Just a light, natural wood smell (no solvent or paint smell). Well worth the price in my opinion (they offer a lifetime warranty!) I'd be willing to pay for the lack of smell alone lol. Definitely using them again when I get a bigger house. Thank you California Closets, Kendra, Eden and team!
