Poor customer service. We went to get passport photo. The photo cropped out the top of my head and would not work. We went back to get it redone. It was never emailed to me as walgreens promised. When i called to inquire the photo department indicated that it was out of their control and maybe it would be emailed maybe not. Then they told me that I should have bought the flash drive option. All in all, 4 Walgreens trips for a stupid passport photo and mission failure. I'm not happy. How can such an easy task be such a stressful ordeal? I usually don't invest my time on negativity, but today I had the worst experience at this pharmacy. I was denied the opportunity to get vaccinated becuase I was not a US CITIZEN witch makes absolutely no sense! The vaccine it's a right not a benefit Nobody should be excluded. Pharmacist Dave (an older gentleman) was working when I went in for a Covid/flu test over the weekend. I'm very familiar with how a Covid/flu test should be administered, and was immediately worried after he did the test that he did not get a good sample. My results came back negative (despite my entire family having flu + me showing all symptoms of flu). I called back and kindly asked if they would re-test me... I had paid $23 for the test and felt it wasn't done accurately. The pharmacist Dave's exact words to me were, "Let me stop you right there. I got a good enough sample. You can come back in and get re-tested but it won't be free." I went to an immediate care where they are educated on how to test for Covid and flu and tested positive for flu b. My go-to Walgreens in the city! Like most, I don't come much unless I need random select things. I also go here to develop film. It's one of the cheapest options for me rather than going to an actual specialty developer. Doesn't matter to me since I'm not a professional photographer and it's for my own personal use. They are usually ready in less than a week although they like to underpromise and tell you to come back in a little over a week. Service is great! They're really nice! The photo center is not the popular place to be these days as people are usually taking pics with their iPhones. I had to find a store associate to help me out since no one was at the counter. No issue though as she was only two aisles from the center. She was quick to help and smiled! Love it! read more

Went to drive thru and never made it to the window? Not sure what was going on. Went in 5 people in line the pharmacist was waiting on customers some little forgien guy slow as christmas! there were 2 other employees but they were busy. So I waited. One of the other employees came over to help but by that time I was up with the pharmist who never acknowledge me (he was getting paper work for two vaccines, one a older couple who could have come during the day!) everyone behind me was getting waited on so I said something. The only reason I go to this store now is because the one on Westport road is only open from 9 to 6 daily and closed on weekends. I have heard they are all going to close soon. Medicare made me go there instead of Krogers government in action. read more

I have a spinal cord injury which left me with pain 24 hours a day. It hurts just to sit down. Yes I have to take pain medication. Some of the pharmacists think it is their responsibility to cut me off, not the doctor. There are two that are incredibly rude. One of them even told me to go somewhere else! I wish I could give my pain to them for one day just so they could be more empathetic. Just imagine what life would be like if it was miserable to sit or lie down! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Spent one hour on phone last night with no pharmacy answer. Ten minutes today with no answer said 2 callers ahead of me entire time. I think they just don't answer the phone. Went to store to get Rx for increased dosage and was told it was denied as early refill. Called my insurance and was told Walgreens submitted it incorrectly and walgreens should have called my insurance for a dosage override. Now I have to go back and stand in line again to try to get them to fill the medication I need! read more

I understand staff shortages and the issues they are dealing with. But standing at the counter for ten minutes while 4 pharmacists (or techs) are busy at their computer screens without even acknowledging a customer is not acceptable. I had an appointment for a shot at 11:40, waited 45 minutes until I got the shot.. No apology, just complaints from the tech who gave me the shot. I went back to pick up a prescription at 6:25 (Saturday) and find they close at 6:00. I'm moving to Kroger pharmacy. read more

This pharmacy is a disaster. It's not the people working at the stores fault at all. They run around ragged. Walgreens has to be the worst place on the planet to work. I've called 5 times over the last 2 days and held over 10 minutes each time and no one answered the phone. I went in and politely told them what happened. They were extremely busy and very nice. They are just not given enough help to be successful. Walgreens corporate should be ashamed. No respect for their employees or customers. This is what happens when large corporations are allowed to push out all smaller competitors with red tape. Now they have no competition and no incentive to be good to their employees or customers. We've experienced prescription delays, lost prescriptions, rude staff, HIPPA violations and even a prescription of mine filled under my wife's name and she doesn't even take the medication. Sat in line for over an hour and then sat at the window listening to girls gossiping and chatting it up instead of doing their job!! Medication is important especially when we're sick and idk anyone who has hours to just throw away waiting for someone to do their job that they're paid to do!! Is it weird to review a Walgreens? Anyway. I enjoy my local "shop on the corner". They literally have everything I need. Toilet flooded? Have no fear, two plunger choices. I feel like cookies. Done. Oh look booze. My favorite wine 5 dollars off?!? Okay! They have some mid price wine choices too (hello meiomi ) This is shocking to me, but okay. They also have liquors. No complaints about the photo department either. My orders are always on time and correct. The pharmacists are friendly and work with you to find the best prices/options on over the counter meds and prescriptions. My only critiques are the beer choices can be lacking and the line can move slow at times for check out. I mean, I bought a maxi there the other day. Like what!? I'm trying to be as objective as possible because this is my local Walgreens. I wouldn't expect many people to consider reviews of a Walgreens because..... it's a Walgreens. But my household visits Walgreens very often, and have so for years. I feel a little background is necessary. As the caregiver of a disabled spouse I frequent pharmacies quite often, and have done so for years. We have come to recognize good and bad pharmacies. Due to the amount of times I visit pharmacies in a month, I will go out of my way to frequent a pharmacy that does a good job and provides great service. Thank God this Walgreens is one of the best one's I've visited. An added bonus is that this Walgreens is located down the street from home. So I have convenience and great service to thank the Walgreens family. When I first moved to Louisville I started using this Walgreens right away. Within a few visits the pharmacy staff began to know me by name and always courteous. They always went out of their way to work with my doctors and insurance company to make sure we were properly serviced. After three years of visiting this Walgreens I still receive the same level of service. There have been some changes and additions to the staff but the service has always been great. If you're looking for a pharmacy that you will/may frequent often, it's worth trying this Walgreens out. It's just a hop and a skip away from the Snyder on Brownsboro Road. read more

