And it really doesn't matter...due to the atmosphere, people will continue to come here no matter what! It's literally that great! If you are at the bar ordering a drink due to the fact you will wait for a table, no matter the time of day...Do not get stung by the huge amount of bees that surround the soda station and the right side of the bar. I understand that the bartenders and servers are busy but service and attitudes are to the extreme! I think that businesses forget to tell their employees...people are PAYING to eat here. Most on vacation and don't want an attitude. But again, due to the atmosphere...most people will overlook the attitudes. Anyway, the food is severely lacking. Maybe they were outside but we didn't look. We were a little undecided about staying but the bartender/waitress said their food was really good so we stayed. We had cheeseburgers and cheese steaks and they were very good. Fries were also excellent. This is a bar that serves good food not a restaurant that serves alcohol so keep that in mind. Atmosphere is a typical bar. I think there were only high top tables with backless stools so not real comfortable for older folks. That being said, my 4 to 5 stars is really just for the food. It won't be part of our regular rotation of restaurants but we'll go back.

They serve beer and wine and soft drinks too. They also serve snacks too. It's an unexpected pleasure in the country where anyone can feel at home. They also have a turkey shoot yearly. The have pool table and jukebox when band isn't playing. Not to mention they have an outdoor seating and it's nice under the big oak tree. I really have enjoyed myself each time I have gone and I believe anyone who loves country music and a family type atmosphere will too.

It is indeed a little bar in a wee little building that was probably some sort of shop prior to its…read moreuse in this capacity. It's not far from the heart of downtown Live Oak and not far from the railroad tracks, either, of which you become quickly aware when a freight train passes by. Despite the small space, they have a pool table inside, a bar (of course) and that pool table doubles as a buffet table when they have potlucks and the like. There is apparently also an outdoor tiki bar area in the yard behind the building but I didn't go back there. Beer is the preferred spirit it seems and the crowd is about 99% locals, mostly middle-aged but some in their early to mid twenties. The theme therefore is country/biker to an extent but they were playing old hard rocks standards when I was there and then . . . something . . . not sure what it was, but some song I remember from the early 2000s that probably was Linkin Park or a band that copied Linkin Park. So aside from the B-list or C-list early 2000s blast from the past, a very cool and low-key bar in a very handy location in Live Oak.
