Unfortunately, our recent experiences have been frustrating enough to make us reconsider. On 11/02, we made a purchase and noticed afterward that we were overcharged. After reviewing the receipt, we had to go back and were refunded nearly $26 from a $72 total. Mistakes happen, but we appreciated the refund being processed correctly. However, things got worse when we saw a charge from the store on our credit card dated 11/28--even though neither of us had visited the store that day. We tried repeatedly to get in touch with someone who could explain the charge, but every time we called, the employee who answered said the person who could help wasn't in and to call back the next day. This went on for several days with no progress. Eventually, my husband went into the store, hoping for some answers. Unfortunately, he was again told that no one was available to help. There was no effort to take down our information, no concern shown, no follow-up, and no offer to pass along the issue to a manager. After getting nowhere with the store, we ended up disputing the charge with our bank. We're disappointed by how this was handled. If you shop here, definitely double-check your receipts and monitor your credit card for any unexplained charges. The convenience of a local store only goes so far when the customer service doesn't measure up.

They took it apart, and left it that way, and told us it was unrepairable due to bad gas. The manager, Larry Duerr, was horrible to deal with. I then took it to Sierra Repair & Sharpening. They repaired it in no time and the warranty covered it. It runs perfectly now. Do not trust Nevada Power Products. I will not purchase anything from them again.

Sometimes a quick hardware run turns into an unexpected test of patience. On December 5, 2025 at…read morearound 5:15 PM, a friendly cashier called the manager over because two clearance items were incorrectly priced. One item wasn't marked at all, and the other showed a $10 sticker with an additional 50% off. When I scanned the barcode in the Ace Hardware app, the item rang up as $2.99, so I kindly requested a price match based on Ace's own listed pricing. The manager entered the interaction abruptly, avoided eye contact, and loudly exclaimed "What the F***"--a remark heard by several customers in nearby lines. This was both unprofessional and unnecessary. He then insisted the online price was inaccurate and attempted to charge an incorrect amount ($31.99!!), even after I showed the product information. I ultimately ordered the items for in-store pickup at the correct price, but the situation could have been resolved quickly and respectfully in the moment. I've included a photo with the serial number so this can be reviewed by leadership and handled more appropriately going forward. The rest of the staff was excellent; the issue was solely with the manager's conduct. I hope future visits to this location reflect the professionalism Ace is known for.

No fire at the coil with a brand new coil from a reno based dealer ( who would not even listen to my del;imma, just pay and come back in two weeks.) Georges crew member took the saw back and had it running in 10 minutes. as well worth the 2 hour round trip to get great service from some good old country boys!
