I don't like to get that ink on my body and I told him I didn't want to get stamped. Ordered a drink was there for at least an hour before Manager came up to me and told me I needed to get stamped. I asked if I could get stamped on a napkin or something else because I don't want my body stamped. She said I had to have a stamp on my body. At that point, I objected as I've always been allowed to go without a stamp. I am 55 years old and it's obvious I am of age to drink. This harassment is ridiculous. I was banned from the establishment for my refusal to get a stamp and even if I was allowed back would never return. Keep treating customers like this kings and you'll be out of business before long.

We moved under the patio cover, and that was a lovely way to watch and hear the rain until the wind really picked up and we moved inside. We ordered an olive hummus which was surprisingly decent (I'm not an olive fan normally) with pita chips. I wasn't a huge fan of the pita chips, but they served as a perfectly fine delivery mechanism for said hummus. I had two teenage boys who are BIG eaters and they said the theater buffett was their best meal of our entire trip to Hot Springs. A bunch of variety from chicken wings, to turkey to beef and chicken, plenty of awesome sides and just a ton of great food to choose from. We attended on the opening night of the Christmas Spectacular show so close to a sold-out crowd and still plenty of food - even with folks of course piling their plates to the ceiling. We thought the wait staff was fun and energetic - drinks were re-filled quickly and nice generous pours of wine. The Christmas Musical Spectacular show - was Spectacular. I realize that wait times can be longer on crowded nights--this is not because of that. Our server, Ivy, was incredibly rude and completely ignored us. She served all the tables around us, even sitting and chatting with customers or friends numerous times, despite the restaurant being packed and tables not receiving service. My group wanted to get food and drinks. Since the restaurant was crowded and our server hadn't come to our table for around 10 minutes after we sat down, we ordered our first round of drinks at the bar. No big deal. What frustrated us was when the server completely ignored or disregarded us MULTIPLE times as we politely tried to get her attention to order food. Ivy would walk right past us when she could clearly hear us trying to get her attention, or she would just look at us and then look away, as if doing her job wasn't worth her time. My friend went up to her to ask if she could take our order, and Ivy only told her something along the lines of "not right now." After around 30-40 minutes of sitting at the table, we realized we weren't going to get food from Ivy, so we moved to another server's section. I wish I could remember our second server's name, because she came up to us within maybe 1-2 minutes to ask for our orders and was genuinely so nice to us!! We told her about how rude Ivy had been, and the server apologized and said that apparently Ivy was like that a lot. My friends and I literally did nothing that would have caused Ivy to be rude to us. Ivy just decided that she would rather sit and talk with friends while on the job instead of serving us, then treat us like dirt on her shoe when we ask for food.
