I was honored or perhaps unimpressed is a better word, with the skillset of The Nail Tech, Henry who also holds the esteemed position of Manager of the establishment. His attempt to upsell was both futile and to be expected, as I am painstakingly aware that these salons only see dollars signs. Money talks. But how could I be compelled to pay for the highest ticket item in exchange for poor service, regardless? I refuse. So thank you to this nail salon for being my last straw--the last one I ever go to. I have retired from the notion that nail salons can deliver more than half-hearted sloppy service. Henry was careless. My nails were jagged and uneven and Henry tsk tsk tsked the entire time he painted, knowing his handy work was shabby but would rather finish the poor job than to lose money. He couldn't be bothered to fix his mistakes. He rushed through the process. I left with grace. Poised and generous, I was. I will never step foot inside any nail salon ever again.

I used to go to a nail salon in Newberry, but I stopped after two nails popped off after a few days (this was the third time it happened), and the wait time was always longer than expected. A friend of mine told me about Prosperity Nails, and when I first stepped into the salon, I was greeted with welcoming smiles and pleasant faces. The place is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, neat, and clean! They seated me very quickly, asked if I would like any beverage (they have champagne yalllll) and they worked efficiently and with great attention to detail. The quality of their work is outstanding, and I always leave feeling satisfied and pampered. I highly recommend Prosperity Nails to anyone looking for excellent nail services!
