Lila is fantastic at what she does with professionalism and care. Don't hesitate to get your mind at ease you will be pleased.

One star is far too kind for this "therapist." I hate the idea of leaving bad reviews but in…read moretelling a friend of my experience recently she gave me the sobering advice that it's important to share this information with people seeking therapy because Lila Reid could be highly detrimental to their emotional health and well-being. It's not extreme to say she could be the cause of someone in severe mental health distress getting worse. Lila was late to 95% of our appointments; she spent the first 5-10 minutes of each appointment struggling to put her phone on 'do not disturb', set music to play, and light incense without a word of apology or offering to extend the session; she was combative and unprofessional every chance she got; she yawned through most of our sessions incessantly; I had to repeat myself multiple times because she simply wasn't paying attention; and concluded our communication with an accusation and attack on my personal character...yes...the woman I sought out for help and guidance during one of the lowest points in my life took the opportunity to attack me and my character when I simply said I didn't think it was working out and would seek alternative solutions. On our 3rd appointment I was in her waiting room in tears since my boyfriend and I had broken up that day and she storms in shouting at me, "I told you I'd be late!" I had to inform her my tears had nothing to do with her (repeated) tardiness and asked her why she felt the need to yell at me when I was clearly at my worst emotionally. When I told her we broke up she responded with a gasp and a, "Oh no, I thought he was the one!" Umm...why? She'd seen me three times at this point and felt this response was appropriate and professional? At an earlier session she had informed me that my health insurance wasn't paying my claims and I told her I'd look into it which I did, even after I told her I was going to try to find another therapist. I was kind, I was respectful, I was gracious, I just said I was going to try to find a therapist closer to my home. I emailed her after we were done letting her know my insurance had no claims from her and passed along some tips they offered me. She replied lying that she never said they weren't paying and "I know how to do my job." After several back and forth emails including her blatantly attacking my character I ended communication as she was negatively impacting my mental health.
