Over priced with low quality viewing. The only reason this place is in business is because it has no competition.

Theater looks old and needs updating. Won't give you a container to share a large popcorn. Concession prices are too high.

Concession prices are ridiculous. Building is run down. This place should be shut down.

The Rialto is a jewel that our town is lucky to have. The art deco building is unique to this part…read moreof Arkansas and adds charm to the town's main square. They play second run movies for only $3, matinees and Tuesdays $1. Popcorn and drinks are downright cheap and you won't have to take out a second mortgage to have a snack to enjoy with the movie. Seats, sound, and projection are all top notch and updated. The theater is now owned by the city and provides an affordable and enjoyable service to the community. I hope everyone in Searcy will support The Rialto and get out there and enjoy a night out at the movies that won't break the bank. Movies a special in this kind of environment and not in some nondescript cineplex.

I barely had enough time to get to know this courteous and down to earth people. The confederate flag waving across the street was a bit appalling to see waving in 2019, but what kind of American would I be if I didn't let my love of historic theater restoration and movies themselves and get to know these people and share the commonality that we do have. Hey, they might not be down with the statue of the confederate general too. That's their antiquated past. However, the young gentleman with the beard and cap behind the concession stand suggested a great cafe in its own right for a comfy sit down. And as I walked through this small town's serene streets back to the theater, I fantasized of how profoundly cool it would be to see my favorite cult classic movies on a summer night with a refreshing soda and warm, golden popcorn. But I had to keep to the road and the $10 shirt that I baught to help raise money to restore the seats was well with it.

I recently visited this theater to watch the new Taylor Swift movie and decided to treat myself to…read morea hot dog. When ordering, I noticed the staff member took the bun into a side room for a long moment, which I found a little odd but didn't think much of at the time. The moment we stepped into the theater, we were hit with a strong, unpleasant odor that honestly set a bad tone for the experience. Back to the hot dog--when we sat down, I picked it up only to realize the bun was completely hard, almost like a rock. It became clear that the employee must've noticed and attempted to soften it in a microwave, but it didn't help much. I tried to make it work, but the bun wouldn't even tear, so I had to give up on my hot dog entirely. This theater really needs some updates--not just in food quality, but in overall cleanliness and maintenance. I'll probably return since it's the most convenient location for me, but it's definitely not for the experience.

I adore the theater. I've been to many. Still, I haven't been to one that beats this one. The seats…read moreare the most comfortable you will find. The employees are friendly, quick and helpful. The quality of the films is much better in my opinion at this theater. The only reason I took away a star is because there food could be better. I like their chicken strips and their mozzarella sticks. I haven't tried too many other things. But those items could improve just a little. I also love this theater because it has a community feeling to it as apposed to larger theaters. It's a local theater feeling and I'd rather go to only this theater if I have the choice. :)
