We've had a wonderful experience with KinderCare for our 4-year-old daughter. Her teacher, Varsha, has been absolutely amazing, very caring, patient, and attentive to each child's needs. She creates a warm and nurturing environment that makes our daughter feel comfortable and excited to go to school every day. We've noticed great improvement in our daughter's communication skills, confidence, and social development. The activities are well-balanced between learning and play, which keeps her engaged and happy. We also really appreciate the regular updates and communication from the staff, which gives us peace of mind as parents. Our son has been attending Penny Creek KinderCare, Everett since he was 6 months old, and at 18 months now, we couldn't be happier with the care he receives. The teachers do a fantastic job keeping the kids engaged with age-appropriate learning activities and truly prioritize their health and safety. It's a relief knowing he's in such a nurturing environment every day. My only small suggestion for improvement would be to see a bit more variety or focus on the food offerings, but overall, it's a wonderful place for early childhood development! read more

We can't say enough about Penny Creek KinderCare. Our kids went to a daycare based at my place of employment, so when I left, we had to find something else. We loved our previous school, and struggled with whether we'd every find another to fill such big shoes. We toured several local scincluding La Petit in Mukilteo, Kindercare in Brier, and Bright Star Academy in Lynnwood, but Penny Creek came highly recommended from dear friends, so although out of our way at the time, we gave it a shot. I can honestly say that Penny Creek has blown all of our expectations out of the water. Our whole family feels like we are a part of this school, and our kids (ages 2&4) are thriving. We enrolled our 4 year old into a phonics class, and now she is learning things that most kids don't learn until kindergarten or beyond. Our once shy two year old has totally come out of his shell. It's clear that all of the kids are well loved here, as each teacher knows them and their quirks, what they like and don't, and my kids always talk about how much they love their teachers when they get home. I also love that they play outside rain or shine, and offer a menu so you know what's being served any particular day. The facility is very clean, and check in and out is a breeze. Finally, they put on a holiday show that is the cutest thing you'll ever see. If you are wondering who to entrust with your little ones, you have found the right place. Penny Creek Kindercare is incredible! The environment is warm and bright, the staff is loving, engaging and most importantly cares about the kiddos and their families. When searching for a preschool for my little guy I went to several schools and quickly fell in love with this school because they took the time to get to know me and my child. The Director Janina is the absolute BEST! She is truly the heart of the school. My kiddo's teacher is Miss Lilia and she goes above and beyond every single day. She is a phenomenal teacher and does lots of art projects, music, sensory, exploration, circle time and playtime, etc. She takes time to send me lots of pictures throughout the day and tells me about his day. She truly cares and loves each and every one of her kiddos and it shows. I could not be more grateful that I get to send my little guy to a teacher who nurtures and genuinely engages with her students. You can tell that she loves what she does. I started KinderCare just over a month ago with the expectation that it was temporary. My 3mo old was already registered at anther local daycare but we suddenly needed a place in the interim, until his spot was available, and chose Kindercare. We have since cancelled our registration at the other daycare despite losing our initial registration fee. And it is completely worth it! Everyone that I have come in contact with at the center has been fantastic and they take great care of my son. The teachers in the infant room are friendly and helpful and you can tell that they all enjoy what they do. My son has always been happy when he heads home, and they always keep me informed of anything that comes up, which as a first time mom, makes me incredibly grateful. I get daily reports of what he's done that day and the educational activities he's taken part in. All aspects of this center seem really great to me, and I know that as my son grows, he will be well taken care of and engaged in each stage of his journey read more

My son (2 yo) has been enrolled here for about 4 months now and we've had nothing but good experiences. All of the teachers and staff are friendly, great with the kids, and happy to talk with us at drop-off and pick-up. The director, Janina, is very involved and present, and seems to take an interest in every child and family. We've been very impressed with his teacher and how in-tune she is to each individual kid's needs, habits, home life, etc. We also have an odd schedule, and found very few daycares that could accommodate our part-time needs. I toured several centers when I was pregnant with my son and this Kindercare was hands down the best I saw. The infant rooms are large and clean. There were two infant rooms - one for newborns to crawlers, and a second for the kids that were mobile. This is great for the younger kids, as it keeps them from being crawled over by the older babies. My son started at Kindercare when he was 8 weeks old. I had a typical reaction of a first time mom - meaning I burst into tears when it was time for me to go. The infant teachers were so reassuring and encouraged me to call as often as I wanted to to check on my baby. But before I had the chance, I got a photo text message from one of them of my smiling baby. In an instant I knew he was ok. My son stayed with Kindercare for nearly a year and I can't say how much I loved having him there. I never worried about him. He adored his teachers. I trusted them completely. The manager is slightly lacking in professionalism, but I can't say she doesn't care about the kids and show interest in them. The tuition is high ($299/week last time I checked), but there is truth in the saying that you get what you pay for. My son left before his first birthday so I can't comment on the other classrooms, but I would say for parents looking for infant care in the area, I definitely recommend this center. read more

