If you need a Covid testing or vaccine and you are around the area this is an excellent spot to go to. I first came to this location a few months ago to get a Covid test for traveling purposes. I explained that I needed it within a certain timeframe and they rushed to get me my results quicker! I came back to get the Covid vaccine and was seen within 15 minutes. They took more precautions with sectioned off areas, which I appreciated. They go through the procedure you are going through, along with a paper that will explain it more. The nurses are always my favorite part about coming here. They make you feel that you are in a safe zone, while being friendly. Overall great service! read more

I went there for a Rapid COVID test on a Sunday around 11:30am. I waited in a line at the door for people who hadn't visited yet, then the nurse gave me intake paperwork to fill out in my car and bring back. After bringing it back, I received a text link to complete my registration by uploading my license and insurance info. They said it would be around 2.5 hours, so I went home and came back at 1:30. At 1:50 I was called and told to get in a different line for those who had been called back. I noticed a sign at the door saying they were out of covid tests at this time, meaning they had registered a person for every test they had, and they would be getting more tests overnight. I waited in the line until someone came and got me for my test. They called the person in front of me and the person behind by name. They asked me what my name was and looked at the form to confirm it was right. I know my name is unfamiliar, and most don't know how to say it on first glance, but the effort would've been nice, otherwise it would've been nice if they'd given the same treatment to those before or after me. It's not a big deal, but it highlights my 'different-ness' and feels crappy. After, I was taken inside to sit in a chair, asked to confirm my name, birthday, and phone number on the form, took down some info like height and weight, checked my pulse, and then swabbed away. Overall, it was quick and easy. My results were back via text within 2 hours. Overall, I have 3 things I think could be improved: 1. The chairs inside were not 6 feet away from each other, so the person getting tested next to me was less than 6 feet away from me when we both took our masks off to be tested. I know this is difficult because they don't have a lot of space, but it felt precarious since she was facing perpendicular to me. (-1 star for this) 2. The signs outside telling patients which line to stand in are only in English. There were a lot of people there who were speaking Spanish, and I think it would be for the best to put up a sign in both English and Spanish just because there are so many Spanish speakers in the area, and a lot of them were asking the person checking people in where they should go. (-1 star for this) 3. The name thing I mentioned earlier. Again, it's not a big deal, but it feels crappy. (I can't in good conscience take off a star because the medical workers at this facility were doing their jobs fantastically and this is not a part of their job that's important enough) Overall, I'm really happy with the testing experience here! Wouldn't go here again. Went in 2 hours before they closed, got seen about 5 minutes before they closed. Care provider was in the room for about 30 seconds, looked at my hand injury and said "that looks painful, if it doesn't get better in a few days, make an appointment with your doctor" Gee.... Thanks. I understand they want to go home also, but the woman emptying the trash in the room literally spent more time with me than the care provider. Stop taking patients an hour before you close or something, but don't provide horrible care and bill me for it. It was a complete waste of time and my hand is now far worse. They offer Covid-19 testing. I recommend you wait in the line at the convention center or another testing site instead.... might be a long wait but you'd get your results in a timely manner. My husband has been waiting TWO WEEKS for his, and they keep assuring us that "any day now" they'll have them. I had to be tested twice, they called me and told me my results were negative... when I called to verify the date of the test, they said they didn't have any results for me at all....? Not sure how that works. Now I have to be on standby to see what my results will be for either test. Definitely NOT something you want to be unsure or make a mistake about!!!! read more

When I approached the entrance, I was given a new patient form that needed to be filled out. When I asked for a pen, she responded that I could go to Publix to buy one. If they want to spin this as a covid issue, maybe the other doctors offices that I've been to recently didn't get the memo. Surely the pens could be sanitized upon return. These types of urgent care facilities should only be visited when you have no other option but I recommend you driving just a little further to the next one. read more

First of all the costumer service is very rude, I went to that place three times to get my COVID test, the first time the lady told me you have to come back in 1 hr because we are out stock, I come back after One hour after I was waiting for 35 min the lady said we are out of stock, come back after 2:30pm, the third time I was waiting 40 minutes on the line in the sun and the lady said we probably not have more test for today! I am waiting in a phone call to see if we going to do more test today, if not everybody needs to come by tomorrow. Never mentioned I'm sorry or anything like that. After 15 minutes the lady send another person to tell us they are close the COVID test for the day! They don't have any empathy with people also they don't have organizations at all. BTW this is not the first time I have issues with them. Never come back to this place. read more

