Saving Face Skinspa truly changed my skin for the better and I am so grateful for her services. I came into Wendy's office extremely frustrated and disheartened with red, inflamed skin. I wasn't expecting much, especially since my dermatologist had told me that I was "already receiving the best skin care treatments" at her office. Wendy definitely proved her wrong. Right from the start, Wendy truly listened to my struggles with acne and she was very caring and empathic toward my situation since she has had her own skin battles in the past. She educated me on how to treat my acne problem with simple lifestyle and dietary changes. She also offered me personalized skin products that, although not cheap, are definitely affordable and less expensive than anything else I had received from dermatologists prescriptions. Within just a couple months, my skin was better than it had been since elementary school and it has only improved in the past two years with her products. Now, I barely break out and my skin has never been healthier. However, I cannot give this business 5 stars despite my incredible skin transformation. A little over a year ago, Wendy decided to hand off her older patients to a new esthetician so that she could accept more new clients. While her other estheticians are also highly trained and professional, I do not receive the same education and expertise as I did from Wendy. I would still recommend this place to anyone with stubborn acne troubles, but just be warned--if you make the decision to come here, you will be handed off as soon as your initial treatments are done and you no longer will be allowed to schedule an appointment with Wendy. read more

Wendy is the real deal. I spent, literally, hundreds of dollars on products, doctors, and dermatologists for my teen daughters cystic acne. I took time off work and waited months for an appointments. We traveled to Tacoma and Seattle. My daughter never felt heard, products were expensive and worked for a short time or didn't work at all. Co-pays were expensive as well. My daughter heard about Wendy from a friend. We looked into her website and heard so many testimonials, it was unbelievable. She is booked a lot because she is that good but you can get in to see her within a few weeks! She also does a mail order service and consultation via email if you don't live in Olympia or near by. I can't begin to tell you how amazing she is. She keeps in touch with your kiddo and even in maintenance will check in or answer questions if anything comes up. My daughter now has a great routine and clear skin with minimal effort. Ok, and now on to me - a mama with aging skin. She has given me the best products - no more crap products bought online, costco, Ulta, blah blah blah. She has the best and they work and they are more reasonable than other products that promise to work but don't. I have had a fibroblast done that helped with droopy eyelids and a facial (which was wonderful and relaxing and left my skin feeling refreshed and bright). I plan on having some dark age spots removed soon. Go to Wendy and never look back. She is the best at what she does. She keeps her appointments, she is easy to book by calling or online. If you have acne, you need to go here. I used to suffer from horrible, painful cystic acne and Saving Face was the only place that helped me to cure it and my skin is now acne free and glowing! I used to slab my face with make up to cover the acne and I no longer wear make-up. I thought I would stop going after my acne went away, but I've been hooked since and have made it part of my monthly routine to visit Saving Face to get my facials =]. I definitely see and feel a difference by going in monthly. I also got my primary doc to prescribe these services so my HSA can pay for it. My story: in 2015 after having my baby, my hormones went crazy and I got really bad acne. I went to three different dermatologists in the Olympia area and none of their treatments worked, one even burned my face! The last one I saw suggested the acutane treatment. I decided not to do acutane because it sounded super scary, the booklet alone was scary enough to read! I felt like their guinea pig... and I felt hopeless and a depressed. My heart seriously goes out to teenagers who are dealing with this, acne really sucks.
