I recently visited this theater to watch the new Taylor Swift movie and decided to treat myself to a hot dog. When ordering, I noticed the staff member took the bun into a side room for a long moment, which I found a little odd but didn't think much of at the time. The moment we stepped into the theater, we were hit with a strong, unpleasant odor that honestly set a bad tone for the experience. Back to the hot dog--when we sat down, I picked it up only to realize the bun was completely hard, almost like a rock. It became clear that the employee must've noticed and attempted to soften it in a microwave, but it didn't help much. I tried to make it work, but the bun wouldn't even tear, so I had to give up on my hot dog entirely. This theater really needs some updates--not just in food quality, but in overall cleanliness and maintenance. I'll probably return since it's the most convenient location for me, but it's definitely not for the experience. read more

I adore the theater. I've been to many. Still, I haven't been to one that beats this one. The seats are the most comfortable you will find. The employees are friendly, quick and helpful. The quality of the films is much better in my opinion at this theater. The only reason I took away a star is because there food could be better. I like their chicken strips and their mozzarella sticks. I haven't tried too many other things. But those items could improve just a little. I also love this theater because it has a community feeling to it as apposed to larger theaters. It's a local theater feeling and I'd rather go to only this theater if I have the choice. :) read more

The manager replied that he would be glad to sell me another box. NO REFUNDS, NO SWAPS. the crap was stale and he would be glad to sell me another box. Unfxxxing real. Advertised $5.99 movies for Tuesday, show up and paid for a movie not on the list (yea apparently it's only some movies, despite "all ticket all day" being on the ad) asked for a refund for the movie we didn't watch and was refused. Called customer service where they also refused, stating I was definitely wrong but also argumentative. read more

My mother (from Vilonia) had been coming to this establishment for a while.... We spent over $100 on tickets and food/drinks. The manager and owner were thoroughly checking purses before letting us into the theater. My mom had a box of chocolate covered raisins in her purse and was instructed she couldn't bring them in. Our hands were full with popcorn and drinks. So, I pointed out how much money we had just spent - thinking they couldn't be serious. But the owner couldn't have cared less about that... I said we'll just get a refund on the food and drinks then - the owner snapped back and said we should go ahead and get a refund for our tickets too - then pointed to the counter suggesting we needed to leave. The owner said I cussed the manager. I may have said are you f'ing serious (because really - all that over a box of raisins - when we had just spent $100). But I definitely didn't diss the manager. The owner got up in my face and was pointing a large flashlight at me. He and I exchanged words as my mother was waiting to get a refund. He was clearly attempting to act professional - but it was pretty cringe. He let me know as I was walking out that he was very well off - that the establishment was paid off and he was debt free. So - rest assured where your money is going when you pay high concession prices. read more

Went to this movie house after a long time (actually pre covid) and I could not believe how bad this place had got. For a couple we paid $51 and some change, which included the couples combo. As I needed a refill of popcorn I was changed an additional $5.29 as refills were no longer being catered for. This will be last time we visit this movie house. I would rather wait for the movie when its available to stream. I do believe that this establishment is going out of business, as my wife and I were the only patrons in the cinema. read more

Allows 2 alcohol drinks (beer or wine) but requires you to wear a wristband and they will mark it to regulate the 2 drink maximum. The "ticket" is a tiny recipet that is maybe one inch wide and easy to lose. Upon entering they require a purse check to get into the theater. Never had to do that before. The showing started 20min late and you sit in complete silence while you wait. Lastly the $5 Tuesday only applies to certain movies so make sure to double check. The seats are comfortable though! read more

They've updated all of their theaters to have "VIP" leather reclining seats, all can be reserved online. You can tell they were in a rush to update their theaters because the walkways in the aisles and in front of the seats are still exposed wood, you can hear your footsteps because of it being hollow underneath. Processes and website still severely outdated, so no Fandango, and you STILL have to go to the concession stand to then get tickets if you purchased online. The prices are RIDICULOUS! Matinee is a whopping $9.25 with a service fee of $2.00!! Cinemark in LR is cheaper and have reclining seats, early bird prices are like $6.50! Movie Tavern is about $7.50 for matinee! Yep, higher than market rates for sure. This ain't California. read more

