Taking off the cover, I could see the melting insulation and read the temperature of the thick cable at over 600°. We called out an HVAC company. Their man made a good effort and replaced a breaker in the box. However, the next morning I could smell the cooking fish again. They recommended Jefferson Electric. Jefferson sent out a supervisor to assess the situation and give us a quote. He ended up going to buy the parts, replacing the entire box and solving the problem, removing our fire hazard. Price was fair Good people!

First time they installed telephone wires but not Ethernet cables. Then we found the issue and asked Ryan home to fix it. They fixed it but left the Ethernet cables in basement untouched without a connector. I had to pay a Spetrum network technician to cut connectors for us in 2023. I didn't notice this company was my new home contract until 08/2026. The second experience is that I doubt my inwall network cable or endpoint was not working properly. I asked them to come for a look and see if it still within warranty. Someone said it should be within warranty. They came and fixed the endpoints which are good. They charged 250$ for finding the cable and cutting the endpoint! What a ridiculous price! They took away my own crimping tool by accident and left over a box. It's just too ridiculous if I hadn't just checked by myself. That could explain what happened in 2023 when the same mistakes were made while I wasn't at home checking. How can the team be trustworthy if something similar happened once again??? This company to me is just always making mistakes. You paid money to not get a good quality service as expected. It's a hell quality. We always want to support local business but this local business is just garbage IMO. Don't deal with this company or you will have mess to deal with.

The toilets were gross from hard water and they were sparkling clean after. My oldest child's bathroom was clean, floors clearly mopped... Cabinets... ummm... and then I went to warm up take out for my son... VERY communal microwave in the office. My tub.. nope. Vents dusted, (even though they are sited in the quote)... Nope. Doors wiped down? You guessed it... NOPE. Despite how upset I was I tried nicely to convey that the invoice needed adjustment. I was met with begging to come play around in my home (no thanks), then gaslighted to try to believe that I can't read or see either. THEN LEGIT arguing with this lady about messaging me at odd hours of the night. The most basic understanding of consumer law states that even collection agencies can only correspond during certain hours. Only for me today to decide that it's not worth the wasted energy... Only for I guess her to pretend the interaction didn't happen yesterday??? This is truly the strangest, most disappointing interaction with a small business owner I have EVER had. She made very strange and incorrect statements about my financial status ASSUMING I would not be able to cover the bill, my knowledge of business practices, education level and... HEAVENS! I've never had to fire someone until I hired Tony. Don't get me wrong, Tony is a great person to…read moretalk to on the phone and he will give you the best price, but it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I wanted 3 ceiling fans installed including the wiring and drywall. He said it would take him 4 hours and he would be there between 9:00am and 9:30am. I told him that I had to be at work in the afternoon and that I arranged with my employer to be at work at 2:00pm. Tony sends me a text message at 10:45am saying, "I'm 15 minutes out." He then shows up at 11:30am (45 minutes later) with no apologies. Honestly, I don't know what he did for the next 2.5 hours. I kept seeing him bring in equipment into my home and taking multiple smoke breaks, but nothing was getting done. He comes up to me around 3:00pm telling me that he bought the wrong parts and has to go to Lowe's to get the right parts. His partner tells him to get some plastic covers for my furniture. Tony then says that "I can't be buying extra supplies for this job." Plastic covers cost $1 at Lowes. You are a "professional" electrian that cuts into drywall everyday and you don't have plastic covers to protect your customer's property? Are you kidding me? He's gone for 1.5 hours. He comes back from Lowe's and the job actually starts at 5:00pm. By this time, my boss has given up on me coming into work. I was ticked off, but now they've made holes in my drywall and I want something to get done. Now, it's 9:00pm (12 hours later from the proposed start time) and nothing has been completed. I told Tony and his partner to clean up their mess and leave. Tony and his partner then start arguing about how it was the other person's fault on why they got fired. Tony tells his partner that he's not paying him for the work he did that day. They then begin to argue about money IN MY LIVING ROOM! It takes them 2 hours to clean up and get out of my house. Folks, they left my house at 11:30pm. 14 hours after the proposed start time and 12 hours after the time they actually got to my house. This is beyond ridiculous. So, I'm out, not only an entire day of work, but an entire evening with my family. I spent the next day getting the smell of cheap cigarettes out of my house and cleaning my carpets and floors, because of all of the drywall. I can't even tell you what my wife was thinking, because Yelp would kick me off of here. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and NEVER hired these guys. By the way, I have proof of everything I said here (text messages, photos, etc.).
