This is a tiny restaurant, just 2 tables and 6 chairs, but it's clear they have a steady take-out business! Everyone seemed happy to come in and pick up their food. We found out why when out order arrived...my Oxtails were tasty; my friend's Curry Goat was perfect; the fried chicken is some of the best I've ever had - the skin was smooth and crisp and the insides were juicy and moist - just the way fried chicken should be! They just moved to 1400 10th street in lake park and the food is still garbage and not worth spending money on. I think its under new management and is not the same original owners. The food here is delicious and authentic!!! Terry at the counter was very welcoming and friendly. Came here with my family to get a taste of all they had to offer. My uncle is Jamaican and so is my fiancee so I knew the standards were high, and Silver Spoon definitely got their approval!! There are a few tables inside as well as a couple tables outside if you choose to dine in. They offer takeout as well if that's more convenient. They have a selection of Jamaican colas and island drinks next to the ordering counter. We ordered the oxtail, brown stew chicken and curry chicken meals. The oxtail is so good as were the other dishes. All are served with a hearty portion of rice and peas (beans with rice/congri) covered with gravy from the meat, and a small cabbage salad. We ate as much as we could and took leftovers home that were enjoyed the next day. We will definitely be coming back here again and again!! read more

The food sitting in the steam table is old food from the day before and not freshly cooked. I'd rather go to FoodTown instead. Plus, the lady at the counter wasn't inviting at all. As we played the contemplating on dinner game, the "no way".. "nah.." I remembered a friend of mine mentioning this little gem. Searched the menu online, very basic and small, called up and placed order. Paid $27 for a HUGE oxtail dinner AND HUGE jerk pork dinner. I was like .. okay a little much. Well when the girl handed me over the bag and I grabbed it. It had to at least weigh a good 10lbs, this immediately excited me because I'm a foodie. We arrived home and when we opened our to-go containers we were jaw dropped. Over sized amazing heaven sent portions !!! Absolutely worth the money. Just give them a try and you'll appreciate it! Hands down this is the BEST place for oxtails and brown stewed chicken for miles around. The portions are more than reasonable and will definitely fill anybody's stomach with the best Jamaican food in the Palm Beaches. Change the butcher or find someone who know how to purchase meat. 2)RICE-overcooked and mushy. 3)CABBAGE-They even used parts of the hard stem that was uncooked and had no flavor just half boiled large pieces. 4)$$$$$$$-For the full price Diner plate I was given a Lunch size Oxtail for $14 with 4-5 pieces of fat meat that the lady measured so careful it is like she was selling diamonds. I requested to pay for additional meat and she gladly gave me TWO (2) more pieces for $2. So now I have a $16 plate. 5)Owners NAILS-1 inch long. I'm almost hesitant to write this because if I show up and there's no oxtails I'm going to be pissed. It's so good I'm almost sorry I tried man. I eat it about three times a week and it almost moves me to tears. The flavor the consistency of the product. You can go to mcdonalds and know you're going to get a sub par hamburger. Or you could come here and go on a tour de force of flavor. I've tried their brown chicken too and it was also amazing. But like a sirens call I go back to those oxtail.
