I ordered here from Uber eats! Food was delivered promptly and everything was packed well!! I ordered the fried goat with mushroom rice (djon djon) and fried plantains . Food is delicious. Super flavorful. The goat has a clean taste. Beautiful fried texture. And came with piklis We also had grilled chicken sandwich. Highly recommended!

This is a review for the food truck only, which was located at Lake Lytal Park in West Palm Beach for the Bitter Lax Festival in January. First, I am just glad this food truck was at the event as the location had no food vendors besides this truck. The truck sold a few items including Rib and Chicken Sandwiches, Chicken Wings, and beverages. I ordered a chicken sandwich and all I can say is that it was the strangest chicken sandwich I have ever had. You see, the "sandwich" wasn't really a sandwich at all. It was cut up chicken on the bone with a piece of white bread on the top. There was actually a healthy portion of chicken. Some of the chicken was tender and tasty but some of it was dry. The barbecue sauce was good. I just wasn't expecting messy chicken on the bone when I ordered a chicken sandwich! The guys working at the truck were very nice and they did a great job at getting the food out quickly. They had the a great little helper, a little girl who was a natural salesperson. Glad Pete's Crazy Grill was at the event. It would be nice if they sold some items that were easier to eat.

Thrilled that I finally made it to Pete's Crazy Grill. Delish ribs and sides. Cannot wait to go back for more. Thank you for warm hospitality. Joyce Moesle.

    Yuck.. orange mac n cheese???
    CV K.

The young lady at the window was very personable, good service...the reason for 3 stars otherwise 2 for effort. The sweet potato pie is not made on site, but at a "local bakery"..get somebodys grandma or church sister "so & so" to make the pies. It was horrible, we through it in the garbage after one bite. Look at the mac n' cheese, wtfudge???it was orange!! That went in the garbage too, without a bite.smh..

Part restaurant, part food truck the ribs here will melt your heart.

Didn't notice on DDD that you got in line to order, get, and pay but very efficient. Limited seating and half of it is communal seating at big tables. Usually fun though. Food is off a limited menu (and baby backs Saturday only) but every item was excellent. Burnt ends were so tender and very tasty. Brisket was awesome. Our dinner companion had the BBQ sandwich with enough BBQ "stew" for 3 buns and he loved it. Cole slaw different from any I've had before but delicious. Think your first corn muffin comes with your meal. Our best decision was getting extra to take home. Breakfast muffin with coffee was a big NEVS bonus (ask for 2 butters. Entree meats sold by weight. Didn't see any scales and pretty sure my 1/2 pound Brisket was overweight as were the burnt ends. Good place to share and they offer you a sharing tray. Free drink refills!! Fun atmosphere, good country music, 3 delicious sauces. No complaints. Enjoy.

The black pepper sausage and the cheesy sausages were both awesome. The smoked turkey was so good. The chili (all the meats) was fantastic. And, of course, the burnt ends were righteous. The cole slaw was very good. My friends loved the cornbread croutons. Definitely go try it out!!

NEVER AGAIN!!!! This…read moreplace is horrible. I gave it another chance, and somehow this experience was even worse than the last one. Once again, there were no rib tips available, and this time it was only 4:00 PM. That alone was frustrating, but what happened next was completely unacceptable. Today, with some hesitation, I took my uncle to Off the Bone for the first time. He wanted ribs, and he did not realize this place was right down the street from him. I told him I would take him there, but I warned him that this restaurant is very hit-or-miss because they often do not have the food you actually want. Unfortunately, today proved my point. Not only were there still no rib tips, but because of his health, my uncle did not want to travel farther just to find some. So we settled for ribs instead. Trying to stay positive, I ordered 2 rib dinners and 4 slices of cake. I specifically requested sweet barbecue sauce only, because neither my uncle nor I eat mustard. Of course, when the food came out, the ribs had a mix of sweet sauce and mustard sauce on them. I was told it was "some other sauce," but it was absolutely not what I asked for. I immediately asked the young man to take it back because I do not eat mustard and that was not my order. A few minutes later, he brought the food back. In the same container, they had simply poured more red sweet sauce over the food that already had mustard sauce on it. I was shocked. At that point, I immediately asked for my money back. He said, "Give me a minute," walked away, and then came back again, not with a refund, but with the same food in the same container. This time, it looked like they had tried to wipe the sauce off and put new sauce on the same ribs again. Who does that? By then, I told the young man I was getting very upset and that I only wanted my money back. Again, he walked away and came back, but still did not refund me. Instead, he brought out another rib dinner. This time it appeared to be a fresh plate, but with even less meat than before. My uncle looked at me and just shook his head. By then, he had already started eating his ribs with the mustard and sweet sauce mixed together just to keep the peace. Rather than continue arguing in front of him, I accepted the replacement plate and sat down to eat with him. The young man then asked me if I was okay, and I told him plainly: No, I am not okay. I explained to him that I am also a business owner, and this is not how customers should be treated. I also made it clear that I would be posting this review. I paid over $55, and this is how I was handled. To make matters worse, I had forgotten to tip the young man when I first ordered, so afterward I bought 2 bottles of water specifically so I could leave him a $10 tip. Looking back, after the way this situation was handled, keeping that tip felt like an insult. When we walked out, I said, "Never again." My uncle immediately said, "Never again too." Bringing me back the same food three times was completely unacceptable and raised serious concerns about food quality and proper handling. Refusing my refund twice was poor customer service. And after everything that happened, keeping my $10 tip felt like a complete slap in the face. Like I said before: DO NOT GO THERE!!!!

