From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming The food was absolutely outstanding. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and you can tell a lot of care goes into both the quality and presentation. The sashimi was buttery and melt-in-your-mouth, and the creative touches--like the light sauces and garnishes--really elevated each dish without overpowering the natural flavors of the fish. I especially loved how beautifully everything was plated. It felt like every dish was thoughtfully designed, not just made. Sushi was just ok for me. The presentation is cute, but the size of the pieces were tiny. Much smaller than any other sushi place I've been to. Fish was fresh, but had a rather strong taste and smell. Salmon sashimi was also a very small amount and had much of the fat still attached, which was kind of gross to me. I'd try it again, but hope the pieces are larger next time and sashimi has less fat and better presentation. read more

Cut Roll Bento - $14 This bento is a fantastic deal. You get 4 half rolls, a solid amount of poke, and edamame for only $14! It definitely filled me up. The rolls are just your basic ones but they're done well, with fresh fish and rice and a great ratio of the two. The poke and edamame are awesome, as well. Spicy Tuna Onigiri - $5 The photos on Grubhub do not do this one justice. It's HUGE! If you're not too hungry, this onigiri could work as a meal. Tons of fresh spicy tuna inside, and I loved the nutty sesame seeds on the rice. I'm sure the salmon one is also great. Overall, I loved ordering from Simpli Sushi. I arrived at the pick-up location a little bit early, called them, and a nice gentlemen brought out my order. He was nice enough to tell me that they added a a couple extra pieces as a token of their appreciation. My order came in a small pizza box, with a beautiful presentation once I opened the box! Packaging looks like a pizza box on the outside but more so bento on the inside. Very innovative now a days. I love that they have a 3rd party delivery system on their website but it would also be nice if they had others such as "ubereats" or "door das as an option. Personally I think that could help with accessibility as well. Because this is a catering business, they're only open Fridays and Saturdays to the public starting at 11:30am.
