The poor people parked in the Handicap spot had a little boy in a wheel chair who looked to be around four or five, who appeared to have Cerebral Palsy. It was raining and they couldn't get the poor little guy in the van because this guy parked so close in the yellow lines. The people had to go in and ask for someone to come move it. The guy comes out with an attitude saying "looks like a perfectly good spot to me. Looks like a spot." The dad of the kid was rightfully getting really annoyed and this guy was being a complete jerk, even though he was obviously wrong and caused this little guy to be in the rain while they tried to get him to move. The mom looked like she was about to cry. I heard the guy say "What are you going to do call my boss? Go for it. Call my boss" and then laughed. I looked on the website and he appears to be the owner, which is why he didn't care. I didn't call because I figured it would fall on def ears. Before you support JKS Home Improvement, I suggest you think about the kind of person you are dealing with!!! If he can be so rude to parents of a wheelchair bound CHILD after he was the one who parked in a spot he shouldn't have, imagine how he's going to treat a customer!!! FIVE STARS…read more I hired Peter to do some extensive work on my Cabin in the Western Catskills (Near Walton NY) and from the our initial conversations it was crystal that this man was really smart, a problem solver, creative and really knowledgeable about all things contracting. He attentively listened to my vision for creating a cabin that fused simple minimalism with modern appeals and amenities. He asked many questions and then set out to execute that vision with elevation by elevation brainstorm sessions. Once I knew that we were on the same page with respect to the vision for the cabin then Peter brought in his crew to make it happen. They went through this place like a contracting tsunami, working diligently everyday to get the job done. The project began with prepping for the buildings power wash which meant removing many items from the building that the previous owner had installed like satellite dishes, decorative animals and planters. After that was done Peter did a beautiful job of power washing the exterior during a serious rainstorm. He was like a machine!!! I have never seen anything like it before. It was 58 degrees outside (chilly) and torrentially raining while he did the job which took all day but he did not stop until he was satisfied with the quality of his work. After it all, it is clear that he holds himself and the quality of his work to the highest standards possible. He also shared his ideas for various aspects and stages of the project development that made the original vision even better than originally planned. For example, we were looking to add a splash of color around that house and had settled on a red front door but with Peter's input we changed course and painted parts of the porch red instead. That pivot mades the front of the house look fantastic and modern like Louboutin Shoes!!! Peter is a mastermind and I could go on and on about how great of a job that he did on our cabin but I'll let the photos do all the talking. I would like to also say that Finish Line Contractors were extremely responsive to my calls, scheduling, and were incredibly reliable. They were also so trustworthy that we gave him access to the house even when we weren't onsite so that he could get the work done on time. In the end, I feel very fortunate to have Finish Line Contractors do my renovation. They made the final result better than the original vision. I plan to use them for another build in the spring because the initial experience was so great. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a talented, honest, hardworking visionary contractor that gets the job done right.