Always super friendly staff. I typically go at night when I am in need of something small and don't want to wait in the long lines at Wal-mart. I could go in for one thing, but come out with a few since they always are running really good deals and clearance items. They do have a pharmacy which is typically never busy, so filling prescriptions is fast and easy. They also have a redbox out front, so you can go in and grab everything you may need for a movie night. read more

My mom and I came here a couple months back, on Friday June 28, 2019 to be exact. We left our doctor appointment, came here to fill my prescription. When we approached the pharmacy, the pharmacy tech girl that was working seemed very uncertain of what she needed to do to fill my prescription. I handed her my ID to update my information, and my new insurance. My mom asked her how long it would be until my medicine would be ready, the pharmacy tech said 30-40 minutes. So my mom and I decided to wait since we had no where to be. We walked in almost every aisle trying to pass the time, looking at all the junk food and nicnacs. I went to the bathroom about 20 minutes after walking around the store, I came out and met back up with my mom. A few minutes go by, and my mom goes to bathroom and hands me her stuff to hold. On this day I was at this location, I was mildly injured on my thigh so I wasn't trying to walk, I just stood in the same spot my mom left me. As I waited there, the pharmacy tech girl comes around the corner, crying her eyes out! I over heard her talking amongst her coworkers not even 6 feet from where I was standing, the tech girl was saying she lost her phone. And the last place she remembered having it was in the bathroom. By this point, my mom is walking up to me, looks over at the tech and says to me " I wonder what's wrong" I told her that the tech girl lost her phone in the bathroom. We both did not see any phone in the bathroom when we went in there. So the day goes on, we end up leaving after being there for almost an hour cause the pharmacy tech girl never put my new information in properly, so the pharmacist had too. Then transferred the pick up at different Walgreens location. Now here is where the story gets good, July 1, 2019 my injured legged was getting worse. So I was barely to walk, which caused me to miss work. Around 7:30pm Monday night on the 1st of July, I was sleeping. My boyfriend hears a knock on our apartment door. He goes to answer it, then comes back in the bedroom, wakes me up, and tells me there are 3 people at our door saying I have their phone. So, as confused as any tired person is, plus grumpy from being disturbed from sleeping, I get up struggling to walk, open my apartment door, to see the PHARMACY TECH GIRL AT MY DOOR. and SHE BROUGHT TWO FRIENDS WITH HER!?? The pharmacy tech printed off pictures from Walgreens surveillance footage of me on June 28 the day I was at that Walgreens, walking into the bathroom and out. The tech girl tried to tell me her phone was being tracked to my exact apartment. So the IPhone phone tracker give her my apartment number? No I don't think so, this girl had the audacity to look up my medical information on her owe time because she had suspicion I took her phone. While she was at my door, she said my mom and I were there so long and acting weird. WHAT IN THE.. we were there so long waiting in my medicine! She kept telling me she already made a police report on me, and any time I would ask her to prove it to me of her phone being tracked to my apartment, she kept telling me she wasn't able too. Walgreens hires very unreliable employees. If Walgreens is your pharmacy, I would start looking for another pharmacy to go too. read more

Visit this store often to get random supplies as needed. The store pretty much has everything you would need - from personal care items, to baby items, medicine, groceries and the pharmacy. The staff is very friendly and provides great customer service and the prices are reasonable. My daughter enjoys walking through the toy aisle and seeing a variety of toys. Their promotional (Seasonal) aisle is always fully stocked and there is always an associate or two walking around the store ensuring customers are tended to. The pharmacy can get busy, but they do a great job filling prescriptions in a timely manner and are quick to call if there is an issue filling a prescription. Overall, it is a great store and the Redbox outside is an added bonus. read more

I am so done with this pharmacy. It takes at least 20-30 minutes of waiting to get to the pharmacy window. Then you have to wait while the techs that are clearly spread thin try to find your prescriptions. I don't have a problem with the rest of the store, but I'm taking my pharmacy business elsewhere. read more
