They play second run movies for only $3, matinees and Tuesdays $1. Popcorn and drinks are downright cheap and you won't have to take out a second mortgage to have a snack to enjoy with the movie. Seats, sound, and projection are all top notch and updated. The theater is now owned by the city and provides an affordable and enjoyable service to the community. I hope everyone in Searcy will support The Rialto and get out there and enjoy a night out at the movies that won't break the bank. Movies a special in this kind of environment and not in some nondescript cineplex.

I barely had enough time to get to know this courteous and down to earth people. The confederate flag waving across the street was a bit appalling to see waving in 2019, but what kind of American would I be if I didn't let my love of historic theater restoration and movies themselves and get to know these people and share the commonality that we do have. Hey, they might not be down with the statue of the confederate general too. That's their antiquated past. However, the young gentleman with the beard and cap behind the concession stand suggested a great cafe in its own right for a comfy sit down. And as I walked through this small town's serene streets back to the theater, I fantasized of how profoundly cool it would be to see my favorite cult classic movies on a summer night with a refreshing soda and warm, golden popcorn. But I had to keep to the road and the $10 shirt that I baught to help raise money to restore the seats was well with it.

Let's start with the seats. Recliners that make it feel like you're watching a movie at home, but better because you get a huge screen. Comfortable, spacious, and just the right angle to get lost in whatever you're watching. I love to put my legs up like I'm watching a movie at home on the couch. Then, there's the drinks & food. They actually have good IPAs on tap or bottled (which is a huge win for a movie theater), and hot, fresh pizza. Now, a lot of the food is your typical movie theater BS, but those Pizza Hut mini pizzas? Pretty solid. Like B- solid. Especially if freshly hot. Definitely a step above the popcorn-and-nachos routine. We were assigned screen 14. Apparently the A/C was out and had been all day. It was more than 85° F in the theater and felt like it was climbing as the movie went on. My 60 year old mother overheated and had to leave the theater. When she asked for a glass of water the staff REFUESED her the WATER and had the nerve to tell her to "enjoy her movie". Needless to say we got our money back and will not be returning. Its disappointing that the experience we can have watching tv at home would have been far better than the disrespectful sweat lodge of a buisiness they are running.

There was dirt built up on all of the speakers (that didn't even have sound the whole movie). There was cob webs all over the walls and where the movie is projected, my whole party had at least 1 bug on us sitting in the top row, the employees said they only have anything cleaned once a day (we had to move trash just to sit down) while 5 of them were standing around talking and not doing anything... I'm appalled by every aspect of this place. The owner needs to get it together, for a cash only business it needs new management or someone who actually cares about their business. Health dept and code enforcement should get involved obviously... waste of money and time 100%

I didn't see anything explaining it but I figured it out and got popcorn and a drink while picking it up, yes, you pick up your tickets at concessions. Went to the theater which was small. It was set up for a 3-d showing so all the ads and pre movie showings had the top of their heads cut off. When the movie started it was in letterbox because the screen wasn't big enough. Also the movie's sound wasn't loud enough, some dialogue was muffled and you could hear other movies playing through the projection room. It was my first time there so if I do go there again I'd be sure not to watch a 3D movie since the screen isn't the right size for them.