Came here last night and didn't really have a great experience. During our movie there were kids talking and so a guy went and told someone. The lady comes up to my boyfriend and I assuming it was us and straight up starts yelling at us during the movie. Saying "oh you like to talk and be on your phone during a movie get your stuff and go to the lobby" I can understand that she may have assumed it was us because we were behind him but what bothered me was that she didn't even apologize to us. Then later on I went to get popcorn while the movie was still playing and the lady at the counter told me that they aren't making popcorn anymore because they are closed. You would assume that they would keep making popcorn until all the movies are done. Came home and was going to refresh my cup that I got at the movies only to find that the bottom of my cup was dirty with the entire bottom of with black stuff. read more

First of all, as a businessman, I recognize the times dictates there may not be enough employees to keep this place perfect (i.e. reviews re the bathrooms being clean, which I can't relate to as they are when I have been there). But come on, a local theater with power recliners for every chair in a town this size??? Simply awesome! Even got pullout lap tables??? I've experienced over the past 5 years here a few things (once the sound was too loud & I had to alert them), but overall, so happy this theater is available & I see the hard working management & employees behind the scenes. Besides be trashy and long lines to get a ticket, the ads that say every movie is $5 is a hoax. That only applies to certain movies and it written in microscopic print below the big advertisement. Concession prices are ridiculous. $15.25 for a large drink and large popcorn. Theaters aren't better than anything surrounding. Recliners are small. Large drink doesn't even fit in the table cup holder. No ability to use Fandango and if you preorder online, you have to pay a $3 service fee per ticket!! Concession prices alone will have me going to elsewhere for sure but they charge like they are the best theater in the state and aren't even close. read more

Me and my young daughter where watching Spider-man when we decided it was time to refill our drinks. Getting up to the concessions, we noticed that one of the older females was engaged in extremely inappropriate conversation. Suggesting sexual conversation with a very young employee, me not wanting my daughter to hear this filth decided that we would rather not drink at all. Now my daughter keeps asking me questions about "69s" and "Reverse Cowgirls" and im worried these questions will end up in school, after attempting to get a hold of the theatre via Phone i decided to head inside and ask, again concessions was absolutely empty and I suggested to myself that the pamphlets they had would hold the information I desired, instead it showcased this disgusting woman as the Employee of the Month! Just pay the extra two dollars you would save on the tickets for another movie theater, plus their food is unreasonably more expensive for smaller sizes. The highlight though is the horrible customer service, worst I've seen in a LONG time!!!! They are very rude, and then they have no name tags for you to know who is being disrespectful to you! I bought a pickle and asked for an extra paper bag to go over it because one they game me was soaked through, the woman (I think a manager because she seemed to be trying someone and had all they keys) then exclaimed "I'll have to charge you extra for that!" Also they don't give you a receipt. I would be afraid they would spit in my food, especially after this review, but I'm assuming that would probably cost extra as well. Went there a few times before, never had a problem. Went there today and wont be back. employees were rude! Overcharged me and then got an attitude with ME, because i didn't tell their employee that (obviously is blind) because he couldn't tell my 8 year old child is under 12 years old and charged her as an adult. SMH.. I didn't get my money back though, because I figured they needed it to hire more employees to clean their nasty building, went inside the theater room to watch the movie and there was all kinds of gunk and left over food in the cup holders. Worst theater I've ever been to. All the theaters smell like mildewed urine. Concession line and line to get into the theater get all mixed into one long line out the door. This is a HORRIBLE theater. It's stuck in time somewhere between the 1980's and modern day. It's not old enough to pull off that "old-timey" feel, but these people also clearly haven't even tried to keep up with the times. It's exactly the same as when I was a kid 20 years ago. Things you should know before you go: -The line for concessions and movie tickets is one and the same, thereby ensuring that you will have a 30 minute wait to purchase your tickets--even if you don't want concessions. -Only within the last few months have they started accepting credit/debit cards. Before that, it was cash only. I only mention that to help you understand how antiquated this place is and how pathetic the ownership/management is. -Forget pre purchasing your tickets on Fandango. These people don't even know what the Internet is. -The lobby is tiny, and quickly gets overcrowded due to their insistence that everyone go through the concession line. You'll often find yourself standing outside in the cold waiting in line. Finally, a story to illustrate why I'll never go back. After standing in line 30 minutes to buy our tickets, finding out we could only pay with cash (which we luckily just so happened to have that day), purchasing our concessions, and then standing in line to get into the theater for another 20 minutes, we were finally told by management that the power had gone out earlier that day and they were running 3 hours behind on their showings. So, they cancelled our showing and--after we complained to the management--they refunded our tickets and concessions. They couldn't control a power outage, but they DID know before we bought our tickets that they were running behind, and they still let over 100 people buy tickets and concessions to movies they weren't even going to be showing!!! Inexcusable. I swore I'd never go back, but the allure of having a theater in my home town was enough for me to give it another try. So, cash in hand, we arrived 30 minutes early. Only for me and my 8 months pregnant wife to stand in line in the hallway for an hour (30 minutes past the scheduled showtime) because they had gotten behind on their schedule. By the common definition, I'm insane because I keep trying the same theater expecting different results. I guess I just really wanted to like it. But, NEVER AGAIN. For the Hunger Games debuting this weekend, we will be driving to either the Regal in NLR or Breckenridge in LR, because it's worth the drive. read more