This was my first time trying a hot pot place around here (I had only been to one before in…read moreOrlando), so I was really excited to find one close to home, and it ended up being such a good experience. One thing I really liked is that you're not limited to just one option, you can do hot pot, BBQ, or both, which makes it way more fun if you want to try a bit of everything. The variety is honestly insane. They have all kinds of meats like beef, lamb, pork, and chicken with different cuts (including thinly sliced and pork belly), plus seafood like shrimp, clams, crab legs, and even octopus. They also have things like tofu, mushrooms (a lot of different kinds), corn, eggs, kimchi, edamame, and even frog legs. There are also plenty of sides and extras like noodles, fried rice, and a bunch of desserts. They had fruit like oranges and pineapple, plus little cakes that reminded me of Korean/Japanese desserts. I think they also had seaweed salad. The sauce station is really good too, you can make your own sauces with a bunch of options like peanut sauce, chili powder, garlic, soy sauce, scallions, and more. For drinks, they have pretty much everything. Sodas, alcohol (beer, wine, sake, soju), and also things like fruit teas and bubble tea (I saw flavors like Thai milk tea and others). You also get to choose your soup base for hot pot, which is really nice. They had options like miso, tomato, herbal, and spicy (Szechuan). The place itself is clean, including the bathrooms, and the atmosphere is really nice. The server I had was super attentive and friendly too.

However, if you told me that this food was crafted by a wizard who roamed the world for a thousand years... I would believe it. The first time you see your order, you'll go "huh, looks pretty simple" and you get slapped with the sleeper of flavor in your mouth. Have you ever been super drunk at a family bbq and the resident "grill master" is manning the grill? That burger in all your drunken glory tastes delicious. I'm sober and this burger just gave me the same chills. It looks like a simple burger, maybe even a stock photo of a burger for some grill ad. But the taste? Nothing stock. ORDER IT. The ribs are delicious. Super messy because it falls of the bone. The sauce is amazing. It has some heat to it, but compliments the meat perfectly. Every time I order, I've gotten a great mix of meat. I didn't get just a fatty blob, and it's never dry. I work in a male dominated industry and I travel a lot for work. I've eaten BBQ across this country. World famous and places that only take cash. This place is delicious and it tastes.. home-y? I know this is a restaurant, but these ribs tasted like someone you know and loved made them. That little extra something. Okay, let's discuss sides. Beans - not going to lie, they look like they came from a can. The taste? Not a can. Definitely on the sweeter side of the bean scale, but so delicious. Candied yams - consider it dessert and if you are blessed to get the edge/crusty corner, you will be happy. It's like eating the crumbled topping of a pie. Mac and cheese - Very yummy! Not dry at all. Again, tastes like the relative who is assigned the task of making Mac and cheese for family events made it. It's good. Corn bread - super crumbly and baked like a muffin. If anything on the menu is a little weak, this would be it. It's not bad tasting, it just falls apart. Crumble it up in your beans and just use a spoon. Red velvet cake - you know how a lot of restaurants just buy a cake from a restaurant grocery store and call it a day? This place does not. This is definitely made in house. It was delicious, but if you get this and the candied yams, you will sugar crash. Pick one or the other. Bottom line: come here if you ever wondered what a restaurant that tasted like an amazing cookout with friends and family would be like.
