Dr. Kramer has a kind bed side manner and listened to my teen daughter and gave her excellent advice on taking care of her skin and getting her face cleared up from acne. My husbands issues were also resolved with eczema on his arms. She is a warm person who exudes compassion and kindness. It is my understanding that she is heavily involved in community service and mission trips as well, which means a lot to me. Her office staff are professional and polite. They return calls quickly and are top notch. Also very important, SHE DOES NOT KEEP YOU WAITING. She honors your time and doesn't keep you waiting in the waiting room or exam room. This is very important to me as my time is also important. A lot of doctors lose focus on this issue, imo. I highly recommend Dr. Kramer.

I have had a horrible infection that would not go away. Neither my primary care nor urgent care doctors could treat it, so it was vital I get in to a dermatologist. Apparently, there is a major shortage of dermatologists in the area, because I could not get an appointment with anyone in a 50 mile radius, despite calling at least 20 clinics and doctors. I was near tears when I called the Peninsula Skin clinic with Dr. Rasmussen, and found out that they, like everyone else, have a long waiting list. Melissa at the front desk must have heard the desperation in my voice, because she worked with me to find a solution and a time to come in. After my calling all those clinics, she was the first person who showed some concern and empathy. This caring attitude was present with all the staff during my appointment. The person who actually treated me was a Physician's assistant, Bill Bies. He understood that I needed prompt treatment to address all possible issues, along with taking samples and setting up a follow up appointment. After struggling with this infection for so long, it was a relief to find competent and professional care combined with empathy.

The office is newly updated with a beautiful reception room and lots of current equipment. It was easy to get an appointment scheduled and they were willing to bill my insurance for annual exam. The front office staff was welcoming and I filled out the new paperwork and probably only waited 10 minutes or so before I was taken back to the exam operatory. The operatories are also new with a clean white interior design that give it both a modern look as well as the feel of sterility you want in a physician's office. Dr. Kim was very professional and answered my questions. For the pigmentation she recommended a laser procedure but acknowledged its shortcomings that the pigmentation would likely return due to sun exposure and my genetics. I appreciated her discussing the likelihood of recurrence considering the laser treatment was costly. They have a lot of skin products that were pushed towards the end of the appointment which I wasn't a fan of. Other than that, I felt the office did a good job of reviewing my options and everyone was pleasant and professional.

The front desk staff or call center that schedule the appointments are horrible. I've had several…read moreurgent needs that went consistently unmet that cost me several expensive trips to urgent care. I receive call backs on urgent medical needs a month later. The derm himself put a note in my file that I need to be seen 24-48 hours when I call about a specific topic and the staff never accommodate. The care itself is satisfactory but good luck ever being seen. Also, I never hear back from the medical teams when the front desk staff say they will send a note. I find it hard to believe that the medical team won't check their messages once in the morning or once in the evening. If that's the case, then this is very poor service. I do not recommend the Olympia or Centralia location or frankly Frontier Dermatology as a company, period.

Had a long standing appointment for today at 10:40 AM. I received a text this morning at 7:34 AM…read morereminding me of the appointment. Left the house for the appointment at around 9 AM. Received a voice mail at 9:13 telling me that they had canceled the appointment. I didn't find out that the appointment was cancelled until I was in the office and was told by the staff that my appointment was canceled because the referral from the VA has expired. I specifically remember at my initial appointment when Todd Williams mentioned that he wanted me back in 6 months to recheck the area on my back that he did a biopsy on, that I would probably need a new referral. He told me then that it wasn't necessary, that they would take care of that. What a colossal screw up and a waste of 2 hours of my time, not to mention the fuel expended on the 50 mile round trip.

I wasn't expecting much, especially since my dermatologist had told me that I was "already receiving the best skin care treatments" at her office. Wendy definitely proved her wrong. Right from the start, Wendy truly listened to my struggles with acne and she was very caring and empathic toward my situation since she has had her own skin battles in the past. She educated me on how to treat my acne problem with simple lifestyle and dietary changes. She also offered me personalized skin products that, although not cheap, are definitely affordable and less expensive than anything else I had received from dermatologists prescriptions. Within just a couple months, my skin was better than it had been since elementary school and it has only improved in the past two years with her products. Now, I barely break out and my skin has never been healthier. However, I cannot give this business 5 stars despite my incredible skin transformation. A little over a year ago, Wendy decided to hand off her older patients to a new esthetician so that she could accept more new clients. While her other estheticians are also highly trained and professional, I do not receive the same education and expertise as I did from Wendy. Sharon is the worse injector I have ever seen…read more First of all she over injected my cheeks and I think she did it deliberately because she did not want me to come back a third time. I'd seen her once and it was fine, then I saw her a second time. The second time I saw her it was for Botox and the stupid lady froze my face!!! I told her and yet she did it anyway and I paid for the extra units...which I promptly when home and used my NuFace to try to speed up the recovery...it did not work. (Although copper supplements did seem to help a tiny bit...maybe) Anyway, I was very unhappy but already prepaid for some filler. I went in for cheek filler and she over filled me and of course used more than my prepaid so I ended up paying more! It was a mess. I left there and the very next day drove 2 hours back to my previous injector, who fixed me up. I am rather certain Sharon over-filled me deliberately.
