We were really excited to try this place because it had a dive bar vibe and my hubby said the Pizza was really good. His bands had played there and I really trust him when it comes to food. He wasn't wrong. The Pizza was really good. The "cheesy bread" was literally just cheese melted on a hoagie roll. Skip it. Not worth it. Anyway.... we ended up being there like 2 hours. The person who took my order seemed to be in a mood but she lightened up some as we ordered. A little over a half hour in, I noticed people who came in after us were getting their orders, so I asked her where ours was. She said she would check it out but apparently never did. So my friend went to ask her where our food was and when my friend approached the chick was like "what's up?" Okay... like... again... what's going on with our food? We assumed that time she would check, but apparently she didn't. Because the third time we asked for it, someone else was there to help us and that's when we found out they lost our ticket. Thank gawds we had a receipt. Long story short, two hours later we got food so piping hot we had to take it back to the hotel to eat it. It was pretty stinking good once it was cool enough to eat. So maybe this was an off night for them. It was the dismissive attitude and being completely unconcerned that turned me off. If I was back in town, I MIGHT try it again if I'm not in a hurry just because the pizza was really good. read more

Very solid pizza spot. Ordered a pie for the family so we could take a break from Holiday leftovers. A retro, pizza-pub style local bar, vino's is serving up some top tier pizza. We went with the Vino's special and were not disappointed. Pizza was ready in a flash and the pie was still piping hot when I got it home. Not a Chicago or New York pie, but in a classic of their own. We loved the sausage and the crust on their pizza. Will be back for more indeed! read more

This trip I had a garden salad with their famous dressing and washed it down with their house made root beer. A must try. Just like other reviews mentioned, it leans heavily into that punk aesthetic, so if that's not your thing, it's worth noting. I was recommended vino's from several people in the area for some pizza. When I arrived, it's definitely a place that is different...it has a cool dive bar feel to it which I did enjoy. My friends and I tried a couple different pizzas. One which was the chicken BLT and the other which was vino's special. Honestly, the chicken BLT isn't worth mentioning and I would not recommend, however, the Vino's special was pretty good topped with several meats and toppings, close to a supreme style. I did not enjoy the pizza crust overall. The pizzas were very mediocre in my opinion. I did attach some photos of the pizzas in this post, but due to the lighting it was hard to capture the actual look of the pizza. Let's start with the service. The woman at the register taking the orders was friendly and patient. It was our first time in a we had our kids who aren't the most decisive so kudos to her! Next, we got a 3 meat pizza and it was amazing! The sausage is perfect and the ham was excellent! We also got a calzone with chicken and bacon which was to die for. They put ricotta in with mozzarella which I have never had before. Now let's talk beer, the in house brewed beer was awesome. I'm a huge lager fan and the uncommon lager might be one of my favorites I've ever had. If you're in the area or even pretty close come check this place out it's great! Only knock I'd give this place is the wack ass ranch they have. I had not been to Vinos in over 8 years due to military transfers, but upon retiring and moving downtown, I had to stop in and reminisce. I Was happy to see the place was mostly the same, had multiple additional beer selections, and had that same ole' slice of sunshine!! I'm sure the wonderful lady that checked up on me thought I was needing help finding my chaperone. All I could say to her was "so happy" like some simpleton with a limited vocabulary. Went here midday with my buddy. We got there and we had the whole place to ourselves. That's awesome. I love that. But the staff wasn't very attentive. I think, "okay well the pizza should make up for it" - all we got was a plain pepperoni. The pizza gets there and we take a bite. It tastes worse than a frozen pizza. Beer should be the saving grace because they brew it in house - no both beers were both very artificial tasting. Also if I could work at a place and drink on the clock I would think it's awesome, but as a customer looking in, it's not very professional. We saw multiple workers drinking on the job. I have a bad report about Vino's, unfortunately. While it has previously been a very good place to go, today suddenly it became hostile towards my presence there. I stopped in this morning and they told me they weren't open yet, so I said cool, I'll come back later Then, at appx. 12:45pm, I went back to buy me and a friend a beer and a slice of pizza, and this guy, Jason, refused me admittance and told me I wasn't welcome there anymore because I supposedly yelled at one of his employees earlier, which I absolutely did not do. So, I hate to say it, but I have been mistreated by this establishment, which I previously liked, and now I'm on the outs with them over some BS I don't even understand and didn't do. I just wanted a regular pizza to bring over to a friend's place for dinner. Holy smokes! This was a delicious pizza, in no was was it "regular". The crust had a salty crispy deapth of flavor that delighted me. The sauce was a structure designed to showcase the actual tomatoes. The ratio of cheese to pepperoni to mushrooms to jalapeños was perfection. After dinner we almost had a fight to figure out who got to keep the leftovers. I'll be back!! read more

I went for the first time off recommendation two days ago. From the original art, grungy vibe and kind staff when you walk in, I was looking forward to this experience. Then we got our food. It was a decent price for decent food. I appreciated the large pizza slices however it didn't stand out to me. Further, I don't think the ranch was fresh. It tasted homemade- which is cool- but had a strange after taste. The last thing of note was a particular smell in the back room to the left. It was not pleasant. It wasn't so bad that we got up and left but it wasn't welcoming. This probably wouldn't be of note to many however I do think it's something to mention. read more

What a cool hidden pizza spot! The business is located in a quiet undeveloped area of downtown, but the vibe inside of the establishment is awesome. The service was friendly and fast, the music was on point, and the veggie pizza was pretty good. I would visit again! This place is not good. Seeing all the great reviews, the only reason why I tried it, I'm thinking I may have come on a bad night. The pizza slices are huge, however, the sauce was not fresh. The slices are extremely thin and it tasted very dry. Almost as if the slices had been made and someone just lightly reheated them. I almost got through 1 of the 2 slices I ordered and left.