We enrolled our 2.5-year old with Penny Creek KinderCare, but because the facility did not provide a live stream from the classrooms, I had to observe (peek) my child and his teacher and assistant every half an hour for the first two weeks of his attending KinderCare. During this period, I never saw his teacher, Allena, to smile or have a happy face with the kids. I saw her yelling at kids, throwing plates in front of the kids, and tit-for-tat with kids (kicking kids when they kick the teacher). The worst of them that made me to remove my kid immediately was seeing the teacher holding and lifting two other kids with their shirts from the back. Once she noticed my presence, she released the kids and lifted them from the shoulders. I reported the incident to the KinderCare office manager the same day but they never got back to me after 2-3 follow-up calls. I waited three weeks before reporting the abuse to WA state department of children, youth, and families. I thought this is the responsibility of any concerning parent. We chose this daycare based on a satisfactory experience of one of our friends, but their kids were older and were able to speak about any potential abuse of the teachers. Younger kids usually cannot appropriately analyze the situation and can be abused very easily. I truly understand now when I asked about the camera during the KinderCare tour why I have been told that the teachers would be distracted by the cameras in operation in the classroom. My recommendation is to avoid KinderCare in first place or to change it to a daycare with on-site camera if your kid is younger than 3-4 years old. read more

We have been at 5 facility based daycare centers in less than 5 years, so I feel well experienced to write this review. Our reasons for swapping daycare centers may leave you wondering if we are realistic in our daycare expectations, so I am happy to explain. We loved daycare 1 and only left because we moved house and away from the area, we left daycare 2 after only a few days when it became clear the center was not very professional, we left daycare 3 when they cancelled their before/after school care program which we knew we would be needing soon, and left daycare 4 when there were some kids with behavioral issues that were putting our kids physical safety in jeopardy. We have now been at Penny Creek KinderCare for 3 months and are extremely happy. The staff all have fairly long tenure at this center, which is rare in our experience with daycare centers. They are friendly and seem to genuinely care about all kids they come in contact with. The center director and assistant directors are lovely and always make themselves available to chat or be available to answer our questions. The center is bright, large, and always clean. It is one of the larger KinderCares, and has many rooms - which is great because in many cases the kids in the room have only a 6 month age span. The rooms are all fully separate, not one big area with half-wall dividers to separate "rooms" (very noisy environments!). The Transitional Kindergarten program, which is only offered at some of the KinderCare centers, is offered here and is fantastic. Our daughter is really enjoying the challenges of this program. Our younger daughter is in the Discovery PreSchool program and her language skills and confidence have greatly matured in the time we have been here. Our kids love going to this center, and miss it, their friends, and their teachers on the weekends. There are many enrichment programs offered to kids of most ages. This is a NAYEC accredited center, which was also a big draw card for us after some of the other experiences we have had. The families and parents at this center make a very big difference. The other parents are very friendly - many recognized us as being new and welcomed us in the first few weeks. The kids are well behaved and adjusted. The teachers here are wonderful, but probably don't face the kinds of issues and challenges we've seen teachers at other centers face. The tuition is at the mid to higher end of the scale for the area, but we have learned you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a high quality daycare center with seasoned and caring staff and a "family feel" environment in the South Everett area, this center should be on your list to consider. My only regret is not finding this center when we first moved to the area. read more

If there was a "0" star to give i definitely would! This is by far the worst experience we have ever had with daycare. We have a 7 year old that attended Kinder Care in Mill Creek and we had really good experience there, however; our daughter is 16 months old and since Mill Creek was booked we decided to try Penny Creek. Words cannot express how stressed and horrible my daughter looked every time i picked her up. It is definitely understandable for a child to cry until they get use to the environment however crying all day (as one caregiver has stated) is not normal in my book. It came to the point that she would cry as soon as we park and not just normal cry it was beyond stressful cry to the point that i took the day off that day to find a new day care! We enrolled in Kiddie Academy in Mill Creek and OMG completely different experience completely different child, no tears no stress. Kiddie Academy has cameras and at all times you can see what kids are doing and how teachers are interacting with them and it is absolutely AMAZING. Please avoid Penny Creek Kinder care and if you have no other choice please make sure teacher is not Anne she is so unfriendly and gives you no good feedback on your child!!! read more