Hats off to this place. They are organized and compassionate despite the madness of Covid. My daughter wasn't feeling well and we went there for a Covid test. The line was long but they set my expectations correctly and told us about how long the wait would be and said they would text me when it was our turn. That was perfect. That allowed us to return home ( we live 5 minutes away) rest a little bit and return about 10 minutes before they sent the text. I love when offices understand your time is valuable too! Anyway, I wish I remember everyone's name but the guy who gave us paperwork and checked us in and the lady that administered the test were both so pleasant and professional. The staff at Paramount Urgent Care are wonderful! Starting with Theresa the receptionist who was bright and friendly and checked me in quickly and efficiently. The nurse Sharon was incredible, she made me feel like family, and put me at ease immediately, she was warm, knowledgeable, compassionate and completely took care of me! I was seen by Dr Ajay, who has a friendly and upbeat bed side manner, and took care of all of my concerns. I feel very blessed to have this brand new, and top notch facility as my local urgent care facility. The worse place to come get your COVID test! After waiting in line for 2 hrs, they gave a form to fill out. I had already told them, I was there for a COVID test for my 3 daughters. When I returned the forms I was told they didn't accept my insurance and that I probably needed to pay $100 per child. Meanwhile rich kids that go to Windermere Prep and people without insurance only paid $35 and some of them nothing. This place is a scam. Do not go there. Awful location. As a healthcare provider for over 20 years the way this place runs is definitely profit over health. Scheduled an appt for 12:05pm. Told upon check in 2 hour wait. So waited , then was told "oh it's time for our one hour lunch ", if you are already 2 hours behind maybe you need to stagger your lunches , not all go at once. Then after being administered the Covid vaccine you don't even follow guidelines and monitor anyone for the requisite 15 minutes. Poor management of patients , poor patient care. Why make appointments if you don't even try to honor them. Let alone you are a walk in urgent care. How you end up 3 hours behind is just poor office management. This place is doing an amazing job at providing two different Covid tests along with the antibody test. They do have signs out front. Checking in goes to one side and a line on the other side for those that have been called to have their service. There is a line most of the time and people wait in their cars so it is hard to tell where you are at in the line. If you are doing a Covid test, plan on at least an hour. It could be up to three hours before they call you in. When we have gone, it's been about an hour to an hour and a half wait. I really like that you can scan the ID and insurance cards on your phone while you wait in the car. When we were there last night, many people were walking up for their results. I didn't understand why because the results are sent to you as a text or phone call. However, I think I understand now. My husband received his results but I did not. I requested a hard copy but it could take up to 48 hours to receive it in my email. I still do not have results. The first time that my husband and son went for a test, they never received the results. Instead, their results were sent by text to another family member that lives in a different town. At least it was a family member so we found them. I am not sure where my results went. I hope to find them this weekend. I cannot imagine what they are going through there. It's busy and a lot is going on and they are doing the best they can in this pandemic. read more

Almost 2 weeks ago went here to get a COVID rapid test- I was exhibiting symptoms and had been exposed to a friend who tested positive- they did a nasal swab, barely going up my nose, and it came back negative. They assured me the test was accurate. I was still feeling awful so I decided to get another test done at a clinic and it came back positive. So please be wary, if you go here and get a negative test, they aren't too accurate. Don't put yourself or others at risk. Stay safe! read more

Overall: Will be back should I need medical assistance. Great, new establishment not for from home. Wife convinced me to go this am and glad I did because I can see a big difference in my health within 8 hours of treatment. Average score is 4.5 stars but due to personal experience will be rounding down. Service: 4 stars- Welcomed warmly upon entry and quickly went through what I needed to fill out. Young lady was being trained by another team member but no problems occurred and they "tagged" team very well. Brought back by a medical assistant and initial checks performed. Medical assistant bedside manner was less warm/inviting (more matter of fact) so I started questioning the place. Then the PA, Whitney Daily, came in and elevated my experience back on track. Great bedside manner, straight shooter, and spent time answering questions and concerns. Didn't feel rushed. She changed the protocol some to meet my concerns about ability to swallow large pills to start with. Received shot by a nurse that was also to the point but when I started getting nauseated (not due to the shot) she quickly grabbed a container and asked me to sit down. She left and I never saw her again but the medical assistant came in immediately afterward to get the room ready for next customer while I was sitting there with cold sweats/pale. Then she walked out. After a couple of moments got my composure back and went to checkout. Checkout was just as good as checkin. Big plus I was able to get my prescription here and didn't have somewhere else. This would have been an easy 5 star overall with a bit more warm presentations/care from 2 of 5 people I interacted with. Environment: 5 stars- Nice new facility and close to home. I called to see what the wait time was and they said 30 minutes. I brought my 5 yr old in burning up with fever and a possible ear infection. He had to wait almost 2 hours to be seen. We kept asking why it was taking so long and all they would say was 10 more minutes. By the time he was seen and got a prescription the pharmacy was closed. So I had a bad experience back in 2020 with covid testing and the providers "opinions" on my case. But that was then. I went in TWO WEEKS AGO to be seen and tested because I'm pregnant and was super sick with all the covid symptoms and was told to go be seen. The provider I saw kind of brushed me off and said something along the lines of "you can test if you want to" which I did. I did a PCR and was told I'd have my results the next day, maybe 2. It has been 2 weeks and I still have no results and I can't get anybody on the phone. I NEEDED to know if it was covid because covid can affect my pregnancy and treatment moving forward. But now I have no answers. I do not recommend this urgent care and I should have known better than to return after my experiences in 2020. Now I have to find out if they charged my insurance for a covid test that was probably never sent in, because I am NOT paying for it. read more

