The facility appeared questionable, as I was unable to verify any valid medical license, and the examination table had an unsanitary pad on it. My son was experiencing severe abdominal pain and nausea, so they ordered strep, COVID, and flu tests. However, the strep swab was taken only from the side of his mouth near his teeth, and the nasal swab barely touched the outer edge of his nostril, which raised concerns about the accuracy of the testing. Approximately 15 minutes later, the doctor informed me that my son had tested positive for strep and immediately recommended an antibiotic injection, along with medication dispensed directly from their clinic. Given the circumstances, I was uncomfortable with this approach and requested an oral antibiotic instead. They also did not accept insurance, and the total cost was nearly $500. Overall, I am questioning whether the tests were conducted properly and whether the medication provided is appropriate. read more

I normally don't write reviews, but this was an exceptional experience. If you're anything like me, trips to the doctor are stressful, especially when feeling very unwell. The paramedic who took care of me initially had a very calming demeanor. He was transparent in how they conduct care, didn't leave anything out, and made sure I understood their policies. The provider was concise on the medications they recommended, took her time and made sure all of my questions were answered. What stood out the most was the paramedics kind and gentle character. He really made me feel at ease and took his time. (I'm from the north east and you just don't get that from many providers) I get strep regularly and have never been offered injectable antibiotics, anti inflammatory, steroids and b12 in office. I can't say I ever made it through the waiting room so my experience is base purely on the physical business and my minimal interaction at the front desk. I am on vacation and was looking for a check up because I believe I have strep throat. I found them as they were the closest walk in that was open. The site appears legit so I made my appt. Took an uber. Firstly it's in a kind of scary area so I was a little worried walking around outside of the office. Once I got inside it seemed clean and organized. I got to the front desk and the receptionist immediately tells me they don't take any insurance. I have insurance- I am not paying out of pocket and especially not paying straight cash for what seems like a pretty shotty place. So I walked straight back out and got an uber back to my hotel. $20 wasted and still feeling like garbage. If they do not take any insurance then they need to state that clearly on their website. I believe there is something that says 'no insurance necessary'..... so either they don't take insurance or they just wanted to take me for a ride. I think it depends on who you see. I was in Orlando last n vacation and woke up on the third day (a Sunday) with a completely swollen face. No idea what I was allergic to but I clearly need to be seen by someone. Wanting to stay out of the ER I opted for urgent care instead. I found this place though google and on google it does have almost 5 stars with many many reviews. That's why we went here. So that that for what you will. The guy at the front dest couldn't have been nicer. Quickly got me checked in and to a room. There was no wait and I was the only person there. He was also the nurse/PA on staff that day so he came back to take my preliminary info before the doctor. Again could not have been nicer or more professional. When the doctor came in it was sort of a different story. He came into the room within 5 min of the PA leaving so that was good. Bit he seemed incredibly disinterested. He maybe spent 5 min with me before deciding what to do and left. Did not talk me though anything, just said this is what we're doing and left. Didn't ask about any other medications, did not walk me though any potential side effects. Didn't really hear my entire explanation about what is going on. So that honestly stressed me out and kind of kissed me off. It felt like I was being disregarded. I would have understood more if they were busy but I was the only person in or out while I was there. He sent the Pa back in to administer treatment and he was agin very nice and took my questions and tried to distract me and joke around with my husband and I while he did so. It was so appreciated because I'm scared of needles and a big baby whenever I have to get a shot. He did get answers to my questions for me but the doctor never came back. I ended up being prescribed 3 injection medications and 5 other prescriptions. So that feels like a lot of medication for an allergic reaction. It was also quite costly as the visit and meds came to over $500. They worked so I'm not complaining but still. I was sable to go back to my originally planned day but did have to call the pharmacy twice to get questioned answered that the doctor should have answered or told me about during my visit. I also want to mention that he ordered a course of a month long steroid for two of the medications that seems unnecessary as the muse told cleared up fully after about 24 hours. After speaking with my own pharmacist they too agreed that that was unnecessary and I should do so. (Not to mention a shorter amount would have served me money) I am writing this about a week and half after my visit and have continued to have some pretty intense symptoms that I'm not sure what the cause is, side effects of medication, or from the actual illness itself. But it's going to further cost me time and money as I need to see different doctors for the various issues I'm experiencing. I'm not sure if this doctor not taking the time to hear eveything I was experiencing, thus possibly misdiagnosing me or something deeper going on but I do feel that that may have been avoided had he spent more time with me hearing everything out and telling me more about what to expect. It's also worth noting that they did not give me any sort of list of what I was given when I left. I had to call back to get it emailed to me. Additionally they called in my prescriptions directly to the pharmacy so I too did not revive a list of those either. It's just very odd to