The menu they have the store does not have prices but the paper menu does, but when I picked one up they said oh those are the old prices. So basically it's a roulette on what you're paying. But at least there decent selection for deli. I got an Italian combo, the sandwich itself was great and pretty huge for the price I paid, despite the roulette wheel. Only knock I could give is communication since i asked for mine, to not have tomatoes, lettuces, onions and jalapeños, and add Munster cheese and mayo. The quality of the food is really good as well as the quantity! management is ok. However when they provide the amount that you owe, it should stay that amount when you pay! I got charged an extra 20 cents on my card after the transaction was taken. And the prices, the prices are never the same when I go to buy things! There is always a change in price, almost as if the people in the deli are charging whatever they want individually. Have a set price for things! Other than that, no complaints. read more

I used to order from them almost everyday but, lately there prices are sufficiently higher. I stopped ordering their breakfast sandwiches because of the high price. The last straw was today , I went on line and looked at the menu. For a tuna sandwich the price ($5.95) . when I picked up the sandwich it was $7.00. That's just insane. On top of which the sandwich was horrible. I'm done with them! I realized that everyone is trying to recover from the pandemic but this is not the way to screw over your customers. read more

Simple place. They've got a good selection of deli meats. Pizza slices too but they never look fresher than an hour. Regular convenient store stuff gum cigarettes snacks drinks and candy. Seating area to eat. Private parking lot. Open til 10pm. Italian sub here is huge for $7 piled high with meat and the softest mozarella cheese. Just moved to the area, about a 5 minute walk from this place. Initially my wife and I were excited at the prospect of having something like this (Pizza, sandwiches, beer) down the street from us. After my first visit to check out the beer selection, I was thoroughly disappointed. I suppose they just stock the stuff that sells, giant cans of Genny Cream Ale, Corona, and Coors. Oh how they have soooo much Coors. Later that same week we decided to order a pizza and buffalo wings for dinner. The wings were just wrong. Breaded? Why is this so popular up here? Don't bread the buffalo wings! They just end up getting soggy and gross. The pizza was alright, nothing special about it. The sandwiches are great. They have the best chicken soup around. Each sandwich is served with a side of a big fat attitude. They're so rude. Unless you've got time to wait half an hour to stand around waiting for someone to properly assist you and then overcharge you, I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Pizza is a solid option. West side sandwich (pastrami) is a must try. Chicken cutlet sandwiches/salads are great. Breakfast sandwiches on a rockland bakery roll every morning. Great local joint! read more

Brand new renovated and very clean. Food is good. Its not blow your sox off great, but its better than anything else around here. I order dinner for the family about twice a month. Everyone seems unorginized, the register people are slow. Expect a long wait. read more

The food is not bad from here, at least the calzones. The problem that I have with the restaurant is that frequently the girls at the counter are incredibly rude. I'm sorry, but if I'm using my hard-earned money to have someone else make me food, the least you can do is be a little bit polite. I have had several issues with being overcharged. One time, they tried to charge me $40 for two small calzones and the cashier told me "they raised the prices" and then walked away! I mean honestly, I'm not asking for a fake smile, but don't walk away from me, not give me a receipt and expect me to be pleased with the service! I had to tell them to give me my money back and keep the calzones before anyone tried to solve the issue, even though plenty of other workers overheard the conversation about being overcharged. When the problem was "resolved" I was still overcharged but too aggravated to keep arguing. I would rather be treated decently, spend a few extra dollars, and get better food at Colandrea's! read more

I have lived in Scotchtown for about 30 years. When I first moved here Silverlake Deli sold just a coffee, soda, donuts, cigarettes,beer, etc. and became a dirty place. Now the new owners have really fixed the place up nice, and made it clean. My family has ordered pizza, wings and chicken parm heroes and they tasted very good to us. We feel the food is very good for the prices also. read more

Although Im not one to ever complain or compliment either. I had to express my feelings about this deli. Staff is nice. Sandwiches are good. Pizza is not bad either. I frequented this location for lunch but as of recently I will never go back, when I ordered a chef salad and saw the cashier who just handled 3 guests money ahead of me, making my salad with their bare hands. Totally grossed out! No matter how busy you are, cleanliness and safety ALWAYS come first! read more

just when you thought things were better.......NOT!!!! Try to order food at 7:30!! They now close at 8:00!! They wouldn't deliver. I have to agree with the others on customer service. They had the worst people working for them. I quit ordering from them. I gave them another chance a few months later. Come to find out, they fired the ignorant idiots that worked for them. I was happy and started to frequent the establishment once again. I always try to help the local businesses..even if it means paying a bit more. If the owner of this business wants the locals to support him, I suggest thinking about customers first, the taking time off second. I was a 1-2 times a week customer ordering food and having it delivered. I am finally done with them. Prices are no bargain, but was convenient.
