This location has went down hill…read more Walked in a few days ago to pick up a prescription, the interior was trashed. Trash on the floor, empty shelves with trash on them. By the looks of things it had been left in that state for awhile. My Dr. had e-transferred my prescription over to them at least 30 min before I got there. The tech behind the counter informed me they did not have it. OK, no problem, Went home, waited an hour and called back, nope still do not have my prescription in the system. Called my Dr's, they confirmed that they had sent it over and sent it over again, since my DRs assistant knew I needed to get on the those meds sooner than later, she called what I am guessing is a top secret number for Dr only. The Pharmacy reported that my prescription had been filled for 2 hours... It had not been two hours since the original prescription was sent over. So I head back down there, pick up my prescription and guess what the time stamp on their paper work stated that the prescription had only been filled a few minutes prior to me arriving the second time. Don't insult my intelligence by lying to me. Tell me you are understaffed, behind what ever, just do not lie. The next day for my next prescription was not much better. I normally use a mail order pharmacy, this time I needed my prescriptions filled in real time. Their service proved to me that I had made the correct choice using mail order. Really have no reason to go back in that store.

They can't do simple data entry, look blankly at you like there is no light behind their eyes and a simple call ahead for meds that they've already told you are ready, turns into a 1 hour wait because they are incredibly stupid. Consistently! The pharmacist himself is no better. Definitely mule kicked as a child. I watched him get into a shouting match with a perfectly polite customer. Why would you hire someone who can't control his emotions. I'm blown away CVS employs these reprobates. The place itself is also a dump, overrun with homeless chilling in seats reserved for people waiting for their meds to be filled. There is nothing good about this place. Nothing. The lines are never long and if they don't have a med in stock they can order and it's there within a day. I once had a prescription that my insurance didn't cover and CVS found a discount card for me and based on my research of the cost of this med, it was an amazing price and I had my med immediately. Can't ask for more than that from a pharmacy! The store is super clean, someone always asks if you need help if you look confused or searching. I don't like to ask for help sometimes (hahaha) so this is particularly helpful FOR ME. Parking is easy squeezy too. Highly recommend the Lime Kiln Rd CVS.

Adding up to 3 types of shots is available. The automated system sends me a text and email confirmation. I also get a reminder beforehand to remind me what time and where to check in. Today I was immediately acknowledged and pointed to the chair for shots. Within 10 minutes I had been vaccinated, put on a brave sticker to celebrate, and received a store coupon. Pick up of meds has also been great. I rarely go through the drive thru. My preference is to park and go inside. I see how many folks are hustling to fill the orders, answer phones, and take care of store customers. When my prescription has been filled I also get text reminders. I so appreciate this because it's easy to forget meds. Private parking lot and fairly easy in and out.

So, to begin, I had a prescription issue with my blood thinner. This being a drug that is essential…read morefor my well being, and the fact that I had been round and round with the insurance on why it was so much, I was already frustrated when it came time to finally pick up the final result, and blood thinner they ended up putting me on. First off, I do know that my provider had initially put in the wrong dosage, and therefore, possibly they had filled a script that had to be backed out, not sure on this, however, I had to call the provider and advise, this is not the right one, dosage, therefore they needed to change it. So, with that being said, they called in the other one, right dosage, wrong amount. So, upon arriving to the pharmacy to pick up the medication, I was told that the insurance company would not cover the medication due to the amount, it was not for a full 30-day supply. This is because the lady at the doctors office did not account for the fact I would be taking 2 pills a day for 30 days, so she called in 30 pills and not a full 60. However, the pharmacy simply said, I could not get it, other than if I paid out of pocket over 700 bucks, which was not an option for me, so I left, upset, as I had already been 4 days off my blood thinners, and I periodically throw clots even while on thinnners. So, needless to say, I was worried. Then, after calling the insurance, getting an override, and them calling the pharmacy, giving them a code that was evidently different for a 15-day supply, in order to run what was called in, they advised me to turn around and go pick up my meds. They would be ready. Now, I had already made it to Blakenbaker Pkwy, which is not a short drive, however, since I had been off my thinners for so long, I could not risk any longer, so I drove all the way back to the pharmacy, where I was greeted at the window by a very confused rep, who acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. He continued to tell me to contact my provider for a 60-day supply. I told him, I worked it out with my insurance, they provided the pharmacy with a code, this provided the override I needed to get the 15-days filled, so I was not without one more day, my blood thinners. He, in the middle of the conversation, looking confused, looks around, and here comes the older gentleman, pharmacist, who is yelling at the top of his lungs at me, " No, he is not the one they spoke to." As I did just say to him, obviously you were not the one they spoke with, as they literally just told me to come back to pick up my meds, which were ready. Then the pharmacist continues to say, overspeaking us all at this point, " I am the one who wasted 5 hours on this issue yesterday and now you have wasted 2 of my hours today, and you need to contact your doctor and get the full 60-days." I am looking in confusion at this point, I am sure, because, I literally just drove 20 minutes back to the pharmacy with intent on picking up my medication, which they told me was ready at the insurance, and you are saying that I wasted your time, and the medication is not ready, and that I need to contact my provider? First, off, wasting the time of a person who is getting paid to do a job, really? The only person who wasted their time was me, and to be talked to like I was a crack head begging for pain pills or something was unheard of, however, this is a blood thinner, that is life saving for me. I have had a pulmonary embolism, and many clots while taking blood thinners, and now my right leg is swollen at my ankle and right foot, and not sure why, possibly a clot, hoping its not, but who on earth has ever heard of having to go through so much all for a blood thinner. Then to be cussed and yelled at simply for returning to the pharmacy to pick up my medication, that was unheard of. If you want to be treated with dignity and respect, I would nt recommend you cming while this pharmacist is on duty, all the others are fine, friendly, it is the older gentleman with white hair, appears to be around mid 60's and has evidently an issue doing his job.
