One of the best selections of cheese in Wisconsin. Simon's has the best cheese curds I have ever had. read more

The hotel staff recommended we check out this cheese shop. As a Wisconsin born who has lived in the South for 20 years, I wanted provisions to take home. They have a large selection of local cheese, sausages, candies, beer, cider, wine and other Wisconsin paraphernalia. Worth the visit. read more

Chocolate fudge cheese!!! And the smoked provolone was so tasty. The shop has many unique gift items.

I tried to place an order for 7 different gormet baskets and was stunned at the poor service. On hold for over 15 minutes, with 5 minute interruptions from the operator who didn't know what was going on. Finally, when I requested to speak with the manager, she become testy and defensive. Again, put on hold for 5 minutes, and then the line went blank. She hung up. Look, they have good products, but their service is terrible. read more

Amazing cheese, and service. I've never had a bad experience. Their cheese curds I believe are made fresh every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; and they are so good. I would go out of my way to come here. read more

We come to this place yesterday I think.!! We buy some cheese, pizza and a wine. I recommend this place!! Not sure if it was my first time there.. read more

I'm from Kaukauna, so I've been dragging my heels about writing something for this place, given I haven't been home very much in the last four years I've been in college. But I went home this weekend and showed my significant other around the area and this place was mandatory. There are two reasons to come here; I don't know why they bother with all the little knick-knacks and do-dads, but don't bother. Just do yourself a favor and go straight for the cheeses and the fudge. I'm sad they don't have Pavarro (it's a nutty-flavored, Dutch cheese), but it's hard to stay sad when they've got some of the best flavored cheddar and other types available. And the fudge. The fudge is unforgettable. Just do it. You will not regret it. Even if you can't make it to Little Chute? You can order it straight from the company. Do it, give it a shot. They're worth your business. read more

The cheese curds here were awesome! And what a great thing that they were frozen so they survived the plane ride back to Atlanta. I took a bunch of cheese back with me - including the smoked string cheese, sharp cheddar for a friend and the cute little piece of cheddar that was in the shape of a cupcake. Only problem was my GPS wouldn't recognize the address so I had to get creative. It's worth it. read more

Squeaky cheese curds. What else could you ask for? I went on a Monday so they were fresh. I think they do fresh curds Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Lots of other great looking food and specialty items, but I was just there for the curds. read more

We have been customers of Simon's for many years but had not been in the store for several years. A always the staff was friendly and helpful and the cheese and sausage were great. read more

So much cheese! Such a great variety of cheese. Plus they have so many extra things like clothing, jewelry, souvineers and more. Plus they have freezer ice packs to pack the cheese for my travel home. Great place! read more

I gotta say, this place was surprisingly good. They have a lot of variety of cheese including chocolate fudge cheese, salami cheese, bacon cheese..etc. The super sharp cheddar, aged for 5 yrs, was great for those who loves the sharpness. They also offer cheese sandwiches at the shop. The ham&cheese sandwich was totally worth the calories! read more

Cheese Cheese Cheese all the cheese variety you could dream of. I would say the prices aren't too bad. It's good fresh cheese too, so you get what you pay for! They also have a good selection of gifts for any occasion and delicious salt water taffy. Nice place to buy some Packers gear too! We will be back for sure! read more

If you haven't already tried it, I highly recommend their take and bake pizza's Made right on the spot to your specifications. Or if you don't have time to wait for that, they have a nice selection in their display case. And if you want to save an additional 10%, there are some frozen pizza's available in the freezer. Sometimes if they have the kind I'm looking for, I will just opt for that instead, since I take it home to keep in the freezer anyway, just to have it on hand. The sauce is perfect. Not too much of it, and not too spicy. And the cheese combination is great. MMMMmmmm.....makes me want to go get one right now! Also don't forget to save your frequent buyer coupons. Save 12 and get $5 off of your next pizza purchase. And I think Wednesday is double coupon day. Not positive which day, but I think that is the one. read more

Recommended by locals - my grandparents! Awesome place with all the CHEESE! and other stuffs. We picked up some fresh cheese curds and various other cheese related things. Wish I had more time looking around but we were on a time crunch so give yourself some time to peruse. read more

Great place to stop, just the sort of place you're looking for if you're visiting Wisconsin as a cheese-lover. There are lots of things to browse, from gifts and collectibles to souvenirs and (of course) the cheese of all kinds. We only had the budget for inexpensive souvenirs and this place offered those (like postcards, magnets, and keychains). We appreciated being able to select cold drinks and also milk for our preschooler. I found the cheese prices high but there's not much you can do about that (we have cheese in California too so I know how it is)! This store is a good place to take photos for your souvenir album because it's Cheesehead central (everything and anything made out of foam "cheese" for the Packers fan on display on shelves around the store). One guy (a visitor) was taking endless selfies of himself with the shelves behind him - the decor is fun and amusing. Another fun thing here is the map in the entry - you can ask for a glasshead pin at the checkout and mark your hometown on the map. It's nice for visitors to think of that pin marking their visit after they're back home. read more

