    I arrived with an empty lobby. For X rays you can't even schedule an appointment like a normal office. Instead it's walk in only. In spite of the fact that it was before 11am and I'm the only one here; I am still waiting and, still greeted by "receptionist" who can't manage one friendly word like Good Morning or Thank you. 2 other patients came in and they get the same lack of manners and friendly demeanor so guess that's the standard for her. Sitting at a desk in an air conditioned office typing must be pretty tough!

    Barbara did my mammogram at the Ahwatukee location. I explained at the start that I had a neck surgery and it was difficult to turn my neck and also to raise my arm. She seemed in a big hurry and a little frustrated because I couldn't get immediately in the right position she wanted me in. She clamped the machine down on my breast and I told her that it was hurting really bad. She continued trying to keep my head in the right position and pushing my neck and not paying much attention to me. She didn't release the clamping until I started crying because the pain was so bad. I felt like I was an object rather than a person and that she was just trying to get her job done quickly and get me out of there. I have had mammograms annually for many many years and I have never had an experience like this. She was rough and she was hurrying in a way that was not needed. When she saw the mark she left on me she said oh your skin is just sensitive. You have a mark on your arm like that. Well, I do get some small red marks on my arm but Not from the results of any pain like that, and I've never had them on any other part of my body. I was having pain under my breast as well, but did not notice until later that I had a deep red mark there. When she was done, she never even apologized for what she did to me. I seriously would never let her do another mammogram and I don't think she should be doing them for anybody.

I have had a lot of MRI's with and without contrast and I'm a medical student to boot. I was wearing 100% cotton,no metal, no microfiber, and they demanded I change​​ into their gown. Ridiculous amd unnecessary. They even contradict each other with one telling me to leave my underwear on and the other saying I had take my 100% cotton no metal sports bra off. The worst was the stick. I told the person what guage needle works best. They said they 'can't' because of the auto injector They're using standard leur lock, and any auto injector can be adjusted to suit the needle gage. It takes minutes to do. Then the needle stick was so bad, they almost injected an Airbubble into me. I saw this, the tech looked at me, ripped the needle out and started to go after the other arm with the same needle. At which point I said I refuse the contrast and they told me I either do the contrast or go home. I left with blood streaming out of my arm because the tech didn't bother to put a bandaid on. They just called me and tried to say that what I went through was normal. So.I asked the person, Amanda, if she would trust the techs or go through that again. She had the audacity to say yes and that the techs are 'trained'. I called her on her bullshit and hung up. ​​

    If I could give them 0 stars I would…read more I showed up on a Tuesday morning when they opened at 8:30 AM. There was no one there, but I still had to wait 30 minutes for them to call me back. My doctor had sent an electronic order over the afternoon prior. At first, I was told that the x-ray technician wasn't there that day but then she figured out that they were. They did not use my current order that my doctor had sent over. They used an order that was in the system from two years ago from a different doctor. I tried to get them to change it over the telephone, but they have outsourced their customer service department to India so it's impossible to get anything done. Just getting them to send it to my current doctor was a chore. I had to call my current doctors office to get them to call SimonMed and give them the order again verbally over the telephone. I then emailed Shannon, the girl who works at the front desk at SimonMed THREE times and she never once returned my email. She has no clue what she's doing. I watched as other customers came in for their appointment and were told that that technician wasn't in that day, but no one let the customer know. I would highly recommend that you go to a different imaging place. This place just does not have what it takes to run an efficient, competent and customer service, friendly office.

    This review is a running commentary of my initial visit today (6/13/2016). I arrived 20 minutes…read moreearly for my 3pm appointment with Dr Rogers, so I could fill out the required new patient paperwork. It is presently 3:45pm and I am still grumpily ensconced in the small waiting area for my appointment. So far, the only positive thing is the receptionist; she is very friendly and positive with everyone I have seen pass through the office (about 5 people so far). At 3:49pm, my name is called and I walk with the medical assistant into an exam room. Ruth, the med assistant, takes my vitals and leaves, telling me the doctor will be with me shortly. A couple minutes later, Dr Rogers walks in. Honestly, I'm a little unimpressed because he does not look like he's in great shape....and yet he's supposed to be telling his patients how to be healthy. He's a nice enough guy and was receptive to my questions, but didn't offer any enlightening responses. My reasons for visiting included getting a pulmonary breath test to check for (exercise induced) asthma and to see if I may have food allergies that may be contributing to bloating. Dr Rogers sent me to another room for the breath test -- the assistant in this room was not very pleasant and I had to wonder if she enjoyed her job at all -- then Ruth the 1st med assistant drew some blood (icky). I left the office at 4:30pm. I spent way more time waiting and doing paperwork than speaking with any one person. I like the location of the clinic because it is close to home, but one staff person could be a bit more "professionally pleasant" and appointments could be spaced out more so that patients aren't waiting for almost an hour. In the business world, being almost an hour late for a meeting is unacceptable. Why do we tolerate lateness when at the doctor's office?

The waiting room is pristine and spacious with comfortable seating. The entire process is personable and professional. The changing rooms provide the appropriate privacy and are equipped with deodorant and wipes. As expected lockers are available to store your personal belongings. The lockers themselves are generous in size but what makes them unique are the celebrity names you can choose from. This is a nice whimsical touch and you will definitely not forget which locker is yours! Online booking is available but I appreciate the option to book my next years appointment upon check out and results are generally received within a few short days. I live in Mesa so the facility is not necessarily convenient to where I live but it's definitely worth the trip over.
