Hard to describe but if you have ever had a "clinical" facial or a facial with someone who just isn't that into it - you can definitely feel the difference. I get facials to help slow the aging process but also for relaxation and Jesseca hit both of those areas exactly perfect! She even offered fuzzy warm socks to keep my feet warm. The bed was super comfortable and cozy too. Jesseca's pricing is reasonable, which is one of the biggest factors for me. I don't have a ton of discretionary money so I want value for services and you definitely get it here. Jesseca even told me about a special package she was offering, which I ended up purchasing as it was a good value. I can't wait to go back and continue with routine care. She carries Image products which feel amazing to the skin. Online booking was ridiculously easy with nice reminders leading up the appointment. Easy parking, easy to find, right off I-5 for those who may want to travel to Tumwater. Lots of services offered at different price points. If you have shopped around, you know her prices are reasonable. This is not a "super spa" with a glitzy glamorous ambiance and ridiculous prices to match - this is a simple little spa that is clean and warm and perfect for those looking to take care of yourself, either splurging or on a budget. There is nothing small town about her services, though. She is excellent at what she does. So happy I found Jesseca. I will be back and plan on being a loyal customer from here forward. I was greeted by this very quirky, sweet, friendly gal - Jesseca. She made me feel comfortable right away, gave me a tour of the place and then ran through the ropes. Upstairs was her space, it's very small, but it was private and comfortable. She was very knowledgeable - I was surprised because Ive had probably a dozen but she taught me new stuff which was great. The spray tan itself is phenomenal. Smells fresh, and unlike every other spray tan I've ever had, it was not sticky! I immediately saw color too which was nice. I am looking forward to see how well it swears in the Las Vegas heat for the next few days. She definitely has my business and I am looking forward to recommending her to friends and family.

I do not live in Olympia but am in the area often. Most recently, I was able to book a same-day afternoon appointment for a "signature haircut" with a stylist priced at $57. This worked great for my schedule and budget, since I just wanted a trim and had errands nearby. In the few hours between booking and my appointment time, I was called twice to reschedule because the stylist was "running late." The first call bumped my time slot a half hour. The second call gave me the option of rescheduling for the evening, another day, or with another stylist. I was already in Olympia by then, so I chose to see a different stylist. I appreciate the heads up so that I wasn't stuck waiting at the salon for a half hour, but I was not informed when getting rescheduled that the stylist's base rate would be higher ($77). This seems like something that should have been mentioned. The entire experience felt like I was an inconvenience to the salon/Brandy. She barely spoke to me, didn't check in beyond the initial consultation and turned me away from the mirror while she worked. To make matters worse, my haircut is not at all the 1" trim with some shaping we discussed. She cut deep severe layers I cannot get out of my face, tuck behind my ears or put up in a ponytail. The bottom layer is so much less dense than the top, too. This will be the opposite of low maintenance for me to live with while it grows out. I absolutely hate this haircut.

I made the appointment and was told the cut and toner would be $80 (45+35). The photos I am attaching show me as I arrived at the salon (long hair, long bangs). The second photo is what I showed the stylist I wanted. I realize AI photos are not a depiction of your actual hair, but I wanted her to use it as a guide for what I wanted- no length off the bangs which were growing out, just blended as to be unnoticeable. We discussed that I liked volume, nothing slick to my head. I asked for internal layers, that would facilitate the hair turning under. All totally do-able. I first asked for more of an A-line lob, which the stylist said was beyond her capabilities. I should have heeded that red flag, but said it was ok to just do one length. Disaster ensued. The third photo is how I was allowed to leave the salon after my bill was $118, not $80. The lighting isn't great in the salon, and although I knew the ends were the total opposite of what I asked for, I assumed I could play with it at home and get it more to my liking. I walked in to my house and my daughters gasped and said "what happened?!?". I soon discovered not only was my length too short and blunt (no internal layers at all), but my bangs were bluntly chopped off and were the opposite of blended. I immediately got back into my car and drove back to the salon. The stylist did say that she could do some adjusting in an hour. So I went back home and came back to the salon. The stylist did try to adjust my bangs by trying to angle them, which made them even shorter and at that point they're really was nothing more than her skill level could do. The entire next day was spent trying to style it. I gave up and sent the salon manager an email detailing my experience along with pictures. She said the cut was perfectly acceptable, and the stylist had "followed the line of my existing cut", which was obviously not true. She said she did find a $10 overcharge for the haircut and then I was charged a $20 fee for a custom mix of the toner, which I did not ask for (also stay away from the EQ toner- you can see from the photos it did absolutely nothing to my hair). All she offered was to refund the $10, which she did. So, the salon obviously thinks this is a perfectly acceptable haircut. I am 55 years old, and this is one of the worst hair debacles I have ever had. The fact that the salon manager didn't have me immediately come back in to try to correct the obvious butchering with a more experienced stylist was shocking. I ended up paying another $100 to Kristian at Robert Allen Salon, who worked a miracle so I could at least be seen in public. I think the photos speak for themselves. I will let you be the judge and make your own decisions on whether or not you want to make an appointment here, but don't say I didn't warn you. Horrible technique and even worse customer service.

