It has now been over two weeks since my X-rays were taken, and I have yet to receive the results. This delay is extremely concerning, especially given the importance of timely medical information for proper care and peace of mind. In addition to the delay, I have made multiple calls to your office seeking assistance and clarification. Unfortunately, each interaction has been frustrating and unproductive. I have been transferred between representatives without resolution, and on several occasions, I was assured that a supervisor would return my call. To date, I have not received any follow-up as promised. This lack of communication, accountability, and urgency is unacceptable. Had to change appointment because double booking. Was moved to 3:30 and i arrived 15 minutes early. One hour after and have not even been called to remove metals etc (i alreadybdid) for an mri. Bty, the closest handicap parking is like 20 parking spots away. When we asked about the delay then they oh we r ready for you... look for another place. read more

I was there to have 3 procedures performed in the beginning of April. Firstly, I was shocked at the price I needed to pay upfront. I had my first imaging done & was told it wasn't necessary for the next one, but I still had the 3rd one to have performed. No big deal. I finished with the other procedures & left. After a day or two I realized, wait - I am probably owed a refund for the one thing that was not performed. I called billing & they did refund me for that. But, while on the phone I had asked why I was charged for a mammogram. It should be covered once annually as I am over 40. The answer was, basically, I needed to wait until my insurance had processed the claim & I would be notified if a refund was owed to me. I waited a couple of more weeks, called again, and was told the same thing & that it could take up to 45 days & AGAIN, I would be NOTIFIED if a refund was due to me. 45 days would have taken me to about end of May beginning of June. Cut to ending the first week of July, and so I call again. The agent starts telling me what I was responsible for, what I had already been refunded for, and then that I was, in fact, owed a refund of $372.37 for the mammogram. I don't understand how I am owed this money & have not ever, not one attempt was made to contact me to refund me my money. If I hadn't called again - they would have just kept my money? Shady shady shady business. Will never return here. read more

Arrived for my 8:15am appointment at 8am. There was a line to check-in and I didn't get checked in until 8:17am. I did check in on online (I highly recommend anyone coming here do so) but needed to know if I owed anything. There was an issue with my billed amount that the gentlemen at reception noticed right away. So it took a little longer for me to be called back as he wanted to get that resolved. I wasn't called back until 9:05am. My mammo went fine and the techs were very friendly. I was also able to speak with the manager on duty as I had another appointment schedule at 11:15am and he was able to speak with the tech and get me in sooner. I really appreciated the effort as I wasn't expecting to be able to get in sooner. I will share, it was a rough morning for them as their X-ray tech called out so they were behind there. Their CT machine was down so they were dealing with that as well. The service has always been exceptional here and I feel for their situation this morning but I also recognize, it's not the norm for them. Because this is one of only the imaging locations in the area, it's super busy. So give yourself a little extra time for check-in and upload your documents/check-in online if you can. read more

Be very carefull when you visit here. I went for a PET scan and paid my deductible only to receive and additional amount due. Upon review, they billed my insurance company under a doctors name instead of SimonMed. Therefore, my insurance company didn't pay the entire balance due to them because that doctor wasn't in my preferred provider resulting in an unpaid balance. After multiple calls between SimonMed and my Insurance company, I was told multiple times that the problem would be fixed, only to find out every time that that wasn't the case. The ineptitude of this company is totally ridiculous and I would suggest finding another provider. read more

Excellent experience!!! Appointment scheduling online was very easy. Front Desk staff was very friendly, efficient & helpful. The waiting room was clean & comfortable & I only had to wait 10 minutes. The dressing room was clean & they had comfortable, modest gowns to wear for the Mammogram. I was able to keep my belongings with me the whole time. I require a brain CT-Scan with contrast, and from the first interaction, I have experienced serious deficiencies in patient care: Four unsuccessful attempts to schedule the study: I called four separate times to arrange the appointment. On each occasion, I was told that someone would return my call, but I never received any callback. Forced to schedule through the website: Due to the lack of response, I had no option but to schedule the appointment myself through the SimonMed website. Appointment visit, but unable to perform the exam: When I attended the appointment, I was informed that the CT-Scan with contrast could not be performed at that location because they did not have the required contrast available, a detail that no one had ever communicated to me. That day, they rescheduled me at another location where I was told they could do it. Second appointment canceled without effective notification: Today, I arrived punctually to the new appointment and was told that the machine was down and therefore they could not proceed with the test. I was informed that SimonMed had attempted to call me, yet I never received any call. Confusing and contradictory communication: What is most concerning is that yesterday I received an email confirming my appointment, which clearly shows a complete lack of organization, consistency, and respect toward the patient. Result: I have lost time, effort, and resources, and I was subjected to unnecessary stress and uncertainty, without receiving a level of care that meets minimum standards of professionalism and reliability. I respectfully request that this situation be reviewed, corrected, and appropriate measures be taken so that no other patient has to go through this. read more

