They play second run movies for only $3, matinees and Tuesdays $1. Popcorn and drinks are downright cheap and you won't have to take out a second mortgage to have a snack to enjoy with the movie. Seats, sound, and projection are all top notch and updated. The theater is now owned by the city and provides an affordable and enjoyable service to the community. I hope everyone in Searcy will support The Rialto and get out there and enjoy a night out at the movies that won't break the bank. The staff that worked our screening last night were absolutely top notch! I wish I could've seen…read moresomething or done a movie marathon here on my own time. I barely had enough time to get to know this courteous and down to earth people. The confederate flag waving across the street was a bit appalling to see waving in 2019, but what kind of American would I be if I didn't let my love of historic theater restoration and movies themselves and get to know these people and share the commonality that we do have. Hey, they might not be down with the statue of the confederate general too. That's their antiquated past. However, the young gentleman with the beard and cap behind the concession stand suggested a great cafe in its own right for a comfy sit down. And as I walked through this small town's serene streets back to the theater, I fantasized of how profoundly cool it would be to see my favorite cult classic movies on a summer night with a refreshing soda and warm, golden popcorn. But I had to keep to the road and the $10 shirt that I baught to help raise money to restore the seats was well with it.

I recently visited this theater to watch the new Taylor Swift movie and decided to treat myself to…read morea hot dog. When ordering, I noticed the staff member took the bun into a side room for a long moment, which I found a little odd but didn't think much of at the time. The moment we stepped into the theater, we were hit with a strong, unpleasant odor that honestly set a bad tone for the experience. Back to the hot dog--when we sat down, I picked it up only to realize the bun was completely hard, almost like a rock. It became clear that the employee must've noticed and attempted to soften it in a microwave, but it didn't help much. I tried to make it work, but the bun wouldn't even tear, so I had to give up on my hot dog entirely. This theater really needs some updates--not just in food quality, but in overall cleanliness and maintenance. I'll probably return since it's the most convenient location for me, but it's definitely not for the experience.

The quality of the films is much better in my opinion at this theater. The only reason I took away a star is because there food could be better. I like their chicken strips and their mozzarella sticks. I haven't tried too many other things. But those items could improve just a little. I also love this theater because it has a community feeling to it as apposed to larger theaters. It's a local theater feeling and I'd rather go to only this theater if I have the choice. :)

This…read moreis possibly the worst theater I've ever been in, the chairs were not cleaned they were covered in popcorn from the last movie. Within a few minutes of sitting down I had a bug crawling on me...probably from the lack of cleanliness. Not enough is offered at concessions. I wasn't confident enough in the establishment to order any more than a soda. The screen was the smallest I've seen and they try to make up for it by making it AS LOUD as possible. The movie was skipping like it was a DVD...I could go on and on. This place needs a complete overhaul. From outside in. Wouldn't recommend to anyone and will avoid at all costs moving forward. The area is severely lacking good theaters unfortunately