In Appleton but a decent drive to get there. Cute place. Cheese, crackers, beer, gift and Packers items. Cheese slicer came highly recommended by another customer. So I bought it. Was she the owner's sister????? LOL read more

For your own good don't go here on an empty stomach. When you walk in you don't know where to start. Do I run for the pizzas at the back of the store or stop at the giant cheese refrigerator first?! You heard that right: giant CHEESE refrigerator. All the flavors you could imagine. They also have a variety of crackers and other specialty food items that are always fun to try. This is a great one-stop shop if you need to whip up a quick snack to bring to party. Also, it's right off the highway so it's really easy to get to. "Cheddar late than never!" read more

Every time I'm in Wisconsin, in the Appleton area, I make a point to stop at Simon's cheese shop. They always have a great selection of everything Wisconsin - cheese, sausage, wine, sweets, and memorabilia. My staples are usually cheese curds, always grab a bag of these, and they area always squeaky fresh! They have a variety of sausages, different cheese flavors, and wines from Door County (which I would also recommend). This visit, my LO wanted some of the Wisconsin souvenirs of which I thought were reasonably priced. read more

Half gift shop, half cheese shop. They make a fantastic Muenster and have a decent variety of other cheeses and lots of local wines and beer. Sadly, their cheese curds are on the salty side, but they are definitely fresh. They also sell fudge (made by an outside vendor) and I highly recommend the mint chocolate chip! The customer service is pretty rough, they need to up there game there, big time! read more

Great cheese, fun store, but beware when shipping! Ordered two gourmet gift boxes on Monday, 12/12...got notification that one shipped the following Thursday and the next one shipped on Tuesday, 12/20, over a week after I placed my order! UPS said they will receive it on 12/24....$68 basket + $20 shipping for gift that won't get there in time. Nothing on website gives estimated shipping and arrival time. My gift will sit on front porch for two weeks in Texas as they are gone for the holidays. Thanks Simons! read more

A very nice cheese shop with a better than average selection of cheese, spreads, sausage and other specialty foods as well as a gift store. The curds are tasty with that prerequisite "squeak" and hint of salt. They're a great bargain at $3.79/lb. They even sell them frozen to keep for the long trip home. (I didn't know they sold them fried, I gotta try that next time). I have a feeling Simon's will be a regular stop for us as we travel to the north country. read more

What a great pit stop!!! Souvenirs and food! And cheeses!!!! And if you love grilled cheese sandwiches have one here. I had the Deluxe: 3 cheeses, Muenster, Swiss and Cheddar on Sour Dough bread. Out-of-this-world good!!! read more

I love cheese. It does typically clog me up, but the cheese at this place didn't. The taste of the cheeses here were nothing to write home about, but at least I stayed regular. read more

The place is Simon's SPECIALTY Cheese. I asked for a SPECIALTY cheese used as part of a traditional holiday meal. Not only did two employees respond that they never heard of the cheese, they didn't seem at all concerned enough to ask further or to learn where this particular food could be purchased. I read in one review that the people were impressed.by Simon's variety of cheeses. I guess if all you're eating are processed cheeses, that might be true. Not quite the cheese house I'm looking for..... read more

Good selection of local and domestic cheeses, with a few too many novelty cheese (cheeses with chocolate or blended fruit). Ample selection of crackers, although the wine snob in me didnt buy a single wine. I have to say i was a tad disappointed bc i was expecting a little more from the imported varieties, but alas there were so few. My quest for a brie (from France, not Illinois) continues. If you can stomach cheese curds, boy do they have them! Cute little deli serving sandwiches. read more

I kept ordering fried cheese curds until I was dragged out of the store. I probably would have missed my first regular season game at Lambeau Field if my sister and cousin didn't drag me out of the store. Next time I am in the area for a game I'll have to come in a few days earlier so I will not be disturbed at Simon's. read more

I needed blue cheese crumbles for an event I was hosting. I called Simon's the day before the event because the grocrey store was so expensive...not only were they less expensive, the blue chees was amazing! Even the chef commented that this blue chesses was the best he had ever worked with! read more

Great place tons of food, alcohol and souvenirs!!! Of course tons of cheese and priced pretty reasonable!!

I am TOTALLY amazed by the very business-like hours of the shop and disappointed that their products are not available anywhere else. I have been by there MANY times, but apparantly not at their convenience, because I have to BE at work at 8:00 am, and do not get off work until about 5:30. apparantly they are to good for this working man. read more

They're prices are outrageous you can find the same type of cheeses at cheaper prices at woodmans

Huge selection with just about anything anyone could possibly want for a party, gifts, snacks or lunch.

This is probably the worst store I've been to the masters reserve cheese which is supposedly made by master cheese makers that they employ are awful the people working here were very rude will not return read more

I shop at Simon's pretty frequently as my husband is a total meat and cheese guy. I really enjoy their cheese; however what I don't enjoy is having to go in to the store to buy it! The service stinks! The ladies are so rude.........I haven't met a nice one yet! Great cheese just not great people:( read more