The facility looks neglected; the walls need painting, and the hand sanitizer dispensers are broken and out of order. The main entrance lacks accessibility features for people with disabilities, and the MRI equipment consists of older models. We had to wait over an hour for our appointment. I will not return to this location Occoee. However, the care provided by the doctor who performed the MRI was very kind. read more

Its unfortunate to see how bad the service at Simonmed had become. The employees are overworked they are understaffed and the patients are suffering because of it. Between June and October I had 2 CT SCANS. In June everything went fine but by October a under trained employee opened a duplicate account for me causing my doctor's order to be in one account and my insurance correspondence in the other. I went in for my October appt and they sent me away telling me that my insurance had denied my CT when i had the approval letter in my hand. After I got that mess cleaned up they changed my account to self pay because of the duplicate account and started sending me bills even thi they had my ins info and I had already paid my portion. Its now January and im STILL waiting for them to fix their mess that they created and bill my Ins properly. Its just become frustrating to deal with them at this point and I will be getting my scans elsewhere from now on. read more

DO NOT GO TO SIMONMED FOR A XRAY. SIMONMED on line do not allow you to make appointments for x-rays They say walk-ins are welcome. What they don't tell you is walk ins are worked in. I don't know who came up with the idea to have x-rays as a walk in and not allow them to make appointments but they need their head x-rayed. x-rays do not take a long time but if they have to be worked in after they finish the appointments for cat scans and MRI the x-ray patient has to sit a long time. I would have come out better going somewhere else. Went for a CT scan. Appointment at 1:45pm. Arrived at 1:36pm. 3:30pm and still hadn't been called. Receptionist is NOT properly wearing a face mask. They are not cleaning between patients either. Honestly did not feel safe so decided to leave at 3:30pm and will be going somewhere else where they respect people's time and most importantly, their health. Should have left sooner. read more

Everything needs improvement. Registration is a disorganized mess. Long lines& wait periods. My Xray tec was rude and one of these days I predict he will be slapped if he doesn't learn to ask if he can touch someone before he starts moving their bodies around to what he needs for his Xray. I haven't had a great experience with SimonMed in general terms (i.e., difficulty in scheduling an appointment, speaking to a person, or obtaining my medical records), but my most recent experience at the Ocoee location was truly one of the worst interactions I've had with a medical facility of any kind. First, I arrived at the location and was informed that the doctor's order was incorrect (even though it had been sent weeks in advance) because it didn't include both a mammogram and an ultrasound. I informed the front-desk staff member that my doctor only requested an ultrasound and they refused to see me unless I had an order for both screenings. While still at the location I was able to speak to my doctor, whose staff faxed a new order with both screenings. Once the front-desk staff member reviewed the order, she told me I didn't need a mammogram or ultrasound because of the SimonMed radiologist's recommendation on my previous mammogram in 2020. I explained that I had a heightened level of risk due to my personal and family history and that my gynecologist had requested I have an ultrasound. The front-desk staff member was quite rude and refused to let me talk to a clinical member of their staff to explain the situation and refused to check me in for the screenings. Thankfully I was able to get the ultrasound my doctor ordered at a different facility, and they found multiple masses that need additional testing. Should I have trusted the judgment of the radiologist and the front-desk staff member's guidance at SimonMed Ocoee I would have waited until next year to do my screening. Needless to say, will never return to SimonMed and will let people know to be extremely cautious with trusting their care and advice. read more

They then gave me a numerical urgent number assigned to me and today Friday still no refund They know I'm disabled and on a fixed income I haven't been able to buy anything including food!!!!!! read more

While I've had good experiences when I've received service, the scheduling process is flawed and I've had another poor experience. I had used the online scheduler to make my appointment but I continued to get reminders to reschedule. I called and talked to someone who confirmed my appointment and corrected the "duplicate order" in their system. The day before my appointment, I received a VM notifying me my appointment was canceled because the system says I need a different test than what my doctor ordered. I was surprised to learn that my doctor's orders would be changed and my appointment canceled by their system without confirming with my doctor or me first! I asked to have my appointment reinstated but they refused and no one has called me back with a resolution. My healthcare is now delayed by an incompetent, flawed scheduling process. read more