They moved the Sephora from inside of the mall to this new location and its much more convenient now. Its around the corner from REI at Capital Mall.

At first, I was not sure that my acne would ever go away because nothing helped and my genetic predisposition did me no favors. Wendy is very caring and works with you every step of the way to get you to your desired results. This is definitely teamwork because while Wendy wants to help (she really does!) it is essential to keep up with the routine of daily products she designs for you. I left my first consultation with her (a year ago) with so much hope and excitement that I could not wait to see results happen with my skin. The office is newly updated with a beautiful reception room and lots of current equipment. It was easy to get an appointment scheduled and they were willing to bill my insurance for annual exam. The front office staff was welcoming and I filled out the new paperwork and probably only waited 10 minutes or so before I was taken back to the exam operatory. The operatories are also new with a clean white interior design that give it both a modern look as well as the feel of sterility you want in a physician's office. Dr. Kim was very professional and answered my questions. For the pigmentation she recommended a laser procedure but acknowledged its shortcomings that the pigmentation would likely return due to sun exposure and my genetics. I appreciated her discussing the likelihood of recurrence considering the laser treatment was costly. They have a lot of skin products that were pushed towards the end of the appointment which I wasn't a fan of. Other than that, I felt the office did a good job of reviewing my options and everyone was pleasant and professional.

I called ahead to be sure Dr. Kim was familiar with Sculpra. Even though I was assured that she had…read moredone many applications, I should have known better when she was mixing it as I was led to the room. I knew at the very least it should be mixed at the least 2 days in advance. I continued to have the treatments. The only change was that I ended up with several visible nodules that are still visible 30 months later. Stupidly trusting, I paid over $10,000 to have other, often painful, usless procedures performed. Dr. Kim has a sweet personality but she is inexperienced. As a further note. I had Sculptra injected years back, by a physician in Philadelphia, with amazing results! Do not waste your money here!

I was pretty nervous since I was taking a lot on in my first visit.. extended bikini, underarms, lip and brow wax! Alison's place was very clean and inviting. Her demeanor was professional, amiable and relatable! During the services we chatted normally and she was very informative about the proceedings. I felt comfortable and the wax used was thick and hurt less than I was expecting. That said I have a fairly high pain tolerance and I'm sure everyone reacts to waxing differently. My experience was that the lip wax hurt the most!! Will return!

I am usually up to my ears in kids, professionally and personally (not that I am complaining)- but there are years between the time and funds for a facial. There was a promo and I went in to Blossom. It looks like a pink teahouse. My esthetician gave me the tropical glow. I have forgotten what it is like to be pampered. The hot cloth, the heated bed, the extractions, the facial massage, scalp massage, lathering of the neck. I felt like I was being sculpted and melted in her hands. When she put a hot cloth under my shoulders I started to cry. It has been so long to feel that good. I am not sure if people are aware that facials are so much more than washing a face and slapping cream on it. A facial targets all the places where I carry my stress. And to be touched like that, gently with only the concern for my relaxation. I am not sure if you noticed, but male bachelors don't do that. A foot rub is rushed to unzipping their pants. A back rub is like making a hamburger patty. I've attached a picture of the dermaplaning shavings. I thought it was interesting. It helps the skin absorb the moisturizer. Anyway, what can I say? I found my new self care temple. God knows I will need it in the future. Life can be so very hard, and as a mom, we need more than slipper socks and kid crafts as gifts. So if you are a giver and you've got some some bucks, this is the place to treat your Oly guy or gal. Highly, HIGHLY, recommend D'Lana. She brought me a tea and chocolate for after my facial. I am in love.
