Amy helped us find our venue and the various vendors we needed to hire. She supported us in meetings with the venue and other vendors and interfaced with all of the vendors prior to and during the wedding to ensure we were all coordinated. There were many aspects of the wedding that we did not consider during the planning process and Amy brought them to our attention and helped us determine how we wanted to handle them. Amy's timeline for the wedding day was invaluable and helped us keep everyone on schedule. She and her team handled all of the vendors, oversaw the venue setup, cut the cake for us, and handled the take down at the venue after the reception. She helped us get the entire wedding party to the church on time and directed the photographers to where they could find the various parties to take photos. Amy ran the rehearsal so that everyone knew what they were supposed to do and when, and on the wedding day, she did the same thing. As the MOB I did not have to worry about anything. Amy and her assistant handled everything professionally. It allowed me to enjoy the day without worry. If you are looking for a Wedding Coordinator, you should hire All Things Planned. You will be very pleased with their support and services.

However, we were gifted a Groupon so that's how we knew about OUAC. When we went it was a cloudy and rainy day so it wasn't crowded at all, which was nice. The place was unique because it had many different stations and activities for your kids to play. It's like a huge Montessori playground. My boys loved the train ride and riding on the dinosaurs the most. I like that the place includes both indoor and outdoor stations. The place seems rather small compared to an amusement park like Six Flags, but it's just enough. Kids can easily spend 30 minutes - 1 hour in just one location so I really like how they can enjoy their time and casually play without parents feeling overwhelmed to get everything done to maximize the amount of money spent. We didn't host a birthday party here, but there were other parties booked. I don't know how much it costs, but let me say that the decorations were beautiful! I'm not sure if it was included or if the parents decorated themselves, but if you wanted to go all out for your child, you certainly can. The staff were also ALL super sweet and friendly! The place plans for everything, like rain. They had numerous umbrellas for patrons to use within the grounds. When it started to rain, all the staff were asking if we needed umbrellas, and one even was willing to run in the rain to get us one! Seriously, I've never seen such hospitality in an establishment from everyone! I also would recommend going here on a weekend because according to their website, more stations and activities are open during that time. Even if it's more crowded, I think it is worth it. If you want to do something different for your child, then I would recommend this place!

As for us grandmas, our favorite part was watching the kids have such a great time and being able to let them free to be kids. We met with a couple of wedding planners and picked Karla because of how much we felt like we could trust her. She is the perfect balance of being fun and relaxed, but is also a go-getter. She did a great job of understanding what we envisioned and always tried to make sure that our big day met that vision. When we didn't have opinions or preferences, she was always able to provide guidance or take tasks off of our plates. When it comes to the wedding world of Austin, she knows EVERYONE and has great rapport with all of them. She has contacts at countless venues, catering companies, rental companies, bakeries, etc. and was able to help negotiate/communicate on our behalf. This was especially helpful when it came to communication with countless vendors because she was able to take care of so many details with the vendors so that I didn't have to. She made us feel like her #1 priority throughout the entire wedding-planning process and I have no doubt that she makes all her couples feel the same way. However, this made us feel like we weren't just a job or a date on her calendar. She made us feel like she actually cared and I truly believe she does! The day of the wedding, Karala ensured that everything ran so smoothly - everything felt absolutely PERFECT! We never could have pulled off such a successful wedding without her! Thank you!

Our kids hired this planner, and from the very beginning there were warning signs-but the scope of the issues that unfolded went far beyond anything we could have anticipated. From not remembering meeting the groom after a one-hour introductory call, to ongoing disorganization, to inconsistent and frequently changing pricing, the experience was stressful throughout. We were quoted inflated costs for items such as generators-significantly higher than what we were able to negotiate ourselves-and were directed to vendors whose pricing was nearly ten times higher than identical products available on Etsy. Despite being repeatedly reassured that all details were handled, several critical failures occurred on the wedding day. The string quartet never arrived because 36th Street Events sent their information to an outdated email address. Instead of notifying the bride, groom, or any parents about the mistake, recorded music was played without explanation. Requested site visits never happened, staffing was not confirmed, and as a result dinner was delayed by 60-90 minutes, guests had no water available, and the wrong song was played for the father-daughter dance. These operational missteps were extremely disappointing. However, the most troubling aspect was the unprofessional and at times blatantly rude behavior displayed by Ren toward parents, guests, and even the priest officiating the ceremony. Multiple guests approached us asking why the wedding coordinator was so dismissive and why, as family members scrambled to help guests during a sudden rain, she stood by and watched. Prior to the bride and groom entering the reception, Ren told the groom he should button his jacket so he "didn't look fat." All of the above are just a few examples of the disappointment. For an event as meaningful as a wedding, professionalism, organization, and care matter enormously--and sadly, these were consistently lacking. After our bad experience, I did see another similar review for Ren on this platform.
