The 3 times my husband has been in this business the manager is erratic, pacing, waving his arms and nervously laughing. The first time we were there he looked at my husband and told him that his sidearm was triggering his PTSD and he needed to close up and go to an appointment. Another time we called to verify they were open arriving 30 minutes later the shop was then closed during posted business hours. Another time to pick up our weed trimmer which the manager said while again oddly laughing that they serviced it but didn't replace the worn feeder assembly which is why it was brought in - not a service. We were charged $150 for a service we didnt authorize and still have to repair the unit. As one with diagnosed PTSD-C, I wouldn't normally publicize someone else's disability however the manager publicly told us within the buisness walls that he suffers from PTSD and other conditions, his nonsensical rambling, body movements, uncontrollable laughing makes for a very unsafe customer environment and I feel its important that someone speaks out before something bad happens. The woman helping in the shoe department was extremely helpful and friendly, and guided me to the appropriate pair of sandals. It's been a year so she made a positive lasting impression. This year I picked up a hat with good coverage for my son's. Along with some souvenirs, my son wanted to bring home for his friends (Truckee stickers). Besides my positive experience, the store seems to have just about everything from grills, too fishing gear amongst other things that you would carry an Ace Hardware store. Another "Healthy" plant bites the dust…read more This is a follow up to a previous post of my experience at Rail City, which has a horrible return/exchange policy and does not give veterans discounts. I've purchased several $ thousand of plants at the nursery over the past 8 years. I bought 3 potentilla scrubs in April at Rail City. These are sun loving plants that were kept in the shade at the nursery. They were planted in mild weather and consistent with planting instructions provided by the nursery. All dropped their leaves within the first week. One never recovered and a second one died this week, which on examination had no root development despite beginning kept in moist, well drained soil and in full sun for nearly 4 months. I wonder how long these two deceased plants were kept in a 5 gallon container, crammed together in the shade? Some of branches were the diameter of my little finger. I went to another nursery today and bought a second replacement. I didn't even bother calling Rail City, whose owner was so unhelpful with the first dead plant. The replacement is a beautiful plant that has kept in full sun with plenty of room to thrive. It cost about 2/3 of what I paid at Rail City.

No fire at the coil with a brand new coil from a reno based dealer ( who would not even listen to my del;imma, just pay and come back in two weeks.) Georges crew member took the saw back and had it running in 10 minutes. as well worth the 2 hour round trip to get great service from some good old country boys!
