repair to the passenger door. Not an insurance claim - paid out of pocket. Was told the repair would take 3-days. When I dropped off the car they said it would take 4.5 days. It took two full weeks to get my car back. After a week and a half, I was told the repairs were done, but it was now waiting to be detailed. It took 3 more days for them to clean the car??? E-mails to them over that 3-day cleaning period were not returned. I was told I'd get a phone call on Friday when the car was ready. At the end of the day, I hadn't received a call. So I called them again -- "Oh yes, your car is ready". Thanks for letting me know!!! read more

AWESOME SERVICE!! Totally professional, very helpful, I will definitely go back if needed (but hopefully I won't hit anything again to require their services)! Esteban explained what was going to get done in a very detailed manner to let me know exactly what was going to get done to my car. With my previous car, the dealership would always talk down to me when I brought it in for service, and I really didn't appreciate that. Esteban treated me respectfully and was super nice. I would get e-mails with updates on my car which I didn't expect, which was appreciated. I got my car back looking perfect like the day I got it! The paint job was seamless and you can't even tell anything had happened! And they also cleaned the car inside and out and got all the dog hair off of the seats that my vacuum just couldn't get. Thanks guys! Another added extra that blew me away, a few hours after they had closed, my car became like it was haunted by a ghost and the emergency lights were flashing. I tried to play with switches in the car to get it to turn off but it just wouldn't. So I e-mailed Prochilo and I got a response in 13 minutes!! After the place was closed!! It was Domenic that had responded to me and helped calm me down and told me to swing by the next day to check it out. Then 15 minutes later, the poltergeist left my car and the lights stopped blinking. I e-mailed Domenic but he said to bring the car around the next morning just in case to ensure that everything was ok, which I did. Had a bumper replaced at 40 Midwest Av Scarborough, Ont. due to hit and run..paint did match but it was poorly taped traces of overpaint and overspray,(logos &trims)..Used the plug to secure the bumper with rustproof in it which was the plug that came from underneath the car..that shows they didn't pay attention to detail..a loose cover which i have yet to figure out where it goes..Took longer than I expected (8days for a bumper). which cost me rental.. This repair cost $3100. I feel this is too $$$. Insurance paid for it, (paid deductible),I think the adjuster (recommend i take it there so he doesn't have to see the car,says it will be quicker..NOT) and them are in it to scam the insurance..been quoted elsewhere 3/4 days at a dealer and cheaper.. Great speedy service, very knowledgeable staff, good quality work. This place is where I get my car fixed. I recommend it to everyone. I have been dealing with them for years and no complaints. I once made the mistake of taking my car to Assurance Auto Collision, won't be doing that again. Thankfully Prochillo Bros Fixed the badly fixed work that they had done on my car. Prochillos has life time warranty so long as you own you vehicle. If you go make sure you ask for Esteban as he will explain all what needs to be done with an incredible amount of detail. When your car status has changed you get an email to update you with the work. They are also able to get you a rental very quickly. My insurance seems to have great confidence in them as well. I have heard horrible stories of people getting cheap body work at other places only to find out that their pain was peeling or that they didn't fix the frame the way it was supposed to be done. Prochillos is slightly more expensive but you won't get a "taxi cab" fix. 100% recommend this place to anyone even if you're not going through insurance. read more

Dom & Paul at Prochilo Bros. (South) made my car as good as new after I was in an accident! I'd never had to deal with a body shop before, so my car was towed there (it was in the area). I'm glad it was! I received a call from Dom the morning after my accident and he gave me the lowdown on what to expect and provided me with information about their company and services. Once the damage was assessed they told me to come by the shop to walk through the damage to my car, explain the work that was to be done and just answer my questions. I spoke with Dom & Paul a number of times while my car was in the shop and they were always super helpful and didn't seem to mind my questions. I am super happy that my car ended up there and would recommend their services in a heartbeat. read more

My husband took his car here twice for auto body repairs. Both times, big promises were made about how quickly repairs could be done, both times, there were major delays. Yes, they seems super accommodating, but then use excuses as to why the car was not ready. As well, one time they gave us our car back with the side mirror still broken, telling us just bring the car back in, and we will fix it. Ridiculous. Both times , the auto body work came to over $5,000. Upon telling others, about the costs, they were in shock. As well, parts were used that fell off, almost immediately after leaving ( 1 week ). We were later told this part used most likely didn't fit, and was just shoved in to make it look like it was fixed, hence fell off. I heard as well, that truck drivers get paid to recommend/ bring your car in. I saw it myself when the tow truck driver was too " gang busters" to drop off the car at this shop. Get them to give you a repair estimate and hold them to it. read more

