It was well cooked and seasoned nicely, but I did notice that it didn't come with rice unless you order it separately. The shrimp tacos were also good and I had no complaints there. They have a range of breakfast and lunch items, anything from biscuits and gravy to a burger and fries to tuna salad or soup. It's par for the course and does the trick if you are hungry and don't want to walk anywhere outside of the courthouse. The prices are reasonable and they also have ready to grab snacks too, including local treats from Kizito. Oh, and a medley of vending machines that contain all sorts of fun junk food and drinks. I was in ever so dire neeeeed of some inexpensive wine (because there was a winter storm coming and a party to attend and I needed to be prepared for both!) The center aisle of shelves is mostly wine. It comes up to about waist/ribcage height (on a short, short gal like me). Everything is easy to see and easy to reach. And I was pleased and impressed with the selection of local options! Not the biggest or best selection ever, but for a small, neighborhood liquor store is was nice to see. Prices are decent, the staff is as friendly as any liquor store staff I have encountered (which might not actually be saying much, but as a comparison...you know...)
