The little restaurant is set up to primarily be a take-away shop, but there is some seating inside if you prefer to enjoy your Thai food where it was made. Every time we call to place an order for pick up, they quote us about a 15 minute wait, and every time we arrive to claim our dinner, it is hot, fresh and ready to go. My fellow diners tell me that the Thai Green Curry and Thai Red Curry are fantastic, as is the pud thai. I personally adore the Basil and Chilli Tofu Noodles. We always order a side of the special vegetarian fried rice and ask for no egg. The staff are accommodating and remove the egg as requested with no hassle. My Basil and Chilli Tofu Noodles ring in at $11.50 and, along with serves of fried rice, will typically last me for three meals: the original dinner, plus two workday lunches. For value and fresh Thai food, I recommend that you let In Thais en-tice your tastebuds (sorry, had to do it!).

So the advise is don't complain even if you get the wrong order because they basically have no customer service and they are always right - never again going there.

The main difference is that the King William branch has better service and presentation to cater to the lunch crowd. Most notably, the small army of dumpling makers work in plain view, not behind a creepy sheet of one-way glass as in the original. With such cheap food, it's settling to see it made. Big time credibility boost. Also, there's staff directing traffic during lunch, greatly improving efficiency as the (Dumpling) King of King William lunch spots packs out. What I particularity like about Dumpling King (this goes for both locations) is how they're not afraid to undo their belt and let their giant doughy gut hang out, so to speak. For instance, one main is called: "Dumplings in Chili Oil." Most restaurants would try and hide the fact their dumplings are floating in oil. Not Dumpling King.

Dumpling King is no fine dining, nor is it even really much of a cafe. It is a cheap eat with generous portions, incredibly student friendly. Chinese tea is free, unlimited. Their fried pork dumplings are juicy and tasty. I love having them with vinegar and their house chilli which is available on every table. The other dish I almost always order is Dan Dan Noodles which is a very spicy Sichuan pork mince mix served over noodles. It's spicy and lipsmackingly delicious. Our other two favourites are the beef noodle soup and Pork Chop with Egg Noodles. The pork chop and beef are always tender and both soup bases are full of flavour. Pork Chop and Egg is probably my favourite out of the two because I get a braised egg (I'm a sucker for braised eggs).