First off I want to start by saying anything with my car I consider myself a perfectionist. What might be mediocre for me, might meet your standards. That said here is my review for a mediocre repair job. Front line staff very friendly and courteous. Guided me on how to get my car repair procedure started by contacting insurance and releasing car from collision center to them. Everything was done with little interaction as it was covered by insurance. I only went in once to see if my vehicle arrived from collision center (took 2 days for them to transport to garage). The repair job speed was good seeing as I required oem materials designated by insurance. Took 1 week and 4 days. (2 days for transport). They replaced Rear bumper, Front bumper, Trunk. Although i am grateful they replaced all that, my opinion is that not all those parts needed replacements (based on first glance of accident). Even though I am not paying for it, it still is coming out of someone hard earn pockets as accident was not at fault for me. The replaced parts look good, paint matches fairly well but as expected with a blend job. They update you with emails every 2 days, sometimes daily. Near the end they stopped updating me for 3 days which I had to call up and ask, they told me my car would be ready next day. I was told my car would be ready by NOON (12pm) the previous day however when i arrived @ 1:30ish my car was still being cleaned. They had my car ready by 2ish. I really should of called before i left. CONs The cleaning job was mediocre at best. They said they cleaned inside, but basically only my dash was clean which probably only wiped with a dry cloth. everything else was not, they probably thought it was clean enough because my car was fairly new (25k Km) and rarely driven. Nothing was vacuumed, doors were not wiped, interior wasn't wiped etc. Don't tell customers you're cleaning it, especially trying to sell it by showing me my rear door... I would of waited for it to be cleaned if time was an issue because i arrived while they were cleaning. My car was rinsed and scarcely wiped all this done while i was waiting to receive car. My rear window had some sort of gunk wiped on which is proving to be a pain to remove. (Car wash did not remove it. Even hand wiping with window cleaner and even tried MR clean magic eraser alcohol based, still some left over residue on it.) Car has many white small paint residue on black lining of my car. Every window, top liner, mirrors, wipers etc. I noticed a noticeable gap between my rear lights and bumper which the staff stated is normal with every car. although I expect some discrepancy with edge lining, this gap is huge, my pinky finger can fit through it as size comparison. Price I would say is above the average market price. Bill/invoice is extremely difficult to comprehend/read. Noticed some random items on bill ie. antenna, cover assembly, weather strips, etc. Bill came out to a little under $9,000 for reference. Final Thoughts Friendly and courteous, Not very trustworthy from my perspective, overpriced, fast service, big clean garage, rental drop off for enterprise, mediocre work, many workers, email updates. I will not be taking my car there again. read more

Warranty service promise not kept. Phone calls and emails were ignored. They only responded after I told them I would be contacting CAA (one of the reasons I went to them) and BBB. Recently had Prochilo Bros (PB) perform repairs on my vehicle and while the quality of craftsmanship was impressive, the ability to get timely and accurate updates on the status of my vehicle was very frustrating. More than once did I receive conflicting statuses when attempting to obtain updates. PB also claimed email status updates would be issued as the vehicle progressed through the repair process. Unfortunately, this did not happen. Overall, while pleased with the finished product, I would consider other body shops before returning. read more

i got lower estimates when i shopped around for my recent repair but none were as comprehensive and that extra detail in large part explained the difference in prices. my car would be undriveable once the hood was popped and those lower priced shops made much more of an effort to get me to open it up on their property which would have forced me to have the work done there or get a tow. domonic was the opposite, cautioning me against opening the hood and doing a good job of predicting the extent of the damage based on his experience. he worked with me throughout the process to keep the costs down and delivered on time. thankfully i don't have much experience with body shops but i was left satisfied with this one. read more

They don't deserve one star, but yelp made me put at least one. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT take your car here. They detailed the outside of my car without asking me, and when I went to go pick it up there were gashes and holes on some pre-existing rust spots on the back panel of my car. When I tried to take it back to show them the damage they had done, along with before and after pictures that clearly showed damage after the detailing, the owners would not acknowledge anything I told them and denied they did anything wrong. They kept showing me pictures of the rust and said that rust was already there - duh - that was not the problem. The GASHES and HOLES they PUT on the existing damage is the problem. Paul is phony and extra nice - until there's a problem. Then he turns into a little girl and argues with you like a little kid. Bottom line: they made my car look worse. They also said they would repair a small scratch that was located right beside the part they were going to repair. But that spot looked better scratched. It looked like they just got a bottle of white-out and sloppily touched up that part. My dog would've done a more professional repair job. They get a fail. In life and in their "work". read more
