Used Silver Fox this past weekend for a winery tour in Temecula. The website makes it super easy to book a vehicle months in advance and everything can basically be done online. The day of our driver showed up promptly at our desired time and was great throughout the day. If we did it again, we'd request Jeff because he really made our day more enjoyable. I didn't trust that the wine tours wouldn't book to capacity even with Covid so we figured it would be safer to just hire our own driver. She made sure my family of 8 including my 75 year old grandmother got thrown around the back like a sack of month old potatoes making two people extremely car sick. Oh, and have plans later? No fear she'll make sure your 20 minute car ride turns into a 45 minute detour. We asked her to take the freeway several times on the return trip and she decided to drive the complete opposite way of our drop off location. Also, be prepared to provide your own directions even when you both have iPhones- that includes maps. +2 Stars- Looking for a cheap priced limo service? Three of us out for the afternoon, hitting our favorite wineries and breweries. We have used Ryan several times and he is fantastic. The limos are well maintained, fresh water, nice shiny clean bar ware and ice. We've used them for Christmas light tours, wine tours, parties and whenever we want to imbibe and not drive. No designated drivers in our group of friends so it's wonderful to have a reliable car service. Prices are fantastic too. We used Silver Fox Limousine for our transportation from Temecula to San Diego Airport. To me service is everything and it starts with punctuality. Our driver Doug showed up 15 minutes earlier than scheduled...I like that. Also good because we had some ticketing issues to get lined out upon arrival to the airport. Not only was Doug on time he was also polite and loaded our luggage with care. The sedan was clean and stocked with some waters for us. I can see why Silver Fox has so many great reviews. Caution, long review ahead... Back in September I took my family to Temecula for their first time. They are not avid drinkers but wanted to visit Temecula nonetheless for the scenery and the experience. I had been to Temecula previously with some friends so I had already planned out which wineries to visit and what to do at each one. Keep in mind, my grandmother was also part of the party so we were generally slow and wanted a pretty relaxed visit. My family and I very much enjoyed this limo service. But, keep in mind that our intention was just to have a new experience with a limo (parents have never been in a limo so wanted to see what it was like) and wanted the luxury of not having to drive ourselves. So our overall vibe for the day was more tame rather than let's hit as many places as we can in 5 hours and get wasted!!! Anyways, onto the review: It was easy to book online and if I had any questions or concerns their email responses were very quick. I booked our limo a month in advance and had no issues. We had a party of 6 and booked the 120" Stretch Lincoln for 5 hours. Pricing was fair in my opinion (deciding on a limo is already splurging so if you're looking to save money, you probably shouldn't book a limo...lol). Our limo driver, Isaac, was very attentive and considerate. 1) He definitely treated my grandmother and my whole family with great respect and care. 2) He called me ahead of time to assure me everything was good to go for the reservation, and even arrived early to pick us up since I mentioned to him that we had lunch reservations! 3) He also played photographer for us at each stop to ensure it was a day to remember. =] But, as much as we appreciated Isaac's attentiveness to get us the best deals and experience, the family would have preferred a slightly slower pace. We didn't intend to have full tastings at each winery since we don't drink too much and generally like to take our time. Isaac has some great discounts for tastings and has great connections so if you're into hitting as many wineries as you can and as many tastings as you can then definitely Isaac is your guy! Overall, this was a great limo service, Isaac had plenty of water stocked up and made sure that we hydrated so we can enjoy ourselves. I have had limos to wine taste in Temecula a handful of times and I have never received the type of customer service that Isaac gives. He goes above and beyond in all ways possible. He REALLY cares about you and your party. He calls prior and asks questions to figure out what's best for the group and has great recommendations. He personally goes to the wineries so he can explain them all in detail. He knows the bartenders so he pairs you with the best ones and we were always treated amazing. At each winery he would bring us a cup of water and tell us where the restroom is. He was constantly asking if we would like a picture and he knew all the great spots to take pictures (so nice!!!). He also has great food recommendations. * Pricing - we went during the week on a Friday and the 8 person limo was 60/hour plus 20% gratuity. I am a repeat customer, booked 4 different limo services in 1 week in March 2023 (spending thousands of dollars). Booking the appt was fine, its what happened after that prompts this review to warn others. I was told by the driver I wouldn't be charged for extra time if we went a little over time as long as we left right away, which we did. We arrived about 15 minutes late and I tipped the driver extra money when we got back to our destination as he was great! The next day I was charged for a full hour + tip. I contacted Ryan (the owner) via email and he was combative and told me the driver was stealing from him (none of my business as a consumer). I was simply asking for my money back due to what his driver promised me in a text message, "I wouldn't be charged if we left right away" and we did. After several back and forth emails, Ryan refused to refund me for the hour he charged my credit card without my permission. This company has its priorities all wrong. Good customer service will lead to repeat business and good word of mouth. Instead, I will NEVER use this company again and I will share this experience with as many people as I can. There are plenty of other local limo services in which I haven't been treated this way and I would recommend looking for those other companies before doing business with SilverFox.
