The tech was nice, helpful and personable, but he cost me valuable time. I went in Wed at 2PM. After filling out all my paperwork, was told there was a 1-hour wait. I rescheduled for Saturday at 8AM. My technician (open MRI) arrived at 8:20AM, and I was not seen until 8:30AM. Perhaps this is standard for the medical field. All that means is that the medical field is horrible at time management and respecting their patients. read more

They tell you to drink 32oz of water before an ultrasound then leave you waiting in the lobby forever with a full bladder. Talked to several girls at the desk and was told 2-3 more minutes by one and "I'll let you know when they are ready for you by another. Least friendly people at the desk I have ever met. This location is horrible, would not recommend. Not to mention their price gauging. read more

I was scheduled an appointment at this location just to arrive there and be told that my appointment will be charged in early before the year fee. And I stated that why didn't the scheduler notate that when she gave me this appointment so I pretty much drove there for no reason. Then I asked her woman to schedule me when I should be scheduled, and that is for a June date. So I definitely was irritated, but I don't think it was the young ladies fault at the desk. read more

Almost an hour goes by and when you ask how much longer they say another 45 minutes. To then only get a notification that you missed your appointment and it was rescheduled. Title: Outrageous lack of professionalism and empathy for the patient I have called three times, and yesterday I went in person to the Hunter's Creek office to pick up my report. I was told it would be ready that same day. Today, I've spent the entire day checking the patient portal, hoping to find the report I was promised. Nothing. No updates. Late this afternoon, I called again. The woman on the phone told me, calmly: "I already sent your message to the radiologist. He said the report will be ready next week." Next week? After promising it would be ready yesterday? After three phone calls, an in-person visit, and a full day of stress refreshing the portal? What SimonMed is doing is completely unacceptable. Making patients beg for their own medical information, giving false timeframes, and then responding with indifference shows a shocking level of disorganization, disrespect, and administrative negligence. This isn't a simple errand -- it's about health. I'm disappointed, angry, and utterly exhausted from being treated as if my time, my health, and my peace of mind don't matter. read more

Stay far away from SimonMed. I made an appointment and got bounced around multiple times. Stayed flexible and went to two different offices and still couldn't get something very simple done. Went there and waited three hours this morning without so much as an apology or hey it's gonna take a little longer. When I asked, they kept telling me they were with the same patient and that I was double booked even though I confirmed several times that that was not the case and even spoke to a rep from their company who MADE THE APPT FOR ME. I watched the office fill up an empty twice while I waited with no explanation or reason didn't get the procedure done and now have to find another company and reset my doctors appt. My doctors office faxed a STAT x-ray order twice. I went to the facility after the first fax and was told there is no order. Their answer "Sometimes it takes awhile." I called my doctors office so they faxed the order again. It is now 4 hrs after the order was faxed twice. No call or message. It is now 1711 on a Friday so now I have to wait 3 days for an x-ray to determine if I have a pelvic fracture. Doesn't this office understand what STAT means? I was trying to avoid an ER visit. I will find another facility to have future tests., This front desk does not care about patient quality or patient care. Obviously, they don't know what a fracture is. Not helpful at all and very unprofessional. read more

I would rate a ZERO STAR if I could. I'm just in shock about what the front desk lady did to my mother who was told to be in the center at 7:30 am since she was having a CT Scan with contrast and she would be the first appointment. Although It was raining my mother knocked the door so she could wait inside and this lady just simply told her she wouldn't open door until 7:45 for her. I mean I cannot understand how someone could be such a moron and inhumane leaving my 85 yr old outside getting wet instead of letting her seating in the lobby. By the way I had to go to CVS and get an umbrella for her and made me got late to work. I hope the manager give a lesson to this front desk employee on how to handle such situations. read more

For some odd reason this location can not communicate with patients or doctors when it comes to exams. My mother has been sent to this location for a CT scan and they had the wrong order among other matters, it's giving us headaches and just a bunch of misleading information each time. PLEASE GET IT TOGETHER OR JUST CLOSE AND HAVE A BETTER COMPANY TAKE OVER!!! We personally prefer the Kailey Ave. location near downtown Orlando way better. read more

