Chris did a drywall repair and assembled several sets of metal shelves for my garage. When I realized what a gem Chris was, we moved on to other kinds of projects. Chris has worked in my home, my son's home and several of my rental properties. He has replaced that awful 1960's panelling with drywall in a family room; hung interior and exterior doors; created a closet in an under-utilized area under my staircase; enclosed a staircase; removed a half wall to open-up a kitchen; repaired and replaced hardwood flooring where it was damaged or missing; painstakingly removed that dreaded "popcorn ceiling" and managed to control what might have been a terrible mess; created beautiful casement trim for bookcases, windows and doors; retextured and painted interior walls, including some amazing 'faux' finishes; replaced plumbing fixtures and light fixtures; installed window shades and blinds; and checked out potential properties I was considering buying - to name a few of the smaller projects. He has also done total gut and remodel of bathrooms that, to this day, I still use as examples of how a remodel should be done. In short, with Chris Golden you get a no nonsense guy who is not only a highly skilled craftsman but who also brings imagination, excellent design suggestions and flawless execution. He does not hide issues. We own a condo and had another HVAC vendor put in a new dryer ducting run between the first and second floors. We knew they did not do drywall nor stucco/finishing so I engaged Chris, who I had never used before, for that job. When Chris started to work to trim the ceiling opening to put the new drywall patch in place, he found that the dryer ducting had been 'squished' ontop of our existing flexible AC ducting. He found that our air flow from our HVAC system to the vents adjacent to this ducting were being severely compromised. Also there was condensation collecting around the new dryer ducting as well as on the hvac ducting due to "heat from the dryer" converging with "Cool air from the hvac". And this was days after the HVAC folks did their work. He engaged a specialist to advise us on what we needed to do and then he reran portions of the new dryer ducting away from the hvac so that the hvac flow was no longer compromised. The finished product was amazing... you can not tell we had any work done on the ceiling at all unless you knew there was work done there! I highly recommend Chris for all paint, drywall and stucco jobs and will only use Chris for all future work on any of our properties.

On my third message I told him he had already had two red flags previously by responding several days after I had called and this was the second issue of not showing and that I could not work with undependable and we were done. Then he finally responded and said he got hung up building a swing set! That's very unprofessional. No I would not recommend him, he seems to work when he wants to as some previous reviews on Yelp have had the same issue. No one even came close to matching their price. And the integrity of just dealing with Bryan and his brother, was top of the chart. A+ Always quick to answer any questions. He would text us if he was running a few minutes behind, or letting us know time wise where we were. He was so patient, professional and friendly. Bryan and Jayson worked long and hard. I can't stress enough all the labor that went into these 30+ year old cabinets, prepping and painting. My kitchen was well protected and they took extra care to protect the appliances, as well. I had 3 trees to remove, we discussed pricing beforehand. $400 per tree…read more Problems started immediately as soon as he realized I'm remotely managing this, with a tenant in place. Dylan visited the property and decided one of the trees was too big and wanted to charge higher amount ($650). I agreed. He then set out to do absolutely whatever HE felt was convenient. He cut one tree down. "Trimmed" another tree. At this point he called me and said he's done with 2 trees, can I send in the money for finishing up two trees. This was a blatant lie. I did not ask for proof, because I didn't think disgusting liars like Dylan existed anymore. I sent him the money. He sent me photos of what he did afterwards, which showed two of three trees still standing. On asking why there are 2 trees still up, he mentioned he spoke to the tenant and decided to keep the tree up. This didn't make any sense. Nobody changes the agreement without discussing it, lies about it to the person paying and gets paid as though they did the full work. That's when he ended up "finishing" the other tree with minimal work done (of trimming) because he had enough with this. Mind you his communication with me was to say nothing about all of this until he got paid, then he said his life was in danger to cut trees. Like who the heck forced him to work on things he didn't want to? He then said he'll "make it right" by showing up on Monday to fix it. Would you guess what happened next? He didn't show up and decided to run away with the money. Dishonest cheats like this shouldn't exist. I'm now looking at legal options to deal with the mess. I had a large project that consisted of:…read more a. installation of category-6 cable networking of an existing 20-year-old home. b. installation of 5 large-screen (65" to 85") Samsung TV's (wall-mounted in bedrooms) c. installation of several new electrical outlets (for TV's and stereo equipment) d. installation of exterior home Bose Speakers, interior in-wall-Bose speakers, and wiring of existing Bose 901 Series VI Bose Speakers Most of the work was done by Spencer and Sherif--only the electric outlets were subcontracted out for a professional electrician (separate costs). Note: Amost all of the work has been finished except for "D" above--because the home is old and needs retrofitting, the stereo install will need to wait. A few networking outlets need to be finished up and some of the TV's need to be hung (3 remaining). I can't tell you how highly I recommend Spencer and Sharif. These guys are intelligent, professional, well-spoken, hard-working, and give you a written quote that they stuck to. Both are incredibly talented and have the know-how of installing networking, wiring, home-theaters, etc. Spencer wanted me to install a home-theater using non-Bose equipment. That's okay. I'm a big Bose guy and wanted Bose--but that isn't because Spencer is anti-Bose. He just wanted me to get the most current, modern system possible. My issue was I already owned all this Bose and (older) Pioneer SXV-90 and Sony equipment. They worked in the middle of the Texas summer--in my home and attic. Did a phenomenal job. Spencer did inform me they're moving to a "per-hour" rate. He quoted me a $150/hour rate for my upcoming installations. It works out about the same as his prior quote. I TRUST THESE GUYS. I ENJOYED THEIR WORK ETHIC, THEIR CONVERSATION, THEIR INTEGRITY, AND HONESTY. I have to end this review because I've got to e-mail Spencer and have him come back for the remainder of the work. 10 STARS out of 5.

Media Room - we had issues with the original installation:…read more*Speakers not installed correctly *Projector and receiver not working *Other issues Demand Tech came over and assessed what steps were necessary to correct the issues. Provided me with estimated cost and time to repair all issues. End results - all issues fixed - my media room appearance and sound is far better than the original installation. The techs were professional and extremely knowledgeable. I will definitely use then for any future projects / issues.
