I went to Kaiser, USC, UCLA, and several other oral specialists. Each one told me that there was "nothing wrong, it was nerve pain". I ended up going on medication that I didn't want to take, thinking it would be the rest of my life. Then I saw Dr. Brucker for another matter. While there, I told him of my troubles. Dr. Bruckner took me seriously. He investigated. He found that the bone where the tooth had been extracted was sharp and causing the pain. He performed a simple surgery, smoothing the bone. That was a month ago and it has healed correctly and today the pain is gone. This doctor is brilliant and caring. His staff is superb. I had a wonderful experience with Pacific Oral Surgery -- two, actually…read more 1) After crunching down too hard on a popcorn kernel, I complained to my dentist about lingering pain and was eventually referred to Dr. Bruckner. He did a deep-scan of the affected molars and determined that I had damaged something deep. He then sent the results back to my dentist, who arranged for me to have a root-canal. [On a separate note, that root-canal ended up being astoundingly painless.] 2) Years later I had a hole in the roof of my mouth that wouldn't stop bleeding. My dentist handles the teeth and gums, but not the palate, so she referred me again to Dr. Bruckner. Dr. Bruckner worked with me over several weeks and eventually did some kind of cut-and-cauterize-and-sew procedure that I don't actually understand. He certainly knows what he's doing, though, and he took care of me quite professionally and courteously from start to finish. Two things to note: A) The receptionist checking people in for their appointments was courteous, efficient, and accurate -- plus is absolutely gorgeous, as well. More importantly, she was especially careful to remind me (via text and phone call) before my appointments that... B) The office has moved from Erringer (near Patricia). While periodontic work is never painless, they do what they can to make it as comfortable, quick and stress-free as possible. The office staff are always honest and helpful. While I have had them forget things occasionally, like sending in a prescription, they're quick to own up to their mistake and correct it. I do have two minor complaints about this office though, which aren't deal killers. One is that they do not process all of your benefits for you. I have AFLAC Dental for supplemental coverage, and their office will not file those claims. They instead insist that I submit these myself. What makes this awkward is that AFLAC will often pay THEM instead of me, so I have to drive back in to get reimbursed. This has happened twice now, and it's inconvenient and a little annoying. Two is just a personal thing. Their office decor is weird, discomforting and a little bizarre. Huge cast figures in gold of human bodies on the wall. Black velour furniture. And dozens of blank white shelves filled with what looks like small round plastic fake plants. It's like being surrounded by an army of chia pets. It's not a warm, relaxing atmosphere, but it's a minor thing that doesn't reflect on their work at all. I'm sure there's a professional decorator in Simi who could fix this in a day or two. With dentists in the past I've always questioned whether they had my best interest at heart. But with Dr. Lindbergh I get a sense of security when it comes to treating my teeth. He gave me great options regarding a toothache in the back of the mouth. We consulted several times and reviewed our X-rays and scans multiple times before I committed to an implant. This was my first implant so I was a bit concerned. It couldn't have gone any smoother. All I can say is that I constantly forget that I have an implant in the back of the mouth. I've had oral surgery before and been to many dentists before and I can say he's top notch, excellent dexterity, good technique, I felt very little, apart from clean office, modern up to date equipment, he used a Yomi robotic system, he's also extremely friendly and personable. He explained everything in detail, even as he was performing the surgical procedure. He was able to clear out my abscess and extract the broken tooth and place the implant all in the same visit. The whole procedure was fast too, but not hurried. Extremely good experience and I highly recommend this dentist. It's now 7-8 hours later and I'm only a tad sore. I did not accept any pain meds, but they offered to prescribe some. His staff also was well trained and friendly. They called me later to see how I was feeling. Overall great experience, generally I hate going to the dentist. But this experience was GREAT! I highly recommend this dentist and his office. Prices very reasonable and give a cash discount. Since I don't have insurance that's very helpful.
