When I was doing research and took tours of other preschools, the White House preschool was a no brainer. The school is clean, with the cutest decor and a home feel to it. Then we spoke with Ms. Linda who is the owner and I received such a warm feeling with her that I knew I wanted ms Linda to be a part of my kids education. She is such a hard working, passionate woman. She truly loves what she does and treats the kids as if they are one of her own. My kids have learned so much. We are sad that this is my 4 year old daughter's last year but I am such a proud parent that my daughter can read and do math before she enters kindergarten. I can't wait to see my 2 year old develop his education at the white House preschool. He is already comfortable with his alphabets, numbers, colors and shapes and they are already teaching him how to write his name! All the kids love Ms. Linda. She is a teacher that would love to keep in touch with you to see how your kids are doing in their education. You will not regret sending your child here.

We've been with Primrose since my son was 9 months old and he is now almost 14 months old, so we've been in two classrooms so far. We really like his teachers! They had my son doing sign language at 10 months old as it is part of their curriculum. The infant room teachers were so lovable and it is evident that they truly cared about each and every baby. My favorite is how they speak with the babies so lovingly and patiently - exactly how I wanted my little one addressed. Now that he is in the 12-18 month old classroom, he is eating very well, getting a lot of outside time, and they send lots of pictures to show what our son is up to - which is everything from crafts, learning about animals and their sounds, learning about foods, playing musical instruments, reading books, learning to recognize each other's names, reciting the pledge of allegiance every morning, etc. They also work on both fine and gross motor skills. The food variety is also healthy and always sounds delicious. I feel like he gets better food at school than he does at home! I get jealous of what he eats when I get his daily reports! We do encounter hiccups here and there, but mostly minor and not enough to change our feelings about Primrose. It's a really good school and we love it here!

The boss babe, Jen, she listened and took action anytime it was needed and did her best to make your requests made- EVEN THROUGH the hardest times of the pandemic. I was so sad to pull my son out of after only being there for 6 months because I REALLY loved how they loved and cared for my son. But he started to feel unsafe and would cry and fight going. When I asked why, he would tell me the name of one teacher who just made him feel unsafe. I came to learn that anytime my son had to be around Ms. Nevi that he would do what he could to leave the immediate area. I also noticed little things that she would say or do didn't always add up. I cherish the memories we have from Starbright and was really looking forward to my second baby going there- but I couldn't continue to keep my son in a place with a teacher that he would scream in discomfort about.

Even though she has been away for two years now, she often reminisces about the delicious lunches and the fun experiences she had there. One of the things we appreciated most was the low staff turnover; as she progressed through different classes, we were always greeted by familiar faces. The amazing director, Jen, was incredibly supportive and communicative, which eased any concerns we had as parents. Each teacher we encountered was kind, patient, and truly exceptional. We always looked forward to drop-off and pick-up times because the atmosphere was so warm and inviting. The gentle parenting sessions they offered laid a strong foundation for us at home and were also reflected in the classroom. Overall, every element of the program was thoughtfully designed and incredibly beneficial. We have recommended Starbright to friends over the years, and one of them is still enrolled! If we were to have more children, we would enroll them at Starbright without hesitation. We miss it so very much!

Unfortunately all other daycares had a 1yr+ wait lists so we had no choice but to jump on the open spot here and paid to reserve the available spot. Later, we decided to visit the infant daycare room and meet the teachers before our baby started. Thank goodness we did. Every single child in the room was sick with very runny noses and coughs. When we asked what the limitations were for sick children the teachers said that they only turn children away if they have fever, are vomiting or have diarrhea. They flat out told us that we would just have to understand that there were always sick kids in the class and that our child would be getting sick. At one point, one of the more sick children spit up a good amount on the rug where all the kids were playing. The teacher barely wiped it up with a paper towel and spray allowing the other kids to play right where it was. They never wiped the spit up off the child's mouth. He put a rattle in his mouth getting spit up all over it when another child grabbed it and put it in their mouth. There was no real attempt at sanitation to avoid the spread of germs. Also the children were pretty fussy and the teachers did not seem at all confident or comfortable handling it. They seemed very overwhelmed and even frustrated. This was with only 6 children and they take up to 8 in that room. After that visit, there was no way we could imagine

My daughter will be in kindergarten next year, and she's ready for that, she can write her name and trying to read full word too in addition to counting and art etc. The preschool have fun classes every week like music, dance and happy feet class and monthly programs like parent night out, or a special visitor like the book mobile or a magician or baby kangaroo and horses (they will come in the next two days).