me to not explicitly tell your patients what you are administering especially as you are likely not their doctor and will need to have it added to your records. Despite being a 24/7 urgent care center, I was told the dental team wouldn't be in until 11:00 a.m. They offered me pain medication in the meantime if needed, which was appreciated. I returned promptly at 11:00 a.m., only to wait over 2 hours before someone finally took my vitals. This confused me, as I came for dental care, not a medical exam. After that, the process just got more confusing. I was suddenly taken for dental X-rays, then placed into a proper dental room. Eventually, the dentist came in, used an iPhone flashlight to look at my tooth, and confirmed it needed to be pulled -- something I already knew. He then quoted me between $2,000-$4,000 for the extraction and bone graft. I declined. Next, I was offered a shot of antibiotics, but when they checked the cost, it came out to over $500 -- again, I declined and mentioned I had antibiotics at home. When I went to check out, my bill was not the advertised $99, but instead: * $99 visit fee * $300 for X-rays * $29 for an "after-hours" fee, even though I was there at 11:00 a.m. This location claims to be open 24/7, so I don't understand how an "after-hours" fee applies during standard morning hours. When I called to clarify, the staff gave me the runaround and offered no resolution. Additionally, the dental room did not appear very clean, and I was uncomfortable with the condition of the tools and materials in the room. If I were going to have treatment done, I would have insisted they re-sanitize everything in front of me. Lastly, I was disappointed that the focus seemed more on upselling procedures (and even trying to point out unrelated dental issues) than on the actual problem I came in to fix. Whatever you do, DO NOT GO HERE! This place is a scam. My MIL became quite sick suddenly the first day of our vacation. My husband googled & found this was the closest urgent care. I arrived for them to tell me they do not accept insurance, which was the first red flag. But it was difficult to get my MIL here, & I couldn't bear dragging her somewhere else at that point. We were called into the room & nurse took vitals & told me the doctor will want a strep test. I told them why would you order a strep test w/o doc even seeing her yet??!? The room was dirty, & the medical table was one of those fold up massage looking tables. The doctor came in and listened to her back for 10 seconds. Didn't listen to her chest, check her throat, ears, or eyes, despite being told she has COPD. He ordered a covid/flu test and strep. After waiting 20 min for results that were supposed to be 10min I went to find someone, a nurse responded who told me she is preparing her injection! We were waiting on test results. Doc never came over to tell me what he was doing, then was going to give her an antibiotic that should not be given to ppl with penicillin allergies without monitoring (yes made them aware of her allergy upon arrival). By 10pm that night we were in the ER with my MIL, who had pneumonia and sepsis. Her oxygen levels were very low. This places just wants your money and they are preying on tourists! read more

Had an allergic reaction late on a Saturday evening. Arrived at 11:15 out in 45 mins with the reaction under control. Allowed me to stay longer than closing time to feel comfortable before leaving. Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, up front and honest. Only reasons not 5 stars is the phone number is incorrect or was disconnected while trying to contact this clinic on the way there to make sure hours online were correct. Not being 24/7 as named. If you truly need some type of emergency care that doesn't require an emergency room an urgent care is where you end up. This was the only place we could find open on the particular evening we needed someplace to go. They were fairly easy to find and are on the second story of the building they are in. When we arrived we weren't even sure if they were open. We walked in and up to the counter and were taken care of pretty quickly. First we had to answer some questions and then they had us fill out some paperwork. We were informed that they don't accept any type of insurance which was convenient as my kid is currently without insurance. On the plus side we got some very quick and efficient care from a friendly staff that seemed pretty knowledgeable. On the minus side is the cost. Just walking in the door is expensive but by the time we were done with some basic testing for strep and COVID and then to receive a couple of injections to boost their immunity we had to spend $600. I found this to be excessively expensive. It's very inconvenient that they don't take any insurance but they apparently do a steady business. Your choices are someplace like this or take your chance at an emergency room where you may end up spending a lot more money for care. The difference is you can defer payments from a hospital emergency room but this place you're paying the entire thing before you leave. Thankfully we were able to cover it. They also sent prescriptions to our pharmacy and I found two of those to be completely unnecessary. There was still a healthy charge for the two that we did get. In the end it helped and my kid got better fairly quickly but I'm not sure I can justify the cost. read more