Horrible experience, the place is overly crowded. I came for a 8:00 am and double checked with the reception on several occasions to let her know I was there. After an hour , another reception reminded me that my appointment was for 8:00. she assumed that I was late. I reminded her that I have been sitting her since 8:00. I left the facilty at 10:00 am Later on, the tech Ms. India that was performing my procedure reminded me rudely that my vein would pop if I bend my elbow. Horrible, Horrible experience. Been coming here for multiple reasons and today was the worst. My mother had an appointment two days ago and the wrong procedure was ordered, between the miscommunication and the wrong order done, she had to make another appointment to come back. On the second day of her appointment, she shows on time for check up. Waited an hour for her exam, during the wait, we tired to make sure we didn't missed her name since she had to wait in the hall due to limited space and the front receptionist was short and seemed to be in robot mode. What is more upsetting she was told arrive with a full bladder and expect to hold it for an hour. This is not patient care and I am ultrasound tech myself! We weren't even able to be seen that day since again the order was wrong and it took them an hour later to figure that out so we have to come back another day. Very frustrating with them read more

I usually do not review anything other than restaurants, but I felt very very welcomed coming here this morning. I had a Small Bowel Study and Upper GI done. I was right on time for my appointment, at he front desk Jeb took care of my paperwork, and another lady there in thE front as well was very welcoming. Then Stephanie Whitted (X-Ray Tech) , took me in, about 10 mins later, to start my fluoroscopy X-rays and what not. Her self and Dave Lenczyk (Radiology PA) were amazing. They seem like they love their job, fun and very professional. I really enjoyed coming here because the whole way I was welcomed, taken care of very professionally and politely. Zero stars if I could. I scheduled and confirmed my imaging appointment and showed up 1/2 hr before scheduled time to allow for whatever paperwork I need to update. All they kept telling me was to continually take a seat. Mind you, they have not checked me in or anything. The 3 women at the desk have yet to take my dr referral/ order. My appt. time came and went and nothing. Needless to say, I left and will never ever go back. This location is horrible. You would think that the continued presence of COVID would be an incentive to get people in and out but no, that is too much to ask. Another thing, STOP thinking everyone do everything on smart phones and pc! Some people are comfy with in person interaction. I have gone to the SimonMed location on Orange Ave. on numerous occasions for Mammograms and was always pleased with their services. They referred me to the Ocoee office for a Biopsy. This was one of the worst experiences I've had in a Medical office. The office staff were in total chaos and the Waiting Room was one of the most Unclean places I've been. Especially since the on-set of Covid. There was literally 'standing room only' in the Reception area. I left withOUT getting my biopsy due to the office being in such chaos and was totally relieved to leave. I will never return to the Ocoee office again and would encourage anyone who is scheduled in this office to pursue other arrangements! read more

In October I went to SimonMed Imaging in OCOEE and when I walked in, the first thing I got was a big welcome and a smile from the people at the front desk. I didn't have to wait long at all and while I was inside for the test, they made me feel very good and comfortable. The staff it's very professional, kind and respectful. They really care for their patients and take the time to do it. I have to say Jeb #1, Jeb #2, Nelson, Chris, Joe and the rest of the staff, you guys are the best!! 1st, I wasn't aware they had a sister property so I ended up at the other bc when I made my appointment that information wasn't given. 2nd, waited an hour to be seen but I'm sure I wasn't the only one bc others were complaining who came after me. 3rd, due to Covid-19 a lot of us had to wait in the halls, which is fine , but no chairs were around to sit so we had to stand for these 30min to an hour. Last, the two young man at the desk one latino and the other white, was terrible at acknowledging you when you went up to ask a question and so forth. That was my first experience. read more

We have been to the Ocoee II Simon Med several times and every time it has been a wonderful experience. (All locations are not the same, and I can't say that we have had a wonderful experience at all locations). Ash (front desk) has ALWAYS reached out to us and made us feel special. Even though they process a LOT of patients through this office, our wait has been very reasonable and the office feels squeaky clean. Mike (the MRI tech) goes above and beyond when caring for patient comfort... and trust me, with clusterphobia and issue, that is not always easy. Thank you Mike for helping us through this and being so on-point and compassionate. Subrina, the site manager, reached out to us to assure that we had a pleasant experience.
