Went here on Saturday, the place is always so busy but the service is great at making it accommodating. The Brussel sprouts are a must try, I had the hot honey buffalo per suggestion and it was so good. I really wish they had breakfast all day because the egg sandwich here is the best in the city. Wow.. just wow. Stopped here after a ski day on the way home and it perfectly hit the spot. Fries were perfectly cooked to a light fluffy crisp. Also came in Cajun which I will try next time. I got the November special Korean fried chicken sammy and it did not disappoint. Perfectly crispy cook, juicy on the inside and the flavors were amazing. Fairly priced at around $16 a sandwich and I believe it was around $6 or $7 for the fries. They have free water cups which is nice and a plethora of fun unique hot sauce to try. They have a delicious looking hot honey chicken sandwich which I will be trying next time. Likely sooner than later!! Anyone who gives this place less than a 5 needs to be questioned because this place is fantastic. I had the the Orange Chicken Sandwich, which was an August special, and I'm not kidding when I say it's one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The two fried chicken strips were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside and they were coated in a perfect orange sauce. The orange aioli and sliced oranges in the sandwich were fantastic. I had to go twice to get it. My only gripe is that that sandwich isn't there any more but it does make me excited to try all the future monthly sandwiches. I can tell you this: I don't hate collard greens after trying their "I hate collard greens" sandwich, that's for sure! This place has been on my list for a while now and I'm glad I finally got to check it out. On Saturdays & Sundays they have a $3 mimosa deal, which obviously drew me in. They have a bunch of different flavors, I know they have OJ and watermelon, and a couple others. They also have a raspberry mint mimosa for $4. The raspberry mint mimosa comes with an ice cube with raspberries and mint in it. I liked it, but it took a long time for the ice cube to melt, so I didn't really get the flavors of the raspberry mint until my champagne was almost gone. You order up at the counter and are given a number and they bring you your food and drinks. I got the "I hate collard greens" sandwich and it was really yummy, and had a kick to it. It was served on rye bread and had swiss cheese, collard greens, slaw, and a spicy dressing. I'm a wimp when it comes to spice, so it was a little bit on the spicy side for me personally, and next time I could I would see if I could not add that spicy remoulade. They also have a vegan option of this sandwich and another vegetarian sandwich on the menu. Their menu is very meat focused, which many sandwich shops are! I had been wanting to try this place for a while but their hours are a little different, more like deli hours as they close at 4 pm. However, I am very glad I got to give them a try this weekend. The chopped cheese fries were phenomenal, The fries were crispy and soft on the inside, and loaded with toppings. This place does not skimp on the meat or the cheese, and everything tasted fresh. I went to Silverside Deli for the first time about a week ago for lunch. There are a few street parking spots out front if not taken, otherwise you'll have to park in some lot nearby. It's a nice shop with a good amount of seating and the staff taking my order seemed friendly to me. It wasn't super busy or loud. There are many hot sauces to try by the drink machine. I went with the chicken parm sandwich and honey balsamic brussel sprouts. The food came out pretty fast. The brussel sprouts had great flavor, and there were a lot, but they were a little too greasy for me. Also, many of the leaves had separated instead of having almost whole sprouts to bite into. That would be my preference. The sandwich was a good size and meaty. I had half at lunch and saved the rest for the next day. I'm used to chicken parm being very tomato saucy and cheesy, but this one had some spice, which I love, but it was a little more sour/acidic than I'm used to. Maybe it was the peppers they used. Overall, I liked my food and would come back again. I also like how they have a couple monthly specials, so you can always try something new (ex. Indian curry chicken or orange chicken sandwiches). Next time I'm going with fries as a side instead. read more

I think this is Salt Lake's best spot for deli sandwiches (yes, I have been and like Feldman's). The fresh and hot varieties are superior. I had the collard greens sandwich after following in love with it at Turkey and the Wolf in NOLA. So happy I have that same sandwich here. The French dip was also awesome. Loved it here! The staff were lovely and the food was great. They even split our order so we could share a sandwich without charge. My friend and I split a Chicken Caesar sandwich. We weren't hungry enough for fries though. :-( The $3 mimosas were a nice treat for a Sunday lunchtime. When we were asked which flavor of mimosa we would like (and there are a few) I was kind of confused... I mean, I thought mimosas were made with orange juice, but instead of juice, the fruit part of the drink is actual frozen fruit. My orange was a frozen little petal shape and my friend's strawberries were in a little square. Just a really good and unique sandwich shop. A lot of places have come and gone over the years in Sugarhouse. I think and hope that Silverside will stay. I had the spicy chicken sandwich in "hot" and it was really good. It was spicy but it should be. Warning - don't touch your eyes after you eat it. I did and struggled to drive home. The Birds Eye chili is no joke! The chopped cheese fries are good as well but next time I'll probably just get regular fries. Our group also tried the hot ham and swiss melt, honey buffalo chicken, and turkey sub and we were all happy. The staff were great and we were checked on multiple times while we ate. I would have given 5 stars but they need 1-2 more sandwiches part of their permanent menu. Hopefully they add a pastrami, reuben, or italian sub to the permanent menu in the future. read more

A chicken or chopped cheese sandwich puts us at $14 each with no sides included. The sides ranged from $5.50 for Mac salad to $12 for loaded fries. A side of fries over $10 felt excessive. Eggplant Parm - 1 Star - The sandwich was very spicy. The one who ordered it could not finish it. It was a big disappointment as eggplant parm is a big time favorite. Spicy Chicken - 3 Stars - The sandwich was very saucy. The chicken tasted like it was frozen and the placed in a fryer. I didn't know what to expect but the staff was kind and gave me recommendations as I decided what to get. I went with Chopped Cheese which is similar to a Philly cheesesteak. Let me tell you though, this sandwich was sooo good. Unique and fresh. I also ordered the Hawaiian Chicken which was delicious as well. I make this review out of good faith. My family loves this place, the fries and chopped cheese are delicious. However, it seems every time we visit, there are no tables available, seeing as there are only 10 tables in the restaurant. It's either a party of 2 taking a table for 4, or a party staying long after they are done eating. Last time we tried this restaurant, we saw a party with playing cards and no food in front of them. The staff also doesn't seem interested in shifting customers out. I'm very disappointed in what this restaurant has become, and I hope this review can help open their eyes. read more

This would be the place if the Hulu show "The Bear" (season 1) was based in SLC. Michelin star chef opens sandwich shop.. and these sandwiches are M-star worthy . They run a special sandwich if the month - which #IYKYK. Every month I have a reminder in my phone to check out what the special is just so I don't miss it. Got the Italian Beef and it was pretty underwhelming. Flavors were basically non existent while the au jus left more to be desired. The Cajun fries were great that came with the meal thought. All in all the price for what I got was absolutely over priced for flavor/quality. Price point and the product that day was no where close. I paid about 25 for the sandwich, fries and a fountain drink. The manager or owner did come by asking everyone how their meal was and I gave him a meh, I've had better face. Credit to him he did offer to get another sandwich made for me but I had already forced myself to eat half my sandwich already so I said it was okay. Hopefully it was just a bad day.