I made an appointment and I walk in with my parents the people at the front didn't even great me until I was like hi? And they just looked at me weirdly they weren't giving me any options on what to do whit the pain until I pointed an option out. I literally walk out the building because their attitude was terrible if it weren't for my parents I would've left, after I came back in they were cursing I for it of us and talking about how after "this girl leaves ima leave bc I don't want to be here" in front of me while I was trying to ask help. I get it that it's Friday late at night and u don't want to be at work but I'm in pain that I'm crying and u giving me this attitude is not making it better. After that they put me in a room and all I hear is the 2 ladies at the front working on Tuesday 19 at 11:30 talking shit about me and my parents. We were in Orlando on vacation and I soon discovered I had a horrible UTI. I couldn't get an appointment anywhere, but found this place. Unbeknownst to me, it is cash only - no insurance is accepted. The lobby was empty which should have been a bad sign. However, I was suffering and needed antibiotics ASAP. The receptionist said it would be $128 for the appt., but maybe more if there is a Rx. I assumed she meant because they would provide me with the medication. I was taken back quickly. The medical assistant was very kind. Then, a provider came in the room. He didn't introduce himself, but spent maybe 2-3 minutes with me. He said he would send a Rx to CVS nearby. I went to check out and it was $305! I was SO shocked. When I questioned the cost, the receptionist was VERY rude and told me that she TOLD me it could be more. There is a cost associated with electronically sending a Rx....and dipping the test strip for the UTI. The cost was absolutely ridiculous. Lesson learned. If you are visiting from out of the area, stay away from this place. My son had a high fever (ear infection) and we took him there around 2am. The person at the front counter (male, caucasion, light brown hair, beard) was a little cold and standoffish, but that was fine... until he started being incredibly rude... even mean. He explained that they did not take insurance. I asked for costs. The medical exam would be $150ish (can't remember exact cost). We were fine with that. But he also insisted that they charge us for an ear culture, if my son had an ear infection (which we knew he had). When I asked why we needed to pay another $60ish fee for a culture that we have never done with any of our 4 children, he started quizzing me. He started on a series of questions where he tried to stump me and make me feel studid. "What is a culture?" "How do they work?" etc. Now - I knew the answers to his questions. So, he got more rude -- and asked more specific questions. I answered them and finally said enough of the questions. I asked him why he was so mean. And he literally said "Thank you." I was in tears when we left. All I wanted was help for my baby - who was hurting. And I was quizzed in an attempt to make me look stupid. What about a parent who did not know the answers to his questions? Would he have been crueler in that case? We went back to our hotel, called our doctor back home, and made other arrangements for care. You are greeted by a paramedic whom will force a CoVid test regardless of it's necessity. I got a sore throat while on vacation, and was worried it would turn into a fever and take a turn for the worst. My husband and I started driving and I got an appointment for 5 minutes later online. We walked up and were immediately greeted by the person behind the counter who explained the process and payments. I sat down with the paperwork and the doctor/ nurse/ technician (I'm not sure what to call him!) came up to us and asked us about why we were here, etc. He explained that I could just get a rapid test for strep throat and then decide if I wanted an in person consultation. I decided to do that, and was shown into a room. I was given the rapid test, it came back negative 7 minutes later, he took time to discuss what it could be if it wasn't strep, and that he wasn't worried by what he saw in my throat and through my voice and my tonsils, etc. Even though we weren't charged for an in person visit, I really felt like I was listened to, checked on, and was given superior experience very unexpectedly. read more

I wish I could leave 0 stars. Absolutely terrible place. My daughter had terrible ear pain which we knew was an ear infection. The nurse practitioner agreed that she had a double ear infection BUT WOULD NOT send in antibiotics unless we paid for a $100 Covid test and $89 flu test!! Which both were negative of course. He already knew she had an ear infection but clearly took advantage of us and refused to help any further unless we paid for the unnecessary tests. Later spoke with my daughters pediatrician because after almost a week her ears weren't better. Come to find out they prescribed a secondary medication instead of using the normal amoxicillin for an ear infection. Avoid this place at all costs. I called this place 2 weeks ago asked cost of school physical and was told $45 they never mentioned no insurance accepted which is an important policy that should be mentioned. He also told me when I called no appointment needed. I called again yesterday before I arrived was told same thing. So anyway we get there and first thing I'm asked is if I have an appointment I was then instructed to go on their website and select an appointment slot so I did that then first thing I'm told no insurance and then he says it's $94 total that includes urine culture and one other test. So after that I said to myself I should have read some reviews so as I'm reading the reviews everyone was saying don't go there and they nickel and dime for everything and don't mention no insurance until you get there. Here is the fun part, we go to the back he starts checking vital signs on the kids steps out comes back and says the provider said we needed to do an EKG that's an additional $99 I said no school physical needs EKG this is not a sports physical they go to the extent to say the government mandated it for all physicals which was complete BS! Came here as an emergency for fillings. The dental assistant was rude as can be. Their website doesn't have any information about the company or owners. When in pain you don't realise and you want treatment urgently but I was left in more pain than when I went in. They are uncontactable except by an ominous call centre. Don't go here. For charging what they do their services are extremely inadequate and I'm suspicious they're not even regulated by the florida dental board. I wish that I had seen this prior to taking my daughter. She has a sinus infection, as a young adult she tends to know her body. They tested her for COVID and the Flu and said their protocol was to then test for Strep. My daughter declined and she said it's probably a sinus infection and she couldn't give her any medication. I have never heard of someone with a severe sinus infection not be giving an antibiotic.
