One company came out and gave a bid to replace the skylight but was hesitant to attempt to stop the immediate leak before the skylight replacement project was signed for. When I called Rost Construction, Jakob answered the call and started asking me fact finding questions about the roof and the skylight. He agreed to send out one of his staff the next day. Jack from Rost Construction went up to the skylight and found an old nail embedded in the skylight flashing. He was able to repair that area and stop the leaking. I feel that Rost Construction operates with high levels of expertise and integrity.

Needing some remodeling work and never had to use a contractor in the Ithaca area, I started asking for a good contractor. I received Chris Eder as reference to use. From our first phone call, he was very professional. Chris was very punctual for our first meeting and after looking at the job that I wanted him to do, he gave me a written email estimate later that evening. Every day for work he was on time, and every day when he was done working, he always cleaned up debris or mess that he had made as if he had not even been there. I am very pleased. I have had Chris do several different jobs for me on my house and rental and he has never failed me. He has remodeled three bathrooms, trim work around floor and windows, carpet/vinyl flooring installation, subflooring, installed electric baseboard heating, ceiling lights, minor electrical work and building storage shelves in my garage for me. Chris is always accommodating around my work schedule when he does a job for me. He has never started a job and then left me hanging days before returning.