This facility is excellent! The girls at the front desk are so welcoming, kind and sweet. Teresa is so personable and makes even a trip to the DR fun! Sheron will make you feel at ease and really listens to you. You don't need an appointment and they get you in very quickly. The best part is they can fill your prescription right there and then! The entire staff was professional, attentive and friendly. The wait time to be seen was very short ( less than 15 minutes) despite it being very busy (mostly for COVID tests, I would assume). Very efficient operation. Wait time to get tests (COVID, X-ray and EKG) was maybe 5-10 minutes each -- much shorter than any previous experiences in an ER. The doctor was very knowledgeable and made sure I understood the diagnosis and treatment. I highly recommend this urgent care facility. read more

EXTREMELY rude staff, i went with my grandparents to try and get tested and within Minutes of us being out there waiting one of the nurses came out with an extreme attitude. My grandfather who has Alzheimer's dropped a bag on the floor and instead of her simply asking him to pick it up she decided to take it upon herself to ridicule him in front of everyone with a slick remark "oh nice let's just throw garbage on the floor". Went to this Paramount Urgent care today right around the corner from my house , I really felt very good there , the ladies are super nice , very professional and the office was nice and clean , they definitely have a system to get you in and out which is organized and efficient, I saw Dr Sung Kim and it was a pleasure he is thorough and easy to feel comfortable with , Patricia took my vitals and was my first point of contact, and Sheron was my exit contact I'd give them all 5 stars courteous, professional and nice polite what more did I need ? I went to Paramount to get a Rapid Covid test. I was quoted 45-60 minute wait, but only ended up waiting 20 minutes. I was told to fill out the paper work and provide insurance information from my car which made me feel very comfortable and safe. Once I was called into the office the staff was very friendly and efficient. The woman who completed my test was professional but still talked to me and made the whole process stress free. read more

Front desk has no organizational skills. Went with my husband to get a PCR Rapid test. We waited for over 3 hours. We both completed the intake form at the same time, we continued to wait. After an hour. my husband receives a text to then complete the online form. I waited for my text with the link for about half an hour, I decided to go inside and ask why I had mot received the text. The front desk employee insisted she had sent it to my cell phone, after having to show her my text messages she said she would send it again...not acknowledging her error. We continued to wait and wait in the car. I again went inside to ask what was the delay, I found my form with personal information sitting on the counter of the front desk. I asked for my husband's, she told me his had not been received yet. I reminded her that my husband submitted his before mine. I paid $150.00 for my test finally getting the test. I had to remind the tech that it was the PCR rapid test not the regular rapid COVID. My husband came to front desk to ask when would he be attended and was then called. On top of all this the cash register employee did not give me my payment receipt, when I went back to ask, with no courtesy, she told me to sit down and wait. By then I was furious and frustrated. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. Employees need customer service skills training and organizational skills. Hope this can be corrected. read more

I wish I had the experience that all of these 5 star reviewers had. Unfortunately, we have decided to not return to this place. We didn't have to wait long which was good, however, we had many other issues. We went there for myself and my 10 month old daughter. I was having gastrointestinal issues and she had a suspected eye infection. 1. I asked them to fill out a form for my INSURANCE. I was told "it can be done, but it's at the discretion of the provider so if they don't want to fill it out they don't have to". hm, ok. Well the nurse practitioner agreed to fill it out, but only filled out the one for me. Handed both sheets back with that one on top and the one for my daughter was completely blank. I didn't notice until I went to submit it a few days later (so I guess that's my fault). 2. I asked them for a form that says my daughter can return to daycare. They gave me discharge paperwork for caring for an infected head wound. I didn't notice this until I got home, so I called and they told me I had to physically go there to pick up the corrected form. 3. Went to the pharmacy to pick up the RX for myself and my daughter, they only had mine. No record of my daughter's. I asked them to resubmit it, went to the pharmacy 2 hours later, still no record of it. They suggested I physically go there to pick up a paper copy of the RX. 4. When I drove all the way back to pick up the corrected paperwork that THEY incorrectly gave me and the RX that THEY couldn't seem to get through to the pharmacy, I stood there at the desk for over 30 minutes. I was shocked they didn't have this ready to go at the front desk for me after having so many calls with them regarding these issues. They didn't even have the RX already signed by the NP ready to go, knowing I was picking it up. 5. When I finally did get the RX for my daughter, we put it on per the instructions, it got progressively worse that day and the next day she woke up and one of her eyes was almost completely swollen shut. So I had to take the day off of work on Monday to take her to her pediatrician. Turns out the ointment that this Nurse Practitioner prescribed has a tendency to CAUSE contact conjunctivitis! So instead of helping clear up whatever was going on with my daughter's eye, I was prescribed an ointment that made it worse. I got eye drops from her real doctor and the infection cleared up in a day. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Keep in mind that I was recovering from a stomach virus myself, on top of having a sick child and was dealing with all of this CRAP that is simply poor service and poor organization. read more
