I would highly recommend and take all my non-existing children to Mona's Daycare in a heartbeat.

But the teachers were so loving and took such great care of him. Now when I leave him at daycare, he's so happy with the teachers, he doesn't even notice when I leave sometimes. I love the daily reports and photos. He's moving up to the toddler classroom and the staff have been very good with letting us know about transitions. There's plenty of parking at the front, live camera feed so I don't miss him during work hours, very responsive to emails, and if there's any issue they call me straight away. Thank you teachers!

Unfortunately, over the past few months, we experienced several concerning issues that caused her distress and ultimately led us to make the very difficult decision to move her to a new school. We noticed a decline in care and communication beginning earlier this year around summertime. One of our daughter's teachers made comments such as "She doesn't like me," which felt inappropriate and insensitive given her age and emotional development. On multiple occasions, we witnessed emotional responses dismissed instead of acknowledged by teachers, for example, telling children not to cry or using a toy remote to "change" their mood instead of helping them process their feelings. There were also moments of unnecessarily harsh discipline. During one pickup, my daughter ran happily toward me and was immediately scolded by a teacher in front of the class. The tone felt punitive and unkind for a 3-year-old. We also had ongoing hygiene concerns. Our daughter frequently came home uncomfortable from sitting in soiled diapers, and even after being potty trained, she wasn't always properly cleaned. This led to severe irritation and discomfort, something that is avoidable in a childcare setting. When we brought these concerns to staff, the responses were heard, but later on the issues would arise again. We later learned that other families had also withdrawn for similar reasons, citing concerns about the disorganized environment, absence of structure, and insufficiently defined teaching curriculum, all of which created emotional stress and overwhelm for the students. To make matters worse, Kiddie Academy refused to refund our $1,000 deposit for the fall term, even though our daughter began the new school year and met their own enrollment criteria before we made the decision to withdraw her due to these ongoing issues. We've since moved our daughter to Birch Tree, and the difference has been night and day. The staff there are attentive, communicative, and genuinely caring. Questions and concerns are addressed immediately, and their follow-through is clear and consistent. They also provide a developmentally appropriate, well-structured curriculum with systems in place that foster a calm environment and significantly reduce the behavioral challenges many families had previously experienced at Kiddie Academy Bothell. For the first time in a long time our daughter is truly thriving. She is happy, supported, and excited to go to school every day. We're deeply disappointed by how things ended at Kiddie Academy Bothell. What was once a positive experience declined into something that felt indifferent and disorganized, and the lack of care ultimately cost them the trust of our family.

From the very first day here, all our worries disappeared. Miss Vijaya is absolutely amazing and has a genuine love and concern for the children she looks after. My son has been so happy since day one--he eats well, participates in tons of fun activities, and comes home excited to tell me about his day (if I can even convince him to leave, that is!). The warmth and attention he receives have completely transformed him into a confident, happy child. Knowing that he is cared for so lovingly has given me such peace of mind. This daycare is truly a hidden gem, and I would recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing and supportive environment for their little ones.

The teachers have been great to our daughter - transitioning from a daycare setting to a more 'academic' setting we think will very much prepare our daughter for her future elementary school enrollment. Communication between administration and families is good and the school is well organized - a breath of fresh air from the chaos we previously were a part of. We are thankful we got one of the lasts spots available at the last minute when we enrolled. We also like that there are in-school enrichment opportunities if desired. When school is not in session, camp is offered (a little more relaxed program) and we generally take advantage of it. Pricing wise, it was a little more expensive than traditional "keep them alive" daycare, and the extra quality and early academics you get is to us very much worth the difference.

The school is really well run and organized. There are no surprises and communication from teachers and the leaders is great. The staff truly care about my kiddo and are some of the nicest people. The cost is on par with other schools in the area that I researched and actually a better value if you need before and after care. The kids do have to wear uniforms Monday-Thursday but it's a looser policy than I've seen at other schools. And they have the option to add on additional classes to supplement the classroom with outside teachers like like music, tumbling, STEM, and athletics. We are lucky to have found them. Plus it's year round so no scrambling for summer camps and care! I researched a ton of schools before choosing this one and am happy with our choice!

Update: Another retaliation from the center - they called to mention that what they said last Friday that it cannot have incident report, can now do, and they started sending incident reports today (Monday 4/29) after seeing my review. Extremely disappointed, I genuinely thoug6Bright Horizons was better than this... Our 19 months old twins go to the center since they were 15 months. When they first joined the center, they were getting sick more often than not, and they were also being bitten at least once a day (where they'd send an acual official incident report - photos attached for one of the times the kid was bit). We got frustrated because of what happened, but by the time we raised a flag on the issue, things got better (we think the problem child with the biting moved to the twos class). However, not long after, the center started preparing to split up our twins without even telling us, so we raised the issue with them since we wanted our twins to have some bonding time yet, and they backed our of their plans. However, after this, they started saying that our toddlers make problems in the classroom by 'fighting over toys' between themselves and other children, 'pulling hair', as well as 'running off' on the hallways, and they put the kids on a 'behavior improvement plan' where we'd need to be ready to pick up the child any day where they make a problem in the classroom, and where the enrollment could be paused in two weeks if no improvement is noticed (we're not expecting them to report an improvement). Please note that: * In the center admin's eyes, (running off) and (fighting over toys) are not typical toddler behavior, but (biting) is. * There are no official incident reports for 'pulling hair', 'running off' or 'fighting over toys' if not child got hurt, so they're officially make it up here.

They are so warm and welcoming. Our daughter loves her teachers and loves going to daycare each day. Sometimes it's hard to get her to come home in the evenings. BH does so much for kids' learning. They have even suggested things that we can try at home to further the learning. They also care about every child. I have seen many teachers cuddling with children that need some extra attention at times (my kid included). I cannot recommend this facility enough. It is worth the money, no question about it!