I rated this a four for a few reasons. I love this hometown movie theatre for its convenience and cleanliness overall as well as the amazing new theatre seats that are super comfy. While they can be a bit expensive, overall I would say it's worth it. They could use some better training for staff however or even just having some management that is visibly present and overseeing would be helpful. The only reason that this travesty of a business is still operating is because the only other theaters nearby are in North Little Rock. The guy who owns this theater has the worst business acumen I have ever witnessed. He runs a few other dingy theaters that have little or no competition nearby so he keeps these theaters at bare bones. I have a child who worked there so I know how they operate. They recently started searching bags for "weapons" but what they are really doing is making sure you aren't bringing any outside food. Pay attention to the prices, example: they charge $2 for butter! My wife and I went to watch the new Star Trek movie this past Sunday, and I must say this place has really gone down hill since the last time we came. First off, they recently have started charging $.50 per layer of butter on your popcorn. I do not know how to respond to "How many layers of butter do you want?", as it's something I am used to quantifying. The fountain drinks are either flat or taste like carbonated water, pick your poison. They have recently started having the poor employees search women's bags as they ticket you, which looks like the employees feel really awkward about, and I do not blame them. The line you are fed is to look for concealed handguns, but in reality they are making sure you don't bring in outside food or drinks. So if you are bringing food in, be creative! The theater was hot, which is a drastic change from the cool temperature one associates with a movie theater. Most of the chairs are broken, at least the ones I tried to sit in. There was no filler being shown on screen as we were seated, just a white screen and some awful static coming from the speakers. Then when the time came for the showing to start, we had to sit through 20 Minutes of Commercials before being shown 1 preview and then the movie started. I am now used to having to watch commercials in movie theaters, ad revenue and what not, but 20 minutes is extremely excessive, and I am not over stating that either, our movie was to start at 1;45 and their were commercials until 2:05. I will be driving the extra 25 minutes to go to a newer, cleaner, and friendly theater. read more

My elderly mother and my daughter went to see a movie today and received the worst service ever! After purchasing their tickets and getting ready to enter the movie an employee asked to look in my mother's change purse which is large enough to hold a little change and a debit card. We have never had to have our wallets searched and it is not posted anywhere on site about having to be searched. They were horribly rude to my mother and made her feel extremely uncomfortable. Not wanting them to go through her change purse, she asked for a refund. The manager refused to give her a refund and refused to let her in the theater. So, my elderly mother and 8 year old daughter had to leave the theater without seeing a movie and without a refund. When asked where this policy is posted in the business, they said that it is not posted anywhere. I am horribly disappointed to write this review because I live in Cabot and I always want to support our local business. However, after the way the employees and manager treated my mother and daughter today, I will never refer anyone to this business again. read more