Had me wait over an hr and a half for my scheduled apt and took 3 people that walked in after me for the same test before me and told me that they went first because they had to hold their bladder. Realized that everyone they took before me and the only other white person in the building were Spanish so the Spanish workers took them first and made me and the other white person wait. Avoid at all cost. The front desk people are slow and lazy and so unprofessional! I had an appt for 245pm and I had to drink 32 ounces of water an hour before. So I am drinking 32 ounces of water since 145pm. I got in around 225pm. Fast forward to 4pm - no call and suddenly they realize they don't have my script. (I spoke with my doctor and confirmed it was faxed before I went into the appt). I had been asking every 15 minutes and was reassured I was the next one to be called. That was a lie. Everyone that came in after me with appointments after me got called in. Not once did the lazy girls upfront take a look as to why I was still the only one sitting in the lobby. They are singing, cleaning pens, you name it. Anything but working. It's all "mi corazón" "mi amor". No. Do your job and stop wasting time. Add to that - Apparently they only have one tech doing everything. I will never go back there and you should avoid it too. They are quick to charge but damn they took forever to give me the refund. I ask them for an explanation and they didn't even look at me much less give me an answer. So rude. read more

zero stars!!! Beware of this facility. You do not need to do any screening just to satisfy a radiologist. As per my doctor's instruction, I scheduled an appointment for an ultrasound and I got a confirmation message from this facility. Then after a week, I received a voice msg saying I need to do a mammogram along with an ultrasound because the radiologist suggested that. (I never knew Radiologist is more important than a physician) And the radiologist will be on vacation on the scheduled date so I need to reschedule. I called 5 times and told each one my situation as I need only an ultrasound, I did a mammogram from another facility 6 months back. Also emphasized that the doctor asked for ultrasound alone. As I am starting a new job next week which is 1 hour away from here(There is no way I can come between 8-5), this was my last week to do any screening and they are telling me this at the last moment. If they had at least informed me that their facility does not perform ultrasound alone, they will need a mammogram along with ultrasound, I would have scheduled an appointment with another radiology center. Later, I went to this facility in person and the radiologist told me the same thing. The radiologist was the worst and was confronting me about this. She called the office manager to get me out of there. Later before reaching home, I got a call from SimonMed saying they can schedule the same day for an ultrasound alone !!! How did the situation change suddenly!!! As I do not want to go to SimonMed again and see the radiologist who behaved harshly, I canceled that. My question is if my physician and I need an ultrasound (and clearly mentioned I did a mammogram 6 months back) why are they so stubborn for a mammogram plus ultrasound???? read more

I had a 9:05 appointment on the day of the Hurricane Ian so I called the number listed and was told they were open till 12. I drove 30 minutes in the storm to have X-rays. I got there to a closed building. I never received a phone call or email that they would be canceling my appointment. Very unprofessional business. I would like to write a positive review on Simon Hunter's Creek and also Simon Heritage Square. For the past few months I've been using both facilities and starting at front desk to all technicians, every one has been very helpful and professional. Jaritza at Hunter's Creek took to time to contact my doctor to obtain a new order for my procedure so I would not have to reschedule or cancel my appointment. Techs explained every everything before beginning the test and my doctors get my reports on time for my f/u appointments. Thank you!! read more

I am a person that does not usually leave reviews. But, in this case, I simply had to leave my comments about Paul, the X-ray Tech. This young man treated me with utmost respect, showing care and empathy towards me, as he understood In how much pain I was. I can honestly say that I felt as if my own son was taking care of me. I believe in commending someone's good work when they deserve it, and Paul is definitely an asset to SimonMed Imaging. May God always bless you Paul. I wish you the best. Don't use SimonMed -- they don't know what they are doing. Had an appoint ment booked at the wrong location -- they switched me to the correct location and told me don't drink anything after midnight. I went online a few days later to register and it showed my appointment at the wrong location for a different day. I called and they told me, don't worry about what it shows online because it's not always right. She told me I was confirmed for today at 9a at the location I wanted. She added that I had to drink 32 oz of water an hour before the appointment. Conflicting information from the first guy setting up my appointment. I get a voicemail yesterday confirming my appointment for today and not to drink anything after midnight. I show up this morning and NO APPT - it is tomorrow at the wrong location. DON'T USE THIS PLACE -- I wouldn't trust them with any of my tests --- they give out wrong and conflicting information. Never again! read more

Office staff was extremely rude, not just to me, but to others in the waiting area. One receptionist spoke to a client who struggled with English like he was stupid. I felt sorry for him. When people are seeking medical assistance, they are vulnerable and shouldn't be treated so poorly. I was told to arrive 15 minutes before my appointment time. I did, and still waited over an hour to be seen. I had entered all of my insurance information ahead of time, as instructed. The rude office lady kept saying I must not have because it wasn't in her system. She talked to me like I was stupid because I had not pre-entered my doctors orders, when I actually had done so. Either their computer system is horrible, or she's completely incompetent. Or both. Thank goodness I had brought them with me, just in case. The entire time I felt like I was inconveniencing her by being there. She was constantly sighing and rolling her eyes. She never did one thing to actually be helpful. It's a pity they pay her. After all that, the x-ray tech screwed up the images and I have to have them redone. I WILL NOT be returning to any SimonMed locations, and my doctor will no longer be referring patients to them. read more
